“As last year when you replaced my windows this time it was my outside front door and adjoining window level of workmanship was very high. Very pleased overall with all work completed,friendly and professional work done to a high standard. Would certainly recommend to anyone requiring similar installation.”

“I heard of CSJ through a friend who'd had work done by them. The salesperson came on time to measure up, explained my options and answered all my questions. The guys that came and did the work were excellent. I get stressed out when there's lots of mess, and you can't get away from mess when replacing windows, but mess was kept to a minimum. They fitted the new window sills and surrounds as well as part of the price and checked everything over with me when finished. I had 3 windows downstairs replaced and it took just an afternoon. All the mess was cleared up and cleared up properly, I had very little to do afterwards. There was a little rendering outside that needed repair and someone came and sorted this without my having to be around. All the windows in my house need to be replaced and it's not something I could afford to do in one go, but there has been no pressure from CSJ to take out finance I can't afford, or to agree a timetable. I can have one or more replaced when it suits me. I'd very much recommend CSJ to anyone considering replacement windows.”

“We had our windows and doors installed in January this year. We are very pleased with the quality of the products and have found the windows and doors to be excellent. The team were very friendly, professional and tidied up after themselves, however we felt they weren't given enough time for the job and they were rushed in certain aspects. We were having 9 windows and two doors fitted and they were given less than two days. When the old windows were taken out there was substantial damage to the plaster inside and out. Some, but not all, of this was rectified by the plasterer who visited at a later date. We also had a number of dents in walls and ceilings where the new windows were brought in. In some places the wood surrounds were not installed as we had agreed with the salesman, but the team were happy to rectify these errors when we pointed them out. The salesman was very friendly and informative, but the presentation of the financial packages offered was misleading.”

“We recently had a new front door and side panels fitted by CSJ. The whole experience - from first meeting to last fitting - was excellent. There was no sales pressure and the estimator was pleasant and very knowledgable. We were surprised that we paid no money before the door was fitted and they came when they said they were coming! We had a slight problem when they came to fit the door as a part was damaged. The fitters were great, they made an emergency repair and did not take the full payment on the day as the job was not complete! We were kept advised as to when the new panel would be ready and again they came when they said! Excellent service and a quality product.”

“I recently had new windows and doors fitted by CSJ. I am very pleased with my windows and doors and the quality of work carried out. The communication between CSJ and myself was very good and they kept me informed all the way through the process from enquiry to installation. The workmen turned up on time and the job was completed in one day and my house was left tidy afterwards and my old windows were taken away by CSJ. Good job would recommend.”

“From the beginning of the process to the end CSJ were extremely professional. No hard sell. Turned up for all appointments on time and kept me informed throughout. Windows are excellent and fitted expertly. All cleaning up was done, all I had to do was hang up my curtains! I would absolutely recommend CSJ to friends and family.”

“From start to finish everything was done perfect, the service was fast reliable, and the guy who fitted the doors was very polite, done a great job (even with my crooked walls ), he even cleaned up !! this is my 3rd time using your company and every thing has always been good quality and service i would recommend CSJ highly ..... “Very pleased overall with the installation of my new window. The installation team arrived at the specified time and were very efficient, tidy and well mannered. “The process has been very smooth, from initial contact to fitting of windows. The windows are lovely. We have 2 that tilt and turn , two in livingroom that open outwards with top parts fixed, which is just what we wanted. We can now sit on window seat and enjoy open windows. The bathroom window , also tilt and turn, has a lovely pattern. All windows are now easy to clean. They are beautiful.”

“Job: Fitting of 8 x windows Team turned up when booked and job completed within allocated time. The 3 guys were a great team, each knew what was required of them. No time wasted chit chatting smoke breaks etc... The quality of the job was 10 out of 10. Any small glitches were quickly overcome and job done to a high spec. Would highly recommend CSJ for any similar task. Well done guys, Billy O'Hara”

“I engaged CSJ on A family members recommendation and had long delays, fortunately my 8-week job only took 28-weeks. I have delayed my review so that it's publication would not jeopardise my family finally getting their job completed. The completed job an extension to a dinning room and kitchen together with a new kitchen. My biggest complaint starts with the CSJ contract. This A3 "yellow" piece of paper is not sufficient to detail anything that is not a major element of the build ( e.g. Flooring, tiling , taps sink etc) so if you get into a contract with CSJ get a complete schedule of work detailed down to the n'th degree. My job was a 10% deposit and two staged payments of 30% with a final 30% on completion. What I found out was that CSJ would rush work so as to achieve a payment stage. For example, the plasterer was rushed and the finished job is woeful. The other work done by the plasterer was fine so it is not the workmanship, it is CSJ's pressure on their staff. I am sure that CSJ are great at their core work (I.e fitting Windows), but they seemed lost at the bigger extension work. In the spirit of fairness, apart from the plastering which looks like the surface of the moon I am content with the finished extension, but it needed a lot of work from me and my wife to achieve this. For example, they mixed up components from my family members job bringing their sink, without our intervention they would have cut the worktop incorrectly.”

“Well, what can I say? 55 weeks later the job originally estimated as 16 weeks duration has finally been completed (still awaiting the paperwork though!) From the outset it's only fair to say that I'm happy with the final job. HOWEVER, it was a living nightmare from start to finish. You would not believe the things that went wrong here which were ALL avoidable if those overseeing the work had undertaken even the slightest amount of due diligence. If I had not personally got involved in lots of different ways goodness knows what we would have ended up with. The final job was acceptable despite CSJ rather than because of them. In setting the context, this relates to a 2 storey extension with a new kitchen and a bathroom and ensuite refurbishment. I paid well in to 6 figures for this. The vast majority of the tradesmen on the job were great guys but there were 2 who fell well below standard. These guys made us feel like it was the Chuckle Brothers who were working on our home. Every time they came they caused more damage than they built including to areas that were not even involved in the project! I finally banned them from our property. The management of this project was woeful. Promises from the very top of CSJ were repeatedly made then failed to follow through and be delivered. When things went wrong they tried to bully themselves out of it and to blame everyone but themselves. They use a lot of subcontractors and not one of them has a positive opinion of CSJ and their experience of working alongside them. CSJ can't keep hold of their senior staff. Over the 55 weeks our project was overseen by 4 different managers. There was no continuity and no one appeared to have the slightest idea of what was happening and when. I used up my full year's holiday entitlement waiting for tradesmen to arrive and often they failed to turn up when promised or more often or not, did not know what they were there to do or had to sit waiting (once for 3 days) for materials to arrive. It took from the 19th December 2014 to 4th September 2015 to get some of the final parts of the job completed despite me having a final payment of 10s of thousands of pounds outstanding which was payable on completion, who knows when they would have finished if I hadn't had a contract with a large payment due at the end. So if you are looking at getting some work done on your home and considering using CSJ, don't just walk away ... RUN!!!!”

“The team worked very hard, they did not stop! They cleared up after themselves and were polite at all times. We are very pleased with the installation, everyone who sees it comments on it. Here's hoping for a cosy winter! We have the best house in the street!!!”

“Bought a composite door from CSJ. Had originally intended to buy a normal pvc door but after seeing the difference between the two we were sold. The workmen were on time, polite, efficient, and clean and my door is absolutely lovely and changes the whole look of the house. Would absolutely recommend!”

“I am really pleased with my new look Windows. The service was very good and all staff were polite and very helpful going the extra mile to help me put my home back to normal regarding curtain tracks etc. The employees were there at the scheduled time and worked tirelessly to get the job done. Thank you you made this experience much easier for me than I thought it might be!”
