“Worst experience! Order cancelled one day before delivery for one item. For the second item, delivery not done and message sent that nobody at home. When tried contacting customer care, only robotic answers. Wish I had never bought from them”

“Avoid at all costs. Ordered 2 golf clubs, confirmed order, took payment plus £13 delivery charge. Couldn't fulfil order, sent only one. Had to reorder the second, which was showing as in stock . Still awaiting refund from first order a week after they cancelled it . Now find they have also charged me twice for the second order . In total they owe me £73. Abysmal. Order elsewhere. Will take your money, even for orders they cant fulfil, charge the earth for delivery and duplicate payments. Fuming”

“Prices are okay, quality is okay for what you pay. Do not expect any form of customer service however. Also they defaulted my payment method to Klarna (Which looked to me like a scam) and scared/confused me when I started getting messages asking me for payment weeks after I thought I had made one. This was my 3rd order, there may not be a 4th”

“I ordered a Vortex smart trainer the other day. They took money from my account and then three days later they said my order had been cancelled. I checked again today and the item is back in stock. They did refund me, but why do they keep opening up their stock to new sales when they can't fulfill their current orders. It's really stupid, I don't know any other online retailer which doesn't check whether their item is in stock when you order. I needed the item quickly and on time, so I have had to pay an extra £30 on eBay to get the same item second hand.”

“Awful.. Avoid at all cost items never arrived. Staff not apologetic. Was never offered a replacement. Then they stopped replying to my messages. No phone number to call. Avoid!!”

“Absolutely awful experience with this company today. Ordered item for click and collect when 4 items were showing in stock only to go and collect and find out the item had been reserved by somebody else, by phone and presumably unpaid for, whereas mine had been paid for and ordered online. Manager decided that the phone reservation took priority over my order because i hadnt recieved a click and collect confirmation. Had to travel some diatance to collect this item and now having to wait 3 to 5 days for refund. Ridiculous!”

“I orderes my bike from decathlon on 13 August and today is 24 August. My bike is not yet deliver and no change in online status. Customer service is also very bad. Big fan of decathlon but online service is too bad.”

“I love the products itself. However it is frustrating to arrive to half empty store in Oxford after 1h drive. Poor online availability and empty shelves. I'm after cycling accesories and components. It seems like the wave of road bikers came through Decathlon UK in the beginning of the season and shop has never recovered from it.”

“Customer service is absolutely atrocious. Had a rowing machine delivered with a manufacturing defect that has prevented its assembly. I've spent the past 4 days trying to get in contact with customer support and they haven't once told me when i'll be able to even talk to someone. They're just "very busy". I understand there's been an increase in demand but higher more staff to cope with it. I also work in CRM management and know you can easily change the prompt to say "due to a backlog we will get to your query withing 7 days not a few hours" set the right expectation instead of annoying people. I no longer trust that the company will stick to the warranty and am demanding a full refund. No one wants a half assembled rowing machine stuck in their lounge for 5 days. Absolutely atrocious, cant blame the poor people having to deal with the requests but management should be ashamed of the mess they are running.”
