In 2014 we bought a Beko dishwasher for £229.00 which was in the sale and was originally £379.99, we have been paying £6.99 per month insurance with Knowhow, 5 weeks ago the machine started to leak so we rang them and they arranged an engineer he thought it was the salt pot and said he would have to order a new one, 10 days later engineer no 2 came, he said it was not the salt pot it was something else and new part would have to be ordered, 10 days later engineer no 3, he commented that the machine was in excellent order for an old machine, but unfortunately that damage had occurred on the door from where the previous engineers had been pulling it out, also they had not connected the side panels back properly and as the machine had been tested during previous examinations, water had collected and caused rust to the bottom of the side panels, he also determined that the original leak was from a seal gone on the door, however due to the damage that had been caused to door and side panels, it was not worth the repair and so wrote it off, which was fine as it was insured, and thats where the trouble begins, the following week we received a gift voucher for £229.99?? not impressed we rang to enquire why we had received this voucher for that amount, thats how much you paid for the machine we were told, but we have paid just shy of £600 in insurance payments, yes but most of that covered the cost of the Engineer call outs...Hold on they buggered up the machine and its not our fault they sent 3 engineers over a 25 day period, to be told the Terms and Conditions state you will be re-embursed the price of the machine. So why have you continued to take our money? why have you not contacted us previously to reduce our monthly payments? That's the way it is the customer services guy tells us. So we trotted off to get another machine, The website states Fast, Free, Delivery on all machines. As suspected the machines now on offer for £229.99 we cheap nasty machines, and the machines of the same calibre and quality as ours are over £500, then to rub salt in the wound, none of the cheaper machines are available so we ended up having to pay an additional £100 to get a machine that was available, to then be told there was a £30 delivery charge?? but it says fast, free delivery, yes but the next available slot was not for 10 days and then there would be a £20 charge to take our old machine away. So our advice is do not take out their insurance as far as I am concerned they have taken our money under false pretences, I have written a letter of complaint and a customer adviser did ring, but again it was a tough nuts attitude, their hands were tied as they were acting within the terms and conditions of our agreement...What a load of hog trot...We have spent thousands with this company and their treatment of people once they have taken your money is disgusting...Shop elsewhere...AO, John Lewis, Argos but stay clear of Currys, it will only lead to disappointment.

Went on site ordered a washing machine very easy good price etc. Paid for delivery and around 14:30 on day of delivery got a message delivery cancelled. This is where problems started, delivery was rearranged without much trouble but remembered had paid for delivery slot, was I due a refund? Went on website again what a mess could not find any useful information. The online assistant can only answer questions regarding buying items all other queries are not understood. Tried the phone 6minutes 35 seconds to navigate the multiple choice options and get to correct department. Got a lovely bloke sorted me out immediately. Made disparaging comment regarding website and was to.d they get a lot of that. Try the online customer feedback he said, ok direct me to it . He couldn’t find it, heard him shout out to the staff no one else knew how to get to it. Try email gave me the email address this is start of reply Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: Your message wasn't delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, the recipient's email system refused to accept a connection from your email system. So the alleged to go to company for electronics cannot build a decent customer service website and can’t/ won’t accept email

Placed an order early september for delivery 14/9 took day off work had my door taken off for delivery to fit through..waited all day for a text for time slot..got to 5pm then tracked delivery ..wasnt even out for dispatch.so i ran currys takes about 10 mins to get through to speak to someone after listenening to loads of options ! Eventually speak to a very helpful person but was told my delivery wasnt booked in.i had the paperwork in front of me with delivery date !!!! The computer says nothing they can do just book me in again for another 2 weeks ! Cant speak to a manager..all working from home will be 24 to 48 hours for a call back..offered me £20 back but nothing else they can do for immediate delivery..ive emailed a complaint but double check you have a delivery due..the paperwork you get is useless if its not booked in but you wont know that unless it doesnt turn up...if the computer says no then nothing you can do ..poor poor service ..what makes me laugh is when you order you get sent a survey to answer..dont do it until your goods have been delivered on time

