“I had trouble finding replacement slip covers for a Pottery Barn Napa chair. Comfort Works made a customized order to my chair. After I requested an order, I got into contact via email with a knowledgeable person to help me take measurements. They followed up with several more requests to ensure the measurements were correct. It took some time for their production to make them, but when they arrived, they fit perfectly. The quality of material and seems were beyond expectations, but worth the wait.”

“Great product, slipped right on. Each piece is labeled as to which part of the sofa it belongs to. Ikea's furniture is considered "disposable" but our little Solsta sofa bed was still good. It's just that the fabric it came with was faded and stained. The irony is that the slipcover cost as much as I paid for the sofa! But hey, one less piece for the landfill right now AND happy to give business to a small company like this.”

“I ordered a slipcover for my IKEA stocksund sofa this October. Very disappointing experience!!! Perfect fit? Poor fit! One side of the seat cushion cover is 4cm longer than my seat. The L shape area does not fit properly and the excessive fabric is about 2cm on each side. The armrest protector is also poorly done, which has a excessive fabric of about 3cm. The back cushion cover is extremely tight and when I put it on, it is obviously visually smaller than the original cushion. All photos are attached here and everyone can see the difference. Replacement claim? Ridiculous lengthy process! Then I decided to give it a try to submit a replacement claim. I even felt lucky that they have the instructions on photos required for the claim. What I didn’t know is this is just the beginning! Until today, the claim process has cost nearly a month, a total of 20 emails, 10+ photos, a pdf document contains 20 measurements (Yes they asked me to measure seam to seam for every detail of my sofa AND their cover.) and customer service is still asking for more photos in order to submit replacement request. What really frustrates me is they never provided any complete list of requirements, they just kept sending emails saying: ”Can I trouble you to provide blablabla...” Besides it will take another month or two for production and shipping. By that time I received the final product, it will be probably half year past my order date. The process is ENDLESS and just a waste a of time. I QUIT.”

Hello Yujia. While it is not our intention to sound like we do not trust our customers, we hope you understand as an online retailer in the business for slipcovers - slipcover fit can be very subjective as there are many variables that may have affected the fit and how it looks. It might visually not look right but without photos and measurements, we would not be able to find out what the actual problem is. It is in our deepest interest to resolve any complaint or feedback, but we would need your assistance in matters such as providing said photos/measurements to get the process going and to ensure we are identifying all issues as accurately as possible. The photos and measurements provided were not adding up for us to proceed with a replacement, hence, reiterations were requested - we hope you understand our hands are tied and are unable to proceed with a free set of replacements without the requested documentation. After the first few emails, an option of reimbursements credits for getting it locally altered to your preferred fit was provided but not accepted. It's still on the table should you want to take it. A follow-up email was sent to you on 16 Dec 2020 at 11:36 AM - we will await your reply.

“Received my new sofa covers last week and couldn’t wait to try them out, unfortunately I had to wait until the new decorations were complete. So today was the day!!! Putting them on required stamina - they are a snug fit, but boy was it worth it - they are brilliant and I am delighted with the result, so thank you team comfort works!! You have successfully given my old IKEA Karlanda sofas a new lease of life.”

“The cover I purchased with my IKEA Nockeby sectional 3+ years ago turned out to be no match for my 1 year old husky/german shepherd mix who seemed to instantly shed her entire coat the second she jumped up on any given cushion. Amazingly, the cover seemed to accept her hair as if it was meant to be there all along, allowing it to weave deeply into the existing framework of the cover, much to my chagrin. Nothing, and I mean nothing, could lift the hair out of that cover. My poor couch! I love this couch and it is in great condition otherwise - I was heartbroken to think of getting rid of it. However, I was not a fan of being fully enveloped by a blanket of hair every time I wanted to lay down, so I got pretty desperate pretty quickly to remedy the situation. I had resolved myself to the fact that I was going to need to shell out $2500+ for a new dog friendly couch when I stumbled across Comfort Works and their vegan leather covers for my exact couch (which has been discontinued through IKEA since right after I bought it)!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the VERY reasonable price of a custom cover that even allowed for a choice of piping details on the trim of each cushion. I was pretty sure that it was going to be too good to be true but didn't have the time to waste. So, with my dwindling sanity, rather than ordering a sample first, I dove head first into ordering the vegan leather cover - waited a few weeks for it to come back in stock and ship out to me. WOAH. I cannot explain to you just how perfect this couch cover is. I am fully in shock every single day that it is as nice as it is for the price I paid. Not only did I save myself 70% of what I would've had to pay for a new leather couch but I was also able to keep the couch that I love so much which is not only better for my budget and my space but also way better for the environment. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a Comfort Works cover. You wont regret it!”

“We are super impressed with our new covers!! We ordered replacement covers for our IKEA Ektorp couch and chair. They are superior to the old IKEA covers and look fantastic! They fit the furniture so much better too. It looks like we have a brand new couch and chair now. We are extremely happy and would absolutely order again!”

“Can you bring a dying Ikea Friheten couch back to life? Yes! We needed to replace our heavily used sofa bed. It sits in our TV room and doubles as a guest bed at least once to twice a year when relatives visit. The couch still worked but the pleather was peeling off and unraveling. After sewing back the parts that were split and putting a new cover on, I think I love it more now then when I first bought it. I love that we can pull off the covers and wash them too.”

“The cat sure likes it, and so do we! We purchased the Madison Ash slipcover and Beech Bailey Wooden Sofa legs. We used Velcro to tuck in the skirt to modernize the couch. It looks a lot better now!”

“Oh my goodness we are beyond thrilled! Literally transformed our old beat up pottery barn couch into a brand new one with an awesome slip cover. Fit perfectly and we really appreciated the samples so I could see which one would hold up best with our dog and kiddos. I was nervous since it was coming overseas to the US and all communications were only via email which was delayed at times but super happy in the end. Thanks so much ComfortWorks.”

“too expensive, another $50 for tax, shipped rom china, you know you can just get it from china for a tiny fraction of the price. so they are upcharging you $200 for the letter and low quality bag/ribbon to make it feel fancy”

One of the reasons our covers are priced this way is because they're all made-to-order at our fully-owned sewing facility in China (no mass-production here!). This allows us to remain fully in control for the quality of our products and to invest in (especially) the well-being of our team based there. We also believe that our slipcovers are an affordable alternative vs upholstering your sofa from scratch.
