“I ordered a new Samsung Fridge Freezer at Currys in Poole. The representative in store was very informative about the item and went into great depth about the differences and functions between brands, After purchase he arranged delivery and installation of the new fridge freezer within a few days. Robin and Mikey installed my new Fridge Freezer and couldn't fault their expertise and professionalism. They aimed to please and wouldn't leave until I was happy with the installation, taking away all packaging and my old fridge. Thank you Currys, this is the second item I bought from you in the past year and definitely will not be the last.”

“We visited curry's pc world ( Branch Number 1805), at Ocean Retail Park in Portsmouth. We were looking to replace an old Dyson Vacuum cleaner.. We had looked online, at various Vacuum cleaners. But it is difficult to see them properly. So it was nice to come into the store, and see lots on display. We were assisted by a nice lady called Mary. Who was very knowledgeable, and was able to demonstrate, how they worked. she also allowed us to handle the machines. We didn't feel under any pressure, to buy. We ended up purchasing A Shark Lift Away. Which we are very pleased with. Mary's customer service was excellent, she is polite and friendly, and she is a real credit to your store.”

“I bought Acer Aspire 6 laptop which had a product information on Currys website "fast log in with Windows Hello". After I installed the system it turned out that this function is not available on the model (so the website lied). Contacted their customer services, they asked me to go to a local store, then local store asked me to contact customer services etc. No response from them to a few emails I sent them - they clearly do not care about their customers. All that matters is just sell, sell, sell. Very disappointing experience. Avoid Currys !!!”

“needed to buy a new under counter freezer. we were served by Billy at Kinnaird Park currys store. Billy could not have been more helpful. Lovely manner, polite, with a great sense of humour. We bought our freezer and went home vey happy.”

“680 pounds for a tv and the smart functions are extremely dark . Refused to do anything as it's been more than a month since purchase . Very upset . Avoid Currys!!!”

“DISGUSTING services, i was waiting all day not knowing when my fridge freezer n cooker were coming. Driver LIED about an event happening in my area claiming there was traffic but i drive my service and i had been out a few times and it was clear. He tried to reschedule it the next day i refused as i had work. The driver was just in a rush to finish work, when i tried to direct him he wasnt listening. APPALLING and i dont wish for anyone to go through this when you have spent your money on them. NEVER AGAIN”

“Excellent service in every way! Delivery was two days earlier than any other company could manage and, better still, on a Sunday. The price of our cooker hob was the same as John Lewis and was delivered exactly as we wanted. We are delighted with this service and will certainly use Currys again.”

“If i could give zero i would , a freezer didn't work from day one , got fobbed off til it was a month old then told I couldn't have a refund. There staff who cannot even string a sentence together (all "innit mate/bruv" types ) These clowns insisted I have an engineer out , who when he did come confirmed within 2 mins it was dead . Even then it took some massive effort for me to get my money. No comp for day off for engineer visit or day off for collection of faulty unit. £30 still to be paid for food inside (valued at £120). Had i got from Amazon a refund would have been made with no fuss this is why Amazon is the king of customer service and Currys is the bottom feeder - I will NEVER buy from one of their stores again and look forward to the day they close down. If you are in doubt try calling your local store , bet you cant find a local number .That should tell you all you need to know.”

“Went to buy a tv after deciding which one to have payed and had it loaded into my car but after returning home which is a 25/30 min drive I started to open the box which had already been opened and resiled the packet which had all the screws and bits in was already used and the tv had a scratch on the screen 😡 so phoned to complain said I had to return to the hereford store after spending all most an hour return trip in the car and loss of petrol money. And why it takes so long for a refund when it takes seconds to pay I don’t know not happy will be going else where from now on”

“I rarely spend my time on internet reviews, I tend to give second and even 3rd chances to companies/people, however this time is so bad I need to write about my experience. Bougth an INDESIT washer dryer from CURRYS online. 2 months old washer dryer , dryer it's faulty, it never worker. Engeneers booked 5 times in 3 weeks and never showed up. They just found excuses for not coming and check my washing machine, they do not want to work, they lazy and unhelpful. People at the phone/live chat unsympathetic. Hopefully tomorrow the 6th time will be the lucky one. Very bad customer service. PS Only because CURRYS is not helpful in taking back the washing machine, I would prefer to get an LG as I used to have, good machine and good customer service.”

“Reserved a washing machine on line as i needed it the same day, Traveled 18 miles to Hayes to get only to be told it was a display item and not for sales, asked to see the manager who was about as much help as a wet weekend! passed to an advisor who was told to search locally for a machine, non available.. no offer on any other machine, went to Euronics who were fantastic, why do i keep on using this useless shower, no more i am done with them!”

“The deal at the camera section for the CANON - PowerShot SX720 HS Superzoom Compact Camera & Travel Kit - Black was outstanding.The reason for purchase was 'impending holiday' and an unfortunate accidenta as I shut my current camera in boot /broke rear screen-this package was a one stop solution which PC Word excel at when you need it. “Typical large corporate company just out to get my cash. I need a fridge freezer and I’m only in for delivery on Sundays. Currys had a fridge freezer which could be delivered Sunday for a fee of £9.99 so I selected that day. Unbeknown to me, Currys then changed the delivery date to Tuesday when no by will be home. I call their customer services who said tough on you. They refunded me my money but it won’t be on my card until Thursday/Friday. Meanwhile I have no fridge freezer. Had I known they couldn’t deliver that Sunday, I wouldn’t of ordered and I’d have a fridge freezer. Be careful when ordering from Currys, you are not a customer, you are a cash point for the executives of the company earning megabucks.”

“I bought a gas hob and electric oven off curry's and also paid for fitting, there was a problem with the oven so they sent out an engineer to fix it, while there he caused a gas leak, he said that it wasn't his fault and left. My gas was turned off for four days while I tried to get them to fix this, so nothing to cook on, no gas, no water or heating as well because I couldn't use the boiler with the gas off and I have two small children, so we couldn't feed them properly, bathe them e.t.c. The eventually came out and fixed the problem, and I have a report to say that the gas leak was caused by there initial fitting as they had fitted the gas appliance incorrectly in the first place and again I have this in writing on an official report, curry's are now saying that they are not responsible for the obviously dangerous and poorly fitted items even though they fitted them in the first place! they also suggested that I pay for a third party to fix them personally. I have askes for legal details as I am taking this further and they will not provide them either. Not only is the workmanship poor, this could have caused danger to life and they seem not to be bothered at all of the danger they could have caused. Still not resolved.”