Called in store was told would have to wait . Not a problem however when we did manage to get help from an advisor whist going over to the product in store they met someone they knew and started to talk to them in the middle of helping us. Was then told we couldn’t do finance for items we had to order but did this in another store and have since learnt you can . So was given the wrong advice . Was also told couldn’t order a product but on line says otherwise . To sum up advisor not interested more interested in talking to friends than offer a service . Gave wrong advice and lost sale due to this .Bury store. Manchester .Also rang up spoke to call centre about issues .Requested call back from manager but we are still waiting for call back .

The customer service teams at Currys are either too poorly trained or constrained by policy to put customer satisfaction first. I have spoken to new fewer then four reps in the past week - both in store and over the phone, all of which had a different view on what their own policies and processes were. The only person (Andrea, phone) who even tried to help, was later described by Sally as being completely wrong. The combination of corporate inflexibility and at best forgetful, at worst - outright rude customer service, is that I will never buy anything from the Dixons Carphone ever again.

I love this company called Trovian Credit Repair i was scared to start because i was in the middle of preparing for surgery to have my first baby and seen a post with this company from one of the nurse about helping people repair their credit I text them immediately, they have the best experience in fixing credit. My score rise tremendously after they removed the student loans bankruptcy medical bills tax liens car repos i was so amaze with my current credit profile my score went up to 805 and my surgery went successful. I'd whole heartedly say stay away, go to AO instead. This company does not care about customer service. I like in a flat on the 3rd floor. The hallway is narrow and large objects are hard to get up stairs and around corners. I stressed this on 2 different occasions to 2 different representatives over the phone. They assured me the delivery drivers would carry it up the stairs and into my kitchen. When the delivery drivers arrived in their shabby Luton van, they said no, they only deliver to the door. And left my large fridge on the pavement. I then had to knock on a neighbour, luckily they helped me lift it up and in my flat. Had I been a old person I'd be screwed. I ordered a cooker from AO and I'd recommend them over currys any day. They delivered a cooker, no problem. They put it in my kitchen and installed it. The Luton van was AO branded and not some scruffy subcontractors van. Terrible company, I'd say order off AO, NOT CURRYS. Absolute cowboys.

Terrible customer service tried to contact curry's to see if needed to register my external hard drive but all I got was a recorded voice on all the numbers given would have bought elsewhere if I had known it was sutch appaling service do theirGuaratees need registering hopeless

obsolutley shocking customer service! our TV broke and were told it was too expensive to fix because apparently we it wasn't under warranty, we found out today, 3 months later after not having a TV so long and almost being over 2 thousand pound down, becasue we almost bought a brand new TV, that intact our TV is covered under the warranty until 2023! Not only that but when on the phone trying to sort it out, the man just hung up on my partner! We have no been helped at all and are angry & very disappointed!

Worst Experience and very bad service. I would not recommend buying a product from Currys PC. I bought Bose soundbar on 16th July, 2021 and it stopped working on 22nd August, 2021. When I went to the store they took the product for repairing. After 9 days it came back to store, I collected and connected it at home. However the issue was still there. When I went back to store, they informed me that it was sent to wrong repairing center and will be re-sending to Bose service center. They took 9 days just to know that it has been sent to wrong center and gave it back without checking the status or fixing. Now I don't have an option to track it and no timeline provided.

I brought a HP Pavilion laptop (model PAV 13/8/256 WHT) for £449 from Curry's in February 2020. The laptop developed a major fault in October 2020, which although I never caused it I was still made by Curry's to pay £250 to fix it. After at least two months during which they sent it back to me unrepaired on a number of occasions it was finally returned to me in January 2021 promising that it was in perfect working order. It subsequently developed another fault in April 2021, and has not worked since. I have effectively paid £700 for a laptop that has been largely not working. When I spoke to someone in Curry's they suggested that I had unfortunately been sold a 'defective' laptop. I recently contacted their Customer Support team and they informed me that I would need to pay an additional £60 to have the laptop looked at initially. I have already done this once, and am not going to do this again. They have taken enough money from me. I am a student, and simply do not have these funds to waste good money after bad. I also believe that they are making this delibately difficult in the hope that I will give up. I have now contacted consumer groups and newspapers (e.g. Sally Solves @The Telegraph) to complain about their appalling products and poor customer service.

