Shocking service. I bought a washing machine and tumble dryer. Took a week to be delivered (unless you pay up to £45 for a slot!!). Then when delivered, the tumble dryer was faulty. Spent countless hours trying to get through maze-like phone systems to arrange a replacement. Now have to wait another week for it - with an unusable tumble dryer sitting on the middle of the kitchen. Never again.

Avoid curry’s they quick to take your money but their customer service is non existent!!!! Buy somewhere else

Terrible ... just terrible. If you are buying something online, better hope it works perfectly cause if it doesn't and you have to deal with them on the phone, GOOD LUCK!

They don't even deserve one star!! Purchased a microwave 7 months ago and it blew up, didn't have receipt so had to throw it and buy a new one. Purchased a TV and that wasn't working properly, had to keep taking it back to be repaired but, it kept getting Sen back with the same problem. It's been two weeks now that it's been in repair for and I still haven't heard from them!!!! Worst place ever to buy stuff from.

Not even one star !! I wouldn’t buy anything from them anymore!!! Very poor service! No one wants to do their job! No incentive for the employees to work and they lie not to do their job properly.

After placing my order I was notified that part of the order was no longer available but the rest was dispatched. It didn't arrive in the specified time frame so after a couple of days I phoned "customer services" an automated series of menus which eventually told me to contact the courier. Eventually the courier declare it a missing item. Used web-chat to contact Curry's but it couldn't understand my problem, was eventually transferred to a human who was not very helpful. Then told i needed to wait for the 'lost in transit team' to contact me which would take upto 14 days. Then parcel turned up in less than perfect condition, and as i had already sourced alternatives from elsewhere I used the online form to organise a return and refund. I received communication from the courier (different firm to delivery) but nothing from Curry's, no return label or barcode to include in the package. I had to discover the return address from the very small and badly printed label on the original package. I will never shop in Curry's again and nor will i suggest anyone else goes there.

Can’t speak to a manager, went through to complaint team and they said we just log it we don’t respond to it. My tv will need sending away to be fixed and no replacement while I wait. I’ve reviewed your comments below and it seems they don’t get fixed anyway. I will never buy a tv from you again.

Purchased a hoover it broke down sent it for repair and it came back not repaired have written to them requesting a refund with no reply so will take to small claims section of the county court

Today I went to the Botley Road store in Oxford. The staff including the manager seem to be more interested in chatting to one another than serving customers. I won’t be returning.

Avoid at all costs. I will never use curry’s again. I have tried a few times and have been met with failure after failure. Awful customer service being passed from pillar to post. Ridiculous protocols and losing £100 worth my products I had paid for and then saying it could take two weeks to find out what has happened to it on top of the 3 weeks already waited, but cannot send out another one. Useless company. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!

🌟Avoid at all costs!🌟 I can’t believe how bad Curry’s have got after using the company for many years with no problems. I purchased a Kenwood cooker (it is their own brand who Curry’s make under licence!) during lockdown. With 2 key workers in my home I needed reliability. What a joke!! The cooker broke down after four months and we had to wait over 3 weeks to repair. It then broke down again after another 4 months with the same problem. It took over 2 months to get it fixed for the second time. The engineer even said this is a common fault and their elements only last 4 months as Curry’s use cheaper elements at £10 rather than £17 for a better replacement! Curry’s now state that their appliances need to break 3 times in the first 12 months for them to even “consider” a replacement! This is “their” warranty terms. I have lost faith in the cooker and asked for a replacement or refund which has been refused too. The emotional stress, constant telephone calls, the run around and outright lies that this company has come out with is unbelievable! I have been pushed around from pillar to post! I have lost so much sleep with the stress this has made me ill I have also had to spend so much more money on microwave meals during a time that has been stressful enough. I am going to inform Trading Standards and continue through their complaints procedures because this is shocking.

Awful awful awful!!!! I’ve waited in all day today for a washing machine. The driver called left a voicemail to say they’d arrive within 10 minutes. No one has arrived. We don’t have a washing machine now and they’re staying the driver can’t come back to install it. We had to pay did delivery too!! Plus extra charges for installation and recycling.

This review is about delivery service provided by Currys PC World. I had already two delivery attempts and still have no fridge in my kitchen. The first attempt took place on the 4th of May. The people who came with the fridge said that the door is too narrow and I have to pay for removing the fridge door to fit it through the door. Fair enough if you measure the space from the door handle to the frame, indeed it is not wide enough, however, a builder who was here during the delivery came up with an idea of removing the door, and then space is 72.5cm long, well enough to fit the fridge which is 66.9 cm deep. By the way, it is surprising that they did not have that idea themselves, you would think they should have some experience with this kind of situation. Anyway, I called your customer service and explained everything. It was just 5 minutes after the delivery van left, but I have been told they are already too for to return. I asked about rebooking. The second delivery attempt took place today morning. Guys who turned up here clearly knew something about the previous attempt. You could see they are here not to do the job but to try to avoid it, they said that the door space is too narrow even before coming to the garden, looking at the door and measuring the space. They said that the door is too narrow and they did not want to listen to me saying that I removed the door and now space is bigger. Finally, I managed to convince them to look at the door but they did not even know what are dimensions of the fridge! They kept arguing with me that the fridge is 76cm while it is 67cm, 66.9 cm to be precise. I just wasted my time again. Waiting for the delivery and this time also removing the door from the frame, but the delivery team did not come here to help but to argue and prove that I am wrong. Why they are so rude and unhelpful? Why they treat customers as enemies? This is unacceptable. I am a regular customer. I bought from them already two expensive TVs and this, also an expensive fridge. Everything was fine until I needed a delivery. The delivery service turned out to be a nightmare.

This company is a disgrace. Do not give this company your bank details.Never buy anything from them, online or in store. They have no customer service worthy of that title. They tell lies to you to avoid any refunds.

Ordered a Samsung American fridge freezer. They arrived with it today and said they couldn’t bring it into the house because it needed a 4 man team which the delivery company didn’t provide. (So why did they sell it to me and let me pay money for installation?) There were also some steps which they said they were not prepared to deal with. I had explained the layout of the property in the shop, even making a sketch. They said they could leave it at the door or I could find 2 people to help them ! Neither man was wearing a face mask. What sort of a company is this? I am now awaiting a refund and I shall go to John Lewis where I should have gone in the first place.

Curry’s is absolute rip off for the customers. Paid £40 to install Samsung Fride/freezer which includes taking all the packaging away but the delivery guys cleverly left all the packaging and rubbish in my front garden in a windy and rainy weather and it was flying all around. They were in hurry and unwilling to help with any questions about the new product. Customer service was unwilling to compensate saying the installation is complete which is a joke really. I have been customer for years but never now

I've order ps4 which wasn't working from a start. The return was a nightmare. Incompetent stuff. It has been 2 months and I'm still waiting for the refund. I had multiple calls with the company. I'll never buy from this company ever again. And I'll make sure I'll tell all my friends.
