“NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE WASHING MACHINE INSTALLATION I truly wish that I could give zero stars after a n absolutely terrible experience with Curry’s. I took my elderly parents to purchase a washing machine and we paid for it’s installation. A leak was discovered a few months later - it had not been fitted correctly, and the machine had been emptying its water under their floorboards. Following multiple communications, Curry’s arranged for it to be fixed, but requested that we pay approx. £700 including a contribution towards replacement lino that had been ruined. It took numerous more telephone calls and emails before this cost was eventually reduced to approx. £200. Thanks for the privilege of charging my elderly parents for weeks and weeks of distress that you caused. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL SERVICE 😡 I am sharing our story with everyone that I know, and intend to share this on every review site that I can find, so that others do not have to suffer the same experience. I will never set foot in one of their stores again.”

“Horrendous experience - delivery times incorrect on website, misadvised TWICE by customer service, on the third time the person told me my parcel would never have arrived in that timescale, thereby confirming that EVERYTHING I'd been told up to that point was incorrect. I've informed them several times that I won't be able to receive the parcel but they REFUSED to cancel the order and redirect the parcel back to themselves, which is something they can do as other companies have done this for me before. The parcel has now been left on the door step - and it's an item worth £750. There is no one to take the item in so it's likely to get stolen, even though I've informed Currys SEVERAL times that no one can receive the parcel. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I was promised a manager call back and never received one. NO ONE wants to help you, misinformation and lies. PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM CURRYS. This is my first time using them and I won't ever be coming back”

“I lost my bitcoin to fake blockchain.com impostors on Twitter, they contacted me as blockchain official support and I fell stupidly for their mischievous act, this made them gain access into my blockchain wallet account, whereby 9.938 BTC was stolen from my wallet in total. I was dumbfounded because this was all my savings I banked up on, waiting for bitcoin bull run. “Be careful of crypto investment platforms promising huge returns. They are luring people into fake programs. I was scammed of 49,400USD in the middle of last year. “ordered a small fridge and a chest freezer from Currys. The delivery team was great. Unfortunately, the chest freezer was faulty. The display temperature didn't adjust the temperature. I submitted an exchange form online. I never heard back. A week later, I submitted another one. I received a generic email saying they needed more info. I called the curry's team, but I was transfered to the Montpellier team. I asked them to help and they said I need to talk to Currys. Yesterday, I online chated twice with Currys and both times, the team didn't help. They said I need approval from Montpellier to do an exchange first. So I called Montpellier again and they told me again, they don't give uplift codes to approve an exchange. Again they directed me to Currys. I chatted online again and asked to speak to a supervisor. He also didn't help. 10 days in and several attempts to simply exchange a faulty product and Currys failed to help. I will never buy from them again. I have a broken thermostat and they failed to acknowledge any problems.”
