This company profits from peoples love of the outdoors but promotes the shooting of songbirds selling bullets designed to kill thrushes, fieldfare blackbirds etc sick. A stupid move when your customers love nature hopefully they will all order elsewhere.

If i could give them no stars i would. sent wrong item and still no refund. DO NOT ORDER from here, took 2 weeks and still wrong and got to wait a minimum two weeks for a refund. SAVE your money and shop local

Ordered my quecha 3 person 2 second tent from this company the 28 the of June and received a used broken tent july 2nd. Opened the box and nothing was right about this tent the rods were broken, tent was torn, the connectors were scratched up, it wasn't the tent I ordered, had grass and dirt inside the tent! Used and not brand new well call on June 3rd and they discount me 40 dollars and was told they will priorities my tent. Called today July 7th and they have not done nothing was done I will not be ordering from this company ever again!

Soooo slow- ok many retailers are struggling and we have to give them some breathing space. A simple order of items in stock has taken three weeks to dispatch - I’ve given up waiting. Other mail order items are taking 2 to 3 days longer but not this length of time. They are very quick however to take the money from my account! Just waiting for the next Excuse for further delay......

Really just echoing what lots of other customers are saying on here at the moment: they are liberally cancelling orders because they can't keep track of their stock. I've been trying to get hold of gym equipment from Decathlon since the lockdown started 3 months ago. Of course these are unprecedented times and you have to make allowances to all retailers who are being forced to adapt, but Decathlon have been abysmal. After trying unsuccessfully to buy the items online every day over three months, I finally managed to reserve the items I was looking for when stores were reopened. Decathlon took the payment from my account and I made arrangements to collect them. Two hours later, I had a call from the store saying that someone in the store had bought the item so they had nothing left in stock. Given the delay in telling me about this, I'm assuming this is because they didn't take them off the shop floor right after they were reserved. That's the first order that was cancelled. In fairness to Decathlon, they gave me a £10 voucher as compensation for this. A few days later, I managed to order the same item online. I received confirmation from Decathlon and payment was taken. Again, two hours later I received an order cancellation email. After complaining to Decathlon I was told that this occurs because their online system allows too many orders to go through, and they only do a stock check after the confirmation email is sent out. I've been told there was nothing that could be done and there was no explanation of why they couldn't keep my money and send the items when they were restocked. It's bizarre that a multinational company worth billions of pounds hasn't got an IT solution to stopping too many orders going through. We've been in lockdown for three months now. It's even more bizarre that confirmation emails are sent out before the stock check. When you order an item, they send two emails - an order creation email, and later a confirmation email (supposedly after the order is confirmed). Why the stock check doesn't take place between these two steps is beyond me - it defeats the purpose of a 'confirmation email'. The must be cancelling thousands of orders every day because of this. In short, you might as well not bother trying, because even if you manage to get an order confirmed, it's not actually confirmed.

I have placed an order and paid, they have canceled it one day in advance, and locked my money for 7 days. I cant use MY money to buy a bike from a different provider plus they haven't delivered on the confirmed order. DIsgreisful

Cancelled an order 7 days after payment and just before delivery due to it "being out of stock". How can a company this big not keep back stock for completed orders?

Ordered and paid for an expensive item. They told me it was despatched but it did not arrive on time. I got in touch to enquire about delivery and within a very few minutes they confirmed it was lost in transit!!!! I have never come across a courier who could trace a package that quickly! I don’t think they ever sent it. Offered a replacement order but only on 7-10 day delivery - they refused to consider faster delivery so I took a refund. Two weeks wasted! I will never shop there again

Shocking order cancellation It is a disgrace to cancel the order days after it was placed online with 'out of stock' message less than 24 hours prior to the delivery date. How can a company with this size not have a system to flag an item out of stock if someone else bought the item at the particular time. Usually, you supposed to offer your customer an alternative product, even if it was a more expensive item (the retailer covers the price difference) since this is not the customer fault. I placed the order because I wanted it on that particular time, otherwise, i would have chosen a different retailer or seller. I am definitely not using this retailer any more

Excellent professional service from Serji at High Street Kensington Decathlon Store. When online order of boys scooter didn’t arrive had to hurriedly find replacement for Grandsons birthday. He saved the day and provided first class service. He is a real asset and restored some of my faith in Decathlon after online service had let me down.

ordered a bike , wrong size and after many mess ups they promised compensation for the mistakes but instead just refund when I wanted what I ordered beware delivery is floored customer service unobtainable ... im going to trading standards and consumer watchdog on this product was great just never got correct item..... queries resolved NEVER!!!

Decathlon uk: Your service is awfully bad. Spending several nights in front of my computer (AT 11 PM!, only option you offer) trying to get a slot to complete a purchase and by 11.00 everything is already out of stock! I understand there is huge demand, but this is a joke and a total waste of time! I thought this was a serious company. Feel completely disappointed.
