“Nice cakes. Delivery service terrible. Customer service didn’t call “straight back”. Had to call back myself after two hours.”

“Due to the way your company changed the way they charge for delivery where I was originally in for a early afternoon delivery it was then put out to possibly end of the day with and from having an eta of around 12-2 I was then advised that nothing further could be done. I had to cancel my delivery and my wife didn’t get a birthday cake due to this. Overall I was very disappointed”

“Ordered the family hamper for my mother, unfortunately no Victoria sandwich arrived as described, instead a chocolate cake that wasn’t eaten. What a waste of money”

“The cake arrived on time and looked lovely. However the taste was disappointing, in fact it did not taste of anything. It was not really a nice treat to have for a celebration. The pictures looked great but no one was able to eat more than a polite spoonful. It’s a shame. I got it for my husband’s birthday and it was a disappointment. The layers were tasteless. Both the creamy part and the soft. The outer creamy layer was very beautiful but utterly tasteless. Not even sweet. It was like eating a piece of butter.”

“Product was tiny and very poor, long life quality (stale and dense) when we revived it (next day delivery). Very sad as the idea was good. Product was just really poor. I won’t be buying again”

“The cake was hard and tasteless and so disappointed with it. The petals on the cake had dried up and were chewy. On the whole a let down birthday cake.”

“Ordered the yuzu cake for my husbands 30th birthday. Usually we visit cutter and Squidge every so often for afternoon tea so was really looking forward to ordering a full sized cake for a small gathering. We were disappointed to say the least in the yuzu cake. Not only was it dry, it lacked the sweetness we were used to from past cakes we've eaten at the bakery. Husband is not even a very picky man and he couldn't even take two bites of the cake! Really let down as I've always loved the cakes at Cutter and Squidge and never tasted a cake this bad that even all our guests disapproved of. Sadly will have to look for another Bakery to order future cakes from. Cannot fault delivery and service though 5 stars for that 👏”

“We received the afternoon tea box and the cream was blue with mould - it was a gift for a grandparent so really disappointing. I have images which I’d be happy to share, the cream was in date so I can only assume it wasn’t sealed.”