Purchased a lap top 13 months ago. It’s now 1 month out of warranty and unrepairable. Curry’s staff were useless and didn’t want to know. Offered no options. I said to them , “so I’m just left with an unusable laptop then?” They just shrugged and didn’t seem bothered. They were quick to take my money when I purchased. Never using them again.

After ordering a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and fridge 2 weeks in advance, curry’s proceeded to deliver the order on the agreed date. After a call from the driver being 30 minutes away he then decided he could not deliver said products and cancelled the delivery without warning or reason. After going back and fourth with this company we agreed a date of Sunday to deliver all the items only to be told on the day they could only deliver the fridge and and dish washer. The only reason this is getting a one star is because I’m unable to give anything worse. Save your money and time and go to a company who can actually organise themselves. Worst customer service i have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs

Purchased £1800 TV showing in stock and paid for designated time slot delivery. TV went out of stock overnight. Two weeks on, the price reduced. Even though we didn’t have the TV delivered yet they would not price match because it was just over the 14 day period. Receipt date is the date you paid and not the date delivered, even when the item goes out of stock after purchase. Tried to deliver on all day slot despite paying extra for a set time slot. Took hours of calls and lies from online chat reps to get this resolved. 6 weeks on the HDMI ports stopped working. Was told an in home priority repair was possible and transferred to the repairs team who told me this wasn’t possible and the last rep had lied. New rep was rude. Online chat person told me we could get exchange despite being outside of 31 day period if I contacted LG myself to get the uplift number. I asked to confirm this was possible on two occasions and they said yes and even passed on the telephone number. Call LG the next day and they say only the retailer can get an uplift number and customers cannot do this. Call Currys back and despite being told all chat conversations are recorded, the chat had disappeared and as a result was told I must’ve been mistaken?! Said I could send screenshots but told all emails have been disabled and the only way to complain formally is in writing. Repairs team said LG do in home repairs so decided to go down this route instead. That evening, the whole TV cut out and would not switch back on. Called LG who said this was a main board failure and to check with Currys if they had any process in place if an item has two major faults within 6 weeks of purchase. Call Currys back and spend two hours explaining the situation back and forth between different depts to be told I should drive to a store to get them to call LG on my behalf. Drove to store and after queuing for 30 minutes was told that I had wasted my time as the rep was incorrect and the store cannot help. Store advised me to get the TV collected for repairs and returned within 7-28 days. No TV in this time and no money to buy a spare as we spent £1800 on this one! Repair guy hadn’t turned up so called support. For the first time was taken to the onshore call centre. Guy was rude and told me that I should just wait and i shouldn’t have taken the morning off to wait for the delivery as the van could’ve crashed and that’s why he was late. I explained we had no TV so went for the soonest option and when a text says ‘we will be with you between 9.20 and 13.20’ I would expect that to be accurate. The guy also told me I had been calling the wrong number?! If I had gone through to the offshore team each time. I quoted the number back to him and was told I must’ve selected the wrong options?! No, I selected the right options throughout. Constantly trying to pass the buck and being rude whilst doing so, despite the week of customer service hell created by Currys! Driver turned up 40 mins late, rude and arguing that we should have removed the stand as they do not remove them. We said we were not told to do this. Proceeds to carry our super thin £1800 65 inch tv out of the house with no packaging with the plug banging against the screen. No van was parked outside and they had parked on the next road!!! Walked like this putting down on concrete to get his grip and then his partner who should have helped him carry it was standing by the van. They then wrapped it on the floor. I called Currys to log another complaint on the file about this so that any damage made would be linked through to this absolute joke of a collection service. The man told me in order to get a response to a complaint (rather than providing internal feedback) I could do this online in the contact us section. Completed contact us form with details only to get a generic response saying they can tell I’ve spoken to someone since completing the form (I hadnt!) and no further action was needed. Avoid this company.

