Just over a week ago, I received an email advising me I could no longer use my Marriott Bonvoy card with Curve. This weekend I received an email from Creation telling me they were cancelling my Marriott credit card effective 1st November. A bit of research on the web suggests all Curve customers that have ever used their card with Creation were getting their cards cancelled. I have been a Marriott member for over 25 years and have had my Marriott Mastercard (they no longer issue these) for most of that time. I am hugely annoyed and disappointed, but no idea who to speak with at Marriott.

Horrible and ignorant customer service. My card has been blocked / declined a dozen times while I was abroad on business trips causing embarrassment in front of colleagues. There was not communication before or after the card was blocked. Only way to unblock is to call Monday to Friday 0900 - 1730 and wait for an hour. Raised a complaint and got the most ignorant response. I am an IHG spire elite customer and have requested IHG to change their provider from Creation. Absolute worst!

Tried to make a payment, said I have to call them, been on hold 1:15 mins so far, this is a massive problem, I need to make this payment, I’m going to complain to the ombudsman because if this payment is not taken it can wreck my credit score.. I would not recommend using this business, and Curry’s and other high street business should be looking at the impact it has on them, as I would probably not use them either.

One of the worst companies in the world! AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs! 10 calls a day (harassment) whilst there is an active complaint (which they have broken FCA rules in relation to) incompetent departments and staff!Do not know how to deal with vulnerable customers (another breach they have carried out) stay away from them! I am currently reporting their massive breaches to the FCA

Avoid like the plague. Creation is probably one of the UK's most fraudulent companies. When I signed the original agreement (Currys PC World), I made it clear that I wanted to make additional payments, on a monthly basis, so that I could clear the balance in a much shorter time frame than the original 36 month period. When trying to make card payments on their website, they reject ALL of them. I have subsequently tried to make payment over the phone (an automated system) and my card is rejected, with a "there was a problem with this....please hold whil we put you through to an operator" - this never happens. Waiting 1 hour, nothing. I have also emailed them without any resolution to this issue. Creation are in breach of their agreement and I will be escalating this to the financial ombudsman accordingly. After some research, it transpires this issue is widespread across all UK & ROI customers of Creation. If anyone else is experiencing this issue, I would urge them to immediately cancel any direct debits they have in place, as Creation are in complete breach of contract. In simple terms, AVOID this shower at all costs. I'd sooner deal with a loan shark. What surprises me most is that this corrupt institution is owned by BNP Paribas, a global financial institution that has (sorry, "had") an excellent reputation....

I have spoken to a lovely lady called Carolina and she was very polite on the phone and understandable and clear to my situation. Sorted my issue out straight away so very pleased with her customer service

My experience with Creation Consumer Finance has been more than positive. I have run into Money problems and held of ringing them as I was frightened of the response I would get from them. I suffer with an illness and explained that to 2 different staff I spoke with on separate occasions. Anmol yesterday who I spoke with took her time with me took stock of my account and my position with my finances at present. She ensured the whole time through out my call that I was ok to continue and to take a break when ever i needed to. She explained everything to me in simple terms and how we could get me back on track. Nothing was a problem for her. She even offered my more help from Creation ref my illness and told me never be frightened to ring them. Everyone's experience is different, I can only say how great Anmol made me feel after the call to know we have a plan in place and that I am taking positive steps to sort my financial mess out. Please if you have money issues talk to Creation they will help. I did not think they would and believe me I owe them a large amount of money. This is helping me get on the right track, Anmol was fantastic and went above and beyond in my view. She took stock of my finances and understood everything I am going through. Anmol's work colleague who I spoke with a month prior to whom I cant remember his name was very helpful and understanding as well. Times have changed and finance companies have changed they are there to help and listen. If you dont feel happy with the service ask to speak to someone else. I am still in shock at the help I got and the help I can have if I require it. I understand my credit rating is ruined by my actions but Creation are helping me sort it. Fair play. 5 star from me

I mislaid my user and password.It took me nineteen days to sort it.All manner of confusing emails,codes, text.I have now paid in full and will Never use them again.Be warned.

