“I received the Costco Connection monthly promotional magazine on Feb. 5th. ( I usually receive a coupon book but that never came.)
I saw an add with $15 off of their Kirkland Nicotine gum but then noticed that it said
“Valid 1/20/25-2/2/25.” I called my local Costco. They just said it’s expired, and even when I explained that I had just received the ad, they didn’t care. I called their corporate office who transferred me to their online c/s who didn’t seem to care either and would not honor the coupon. I then called back to corporate and was transferred to the Southeast regional office and spoke to a Mr Christopher, who had the same attitude-nothing they can do. I am thinking of cancelling my membership and only using local stores. Much better customer service.”
“There was clear racism from the security guy or loss prevention guy.
Accused me of stealing and followed me to the car at the parking lot and checked my receipt which was already checked at the exit door and told me I believe you had items did not pay for it and after he checked the bill he said oh you can go now everything is okay.
F*** that I escalated the matter and the store manager called me and all what he did oh we are sorry as Shaun ( the loss prevention guy) has an attitude like that. IF YOU KNOW HE HAS ATTITUDE LIKE THAT WHY NOT FIRE HIM. I am so disappointed from the management and of course I cancelled my membership and advised my family and friends not to shop there.”

“Quality products at good products but they drive me nuts moving their inventory all over the store. I shop at Costco regularly, and though they promote moving their goods as to be on a treasure hunt, I don’t have the time to be on a treasure hunt every time I shop there. What use to be a pleasant and welcomed experience has turned into frustrations and stressfulness. Even the Costco employees don’t know where the products are located and state they are just as upset as I am.”

“I went to Costco to renew my card and in the entrance they did not let me go in , I explained them I need to renew my card and any way they did not permit me go inside . They followed me like a police and take outside. Is very sad how your employees are treating like a criminal. Please dear Costco don’t do that we your clients.”

I am writing to express my concern about an unpleasant experience during checkout at your Bayer’s lake location on 26/1/2025 in the afternoon.
As I was leaving, the employee at the final check-out station—a young woman wearing a winter hat—took my receipt to review my purchases. She claimed that I had not paid for some items and asked me to step aside while she called another employee to verify. After waiting, the second employee confirmed that I had indeed paid for everything.
What disappointed me most was that the first employee did not apologize for the inconvenience or acknowledge the mistake, which I found disrespectful and unprofessional.
I understand that thorough checks are necessary, but I hope this situation can be addressed to prevent such issues in the future by skilled person who can read items in receipt rather untrusting customers.

“Went in to see what the hype was all about. Membership pointed to the signs. Didn’t explain how to sign up or break down of cost. Have to figure it out yourself. We were offered to go on a day pass to check it out. Service dog walking out as we were entering. Worker yelled at us to read the sign. No dogs allowed. This screams disrespect. Discrimination. Unfair ADA treatment. Steer clear. At all cost. Our money is no good here. BJ and Sam’s will continue to earn our business. Apparently they love our business 😉”
“The woman at the exit was extremely impolite; she could have simply instructed me to proceed to the entrance. She just started screaming at me and blaming me and my kids after I told her that I hadn't been here in a while. Since we were nearby and wanted to eat Costco chicken bake, we were only there for the food. Since these unprofessional employees yelled at me and pointed fingers at me for not knowing they had changed the rule, I will no longer shop here after today. I suppose I wasn't as white as she was. “Supper rude Gas station young women working at the gas station on 5611 UTSA BLVD San Antonio TX. On Jan. 4,2025. I pull up to put gas after a women finish putting gas in front of me and this young Costco women worker run in front of my car to put the lock on the gas pump so I was not able to put gas on my car and when I ask her if I can put gas very quickly she say there is a gas station across the street when there were other cars still pumping gas on other pumps. Also before driving there I look up the hours for the gas station and it says they close at 8:00pm. Apparently they close at 7pm. I get it they were closing but she doesn’t have to be so rude with an attitude. Maybe she needs to get a job where she don’t have to talk to people.”
