i ordered rugby boots for the present, came without orginal box and half size bigger than i ordered... not really good present. Price was cheeper than anywhere alse

Item's were labelled wrong size. Returned items had to wait a week for a refund which I got when I emailed to find out what was happening. Customer service is POOR, if you need to return items.

Staff are lovely, however management jonathan in particular is severely lacking in manner and grace. Based on my experience with him i would not recommend dealing with decathlon as he threatened to never refund me again after returning a faulty bike, which the bike technician acknowledged was faulty!

1) I had a problem with faulty tees , it took 6 months for a reply and a promise of replacement , still waiting 2 months later 2) I had to chase up a refund for an item that I gave back in at the store , doubt I would have got at all if I hadn't chased

Dispatch date was 3-4 days after the advertised date. This pushed back the delivery date which meant I was not able to receive delivery and had to drive out to collect my package from the delivery company's collection point. Disappointing experience.

Very poor service in the store, delivery information was vague, as e result my mother in law spent 2 days waiting for s delivery that didn't come!!!

Although the website stated a paticular item was in stock a week after I placed the order I received an email that my order was still not on it's way as a particular item was out of stock. I followed directions to change an item on my order after several attempts at trying it eventually seemed to work! First time shopping with decathlon and probably the last! Seem like quite a lot of bother just to receive clothing that was too big!

Worst service I've ever had. Took about a month from order to delivery in all, and on two occasions I was told a week then two weeks that the items I'd already paid for were out of stock. Spoke to customer service on 2 occasions and no compensation was given

You can't order his online without being forced to sweet up an "account" and being given a "card", and are then bombarded with several emails. I was asked for more details and personal information than I wanted to give, simply to purchase goods. There is no obvious way to then cancel that "account" later. For a one-off purchase, you then have no way of knowing how long Decathlon will keep your data for, and whether in future it may ever end up being vulnerable and hacked. Generally it seemed like bad practice, and greed over asking for more personal data than necessary to carry out a sale.

There is the option to opt out of a loyalty card or switch this off after the account has been created. I have ordered 2 products online. In short I had to chase for delivery. Never received them. Never had explanation what happened. Had to ask for compensation. This was my fort buy. Extremely disappointed with it all.

The time given to collect an item when purchased on line is not long enough. The decathlon that is local to us is over 30 miles away and so not always within the 5/7 day limit of picking up orders

Very Disappointed with collection process as it didn't say anything about a time limit to pick up goods when I ordered them. First I got an e-mail to say I had 5 days to collect , then 3 days later I was told my order was cancelled as the deadline had expired even though the goods only came to Belfast stock 3 days earlier. So I had to bring forward another meeting to accommodate the pick up by Wed 9th Dec as I live about 33 miles from Belfast. Whilst I was there another man had the same compliant. Anthony Boyle

On this email it states you have 7 days to collect this and this information is also available on the click and collect pages on our website. In early November I ordered a Petzl Nao head torch (order DCUK2027923 on 5th November). It arrived quickly but the battery refused to charge up. I returned it (exchange order DCUK2032157 dated 16 November). This head torch also arrived quickly but again the battery refused to charge. This time I opted for a refund. I was very disappointed that the both batteries failed to charge as the previous month my partner had ordered a Nao and it worked fine. The worst aspect was having to pay the cost of 2 returns despite the product being faulty. In addition there was no contact telephone number to call for customer support. I doubt I'll try Decathlon again.

2 out of the 3 pairs of shoes they sent were the wrong size after quick correspondence with them they said they didn't stock the size I ordered so the they did give me a refund

Product was good and met expectation - but was delivered by one person in a small van. The delivery weighed 50 Kg and the delivery driver expected my wife to help him lift the large package - he had no trolley or other means of delivery. Therefore my wife had to either refuse the delivery or help the driver. She helped - but not without subsequent back pain for the next few days. I suspect the issue is with the courier rather than Decathlon directly.

Whilst you guys did react quickly in replacing a faulty item the replacement was also broken in the exact same way. Because I needed to use it and the awkwardness of getting a very heavy item back to where it would be collected meant I I didn't return it a second time.
