“Delivery was set up during a snowstorm week with no notification to me up until 20 minutes before delivery. Tried calling vanity depot and emailed them and got no response. Delivery truck ended up getting stuck and I had to personally shovel him out. I live on a hill and my driveway is sloped, Making it extremely difficult to bring up a complete vanity set when there’s snow and ice outside. Not happy haven’t even been able to check the boxes for damage. Never again will order from you”

“Delivery has been a nightmare. Since placing my order over a month ago, having my vanity sent to Wayfair instead of sending it to my home. I have yet to receive notification that my vanity is being delivered to my home.”

“Little to no communication. Have to chase down information through customer service. No accountability if items are shipped with all items included. Items even with double checking still don’t include all items when shipped.”

“I recently purchased a beautiful Vanity with matching mirror. The mirror was described as 27 inches. Unfortunately, that was the width and not the height, which was 45 inches. The mirror arrived and, because the box was so large, I had my handyman take it to my new home and unbox it. When I got there later I realized that the mirror was way too huge for my space (would have had to move the light fixture practically up to the ceiling) and, frankly, looked to big for the single vanity. When I contacted VD they said there was nothing I could do without have the original box. So now I have to eat that purchase and start over. The vanity was not cheap and I would have thought that VD would have at least tried to work with me on a return. Most likely will not shop there in the future.”

“The quartz countertop has a scratch in it and unfortunately the contractor installed it before we saw the scratch, otherwise I would return it”

“The vanity is very nice. However we received a cracked sink and the countertop although it was said to be white it had speckled grey in it. Then I had to pay for a returned too that wasn’t white as shown in description. Not a happy camper for $238.00 return for poor quality.”

“I had 2 vanities delivered. 2 James Martin 36” Bristol Cottage. A cabinet hinge and a drawer slide are defective on 1 of the vanities. VD Customer service was not at all helpful in resolving these issues. I bought a replacement cabinet hinge from Amazon.com at my expense. The drawer slide will be harder to find- but due to the lack of concern at both Vanities Depot- and at James Martin Vanities- I will have to resolve this problem on my own. I’m very disappointed.”

“The vanity was beautiful, but the back vertical supports are placed making it difficult for plumbing. The most disappointing part was the instructions for installing the sink and vanity top were vague and inaccurate.”

“The mirror we ordered was broken and we took pics and it was reordered. We have not heard anything for about 10 days and I called and it was supposed to be shipped out in 48 hours but we have received absolutely no communication from vanities depot. I do not know if it has been shipped or even ordered. Sandra Burns”

“Placed two orders over a week ago and have not even gotten a message that the order is being worked. Emailed them, left a phone message to find out about when I could expect my order...crickets. Today, I called eleven times and not a single person ever took my call. It automatically goes to voicemail. No company these days goes this long without letting you know at least when the item will ship. This product is sold on so many sites at the same price, I seem to have hit a loser company.”

“Ordered a vanity and marble top. They were shipped separately. The top was broken. The vanity is pretty but the drawers do not pull out easily. Have to yank on them. I thought maybe it would get easier after a while but they are still hard to open. For the price it was not worth it.”

“You are required to inspect your delivery for damage within 24 hours. Our 72" base cabinet and marble counter top came shrink-wrapped on a pallet--several hundred pounds between the two items. I noticed damage to the cabinet box and carefully cut away some of the cardboard and Styrofoam to find the back panel of the cabinet crack. Since it was the back panel and had to be removed and modified to accommodate the plumbing, Vanities Depot would not correct the problem. Several months later the several hundred pound 72" marble top was unpacked to find it was cracked all the way through. There was no visible damage to the box. VD would not replace or even give me a discount on a replacement since it was 4 months since the shipment arrived. Their policy is they expect you to unpack and inspect the items within 24 hours. Be prepared to remove all packing materials and then store your exposed order to damage until you or your contractor is prepared to install the pieces. Very impractical process and overall I had the sense that they use this 24 hour policy to make it your problem.”

“I love the look of the vanities, but have yet to receive mine. I ordered mine over 6 weeks ago, in May. I just received the linen cabinet today, after the first was damaged. Unfortunately, because the vanity & cabinet were originally shipped together, both had to be returned. I expected both items again today, but only received the linen cabinet. The only reason I gave you the 2 instead of a 1 is because I don't know who is at fault here. None-the-less I still have no vanity, don't where it's at AND have paid for it! You need to do a better job!!”