A company who is incompetent, does not respond to customers and missleads customers. I will not buy from this company again. See below for details I purchased a SMEG integrated dishwasher from Currys on the 9th July. We had to wait 4 weeks for delivery and installation. The installation appeared to go okay but the the last thing the installers did was to refit the kick board. When they left we discovered the dishwasher door would not open because of the kick board. It was actually lucky the dishwasher could not be used as the waste pipe had not been secured, which could have resulted in the kitchen being flooded. We then attempted to contact Currys but were directed to SMEG who could not help. It seemed impossible to speak to someone at Currys. We decided to call into the local store in Hamilton. The Customer Services person contacted the installation team who set a date for another 2 weeks to come and fix the problem they caused and offered to refund the installation cost of £90. I was also given an email address to contact customer service at HQ to try and get a quicker resolution. I sent two emails, both automatic acknowledged but no response to either. The dishwasher was fixed by two different installers who were amazed at the shoddy work of their colleagues. I returned to the store on two additional occasions were I was again promised a response and a refund which had to be dealt with by HQ as it was paid via Pay Pal. On the last occasion i was then told I could not get a refund but they would offer me a £15 voucher. A company who is incompetent, does not respond to customers and tells lies. I will not buy again from this company.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE After a response from Currys I sent all the details of this to them, needless to say I’ve not received acknowledgment or a reply to my email! I did get a text from TEAMKNOWHOW yesterday saying they’d be in touch as soon as they have a delivery date, this was after receiving a Text from CurrysPCW to say my delivery would be today, 24/08/21 I received another Text from TEAMKNOWHOW last night to say my delivery would be here Today between 07.45 and 11.45 and I could track my order by following the link, I did this as soon as I got up this morning to see that the Status was “Contact Needed” I called the number to be told that my TV wasn’t getting delivered today as it was currently showing as “out of stock” Another day off work for no reason, that’s 3 in total now costing me the best part of £900 as being self employed I don’t get paid if I don’t work! Just when you think this company can’t get any worse they manage to sink even lower, I would urge anyone who wants good customer service and a reliable service to GO ELSEWHERE to get their product! I’ll be going to the store today to cancel my nearly £3000 order! Ross F Utter Incompetence I went in store a couple of weeks ago to order my new 85” TV and Sound Bar and was told that the “delivery date” would be Friday 20/08/21 I sold my 65” Curved TV on Thursday the 19th and took the day off work to accept my delivery on the Friday, imagine my amazement when they only delivered the Sound Bar! On phoning the “Customer Service” number (don’t laugh) I eventually got through to be told that the Store had forgotten to give the delivery guys my 85” TV - I know, it’s an easy thing to mislay. I was then told the earliest they could get it to me was Sunday 22nd, I had no choice but to accept this, I turned down an overtime shift to be at home and accept my new TV only to receive a text on Sunday morning to say my delivery was coming on Tuesday 24th Again, I phoned “Customer Service” to be told there was nothing to say my delivery would be here on Sunday and was then asked, who told me that it would be Sunday Delivery? Basically calling me a liar as there was no record of my call to them on the Friday! I’m now going to have to take another day off work if I want my TV and being self employed this is beginning to cost me a fortune! I’m seriously thinking about cancelling my whole order, getting them to pick up the Sound Bar and taking my business to a company where I might get better customer service! If I could give zero stars on this review, I would!

I purchased a laptop some 5 years ago that came with a free trial of cloud. Then to find they had been chaging my bank account for 5 years after the trail period, under handed bordering on fraud don't get caught on FREE trials