Help - I took out an interest free credit agreement on Saturday at John Lewis. Completed the online application and waited for response. Called Creation as I assumed I must have put the wrong details in as I didn't get a quick response. Told on the phone it could take 24 hours. Heard nothing Sunday or Monday. Tuesday I called them up again and the lady would assured me my application would be dealt with that day. No email arrived. Today at 1117 I got a call to say my application was accepted and to click on the email they were sending to e sign the agreement. Unfortunately the link doesn't work. I called back o creations and they say its an IT problem and hopefully will be rectified by Monday. I've spent almost two hours trying to speak to John Lewis customer service who have now delayed y delivery (which was scheduled for tomorrow) I'm really concerned because reading these reviews this is not a new problem.

Avoid them like a plague. Not worth ruining your credit score for no reason. Applied for IHG credit card which is sadly provided by this company who for no reason carried 2 soft search and 2 hard search in different dates when my credit score is excellent. Shocking...... this searches remain for 6 months in your account. Only applied because I like IHG and they offer Gold Elite membership if you enrol for their credit card but this company do not care. Not surprised why they have such low scoring review. Will be contacting IHG as although my credit report cannot be corrected but at least they should now.

Let's be quite clear here *AVOID THIS COMPANY* Let's be quite clear here. At the time of posting this negative review a staggering 72% of reviews posted are in the bad, or negative category. There has to be a reason for that, and it's quite clear Creation are falling short of expectations. In addition they seem to be doing very little to positively address the issues. I remarked in a previous post the difficulty I had accessing my online account. Surprisingly Creation did respond and I received a call from Hassan in which he explained the fault was being addressed by the IT department and would be resolved by Monday or at the latest Tuesday. It's now Wednesday. No further call from Hassan and no rectification of the issue. I called Creation to close my account. Whether that request is actioned remains to be seen. Given my previous experience I am doubtful. The service is outrageous. I'm at a loss understanding how this Company still trades. BNP Paribas Personal Finance consists of two separate companies, Creation Financial Services Limited and Creation Consumer Finance Limited, collectively trading under the name of Creation. BNP Paribas Personal Finance is fully owned by the France-based BNP Paribas. An email to their Regulatory Compliance Manager at BNP Paribas Personal Finance (Charlotte Crookes) given to me by the FCA has unsurprisingly been unanswered. Trust Pilot will not allow me to display this email address. Given the appalling conduct of Creation my advice is that you avoid this Company at all costs. Collect as much evidence as you can regarding your issue and contact the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. I cannot display their web address here as Trust Pilot don't allow it. A simple search of 'Financial Conduct Authority' should take you to their website. May I suggest if you don't take your issue up with the FCA, they aren't going to be aware of issues and the abysmal service from Creation will continue. You will note that very few negative comments on this platform receive a response from Creation. They are however likely to respond to positive comments and that really sums it up. I have incidentally copied the content of my review to the FCA who have acknowledged receipt. In addition I've sent an email to Mr A Baldock, the CEO of Currys PC World, directing him to my issues and asking why they continue to direct their customers to Creation. I suspect it's a commission but time will tell as to whether I receive any response from him

Just now WARNING Do not use!! WARNING Do not use!!! An agreement has been taken for furniture that hasn’t been received. 12 months in no furniture and over £2200 spent and still a credit agreement for £3000 outstanding... avoid at all cost they will not even liaise properly with the ombudsman

This is a fantastic company who recently provided me with interest free credit on a recent purchase. I've always used creation for things like this and will always continue to.

Rang to change direct debit from £520 to £120. Advisor did not advise that there was a delay of 20 working days (later confirmed by another advisor when I rang to complain as they listened to the recording). We paid in £400 to top up the additional £120 but as mentioned the original direct debit was still active and therefore we unwittingly ended up paying in £920. Rang to complain as above, promised it’d be resolved, we’d receive our £520 back within 5 working days and got £20 compensation. 3 weeks later still no refund, needed to ring again. Apparently it’s not been actioned. No doubt I’ll be ringing again in a week or so time.

Lousy company lousy management JUST look at the reviews here so l am not alone.They play around with your credit limits and never answer emails .Hope they will go the way of the dinosaur. Badly run and no one answers emails till the Financial Conduct Authority gets involved.Then they find some poor apologitic sap that simply says sorry but the problem does get fixed.Pitty u have to waste all this time anyway best not to deal with them.

Poor attitude from staff with a very poor contact process. One agent on the phone asked me to call to check a payment which they lost in the system had cleared. I told them they have my number. Tbe response i got confirmed was "we only contact you to chase money" poor customer service and a greedy profit driven organisation. Avoid at all costs.
