Great product and web site is easy too use but dont be fooled by 'Click & Collect' being a quick service though to save you time - you are expected to queue up in Decathlon Reading with folk making instore purchases when there is only 2 people on the till despite the long queues

One pair of kids shoes was dusty with some marks so had to mipe it, the rest of delivery was good

I find decathlon offer great value for money particularly on their choice of bikes. However, I will never again order with them online again and their customer service (aftercare) was awful. I was sent the wrong sizes and when I asked to exchange was told the new item would be sent when mine was received. After sending the item back and obtaining proof of postage, the replacement item did not arrive. On questioning this, the customer service advisor was rude to me and only after scanning in my receipt and sending it to them was a new item posted. I received the correct item 3 weeks late and with no compensation.

Although we paid for express delivery within 2 days, it didn't arrive. Then they gave us a new date and it arrived 2 days before that date....was all confusing and annoying.

However, DHL (the company that dispatched your order) can provide an estimated delivery date that differs within two days from the real one. That is why your order was delivered as you mentioned. Children's clothes were really good value in the sale, but beware the sizes come up EXTREMELY small. My son usually wears Age 4 clothes, but everything I ordered for him is now being worn by his 22 month old brother! Also, I ordered a red fleece, which when it arrived was very definitely pink. Ordering and collecting/ returning in store were all easy.

The air tank was damaged when I picked it up from the store - they reduced the price and told me where to get it fixed - I accepted as I wanted to dive that weekend.

My overall buying experience at Decathlon was quit good up until my last purchase When I was quit disappointed from one of the products. I wrote a review on Decathlon web site regarding that particular product but the review was never published and totally ignored by Decathlon.

Bike excellent. Delivery though was meant to be to Bury, Lancs but ended up at Heathrow! Frantic calls had to be made as this was a birthday present. Got it couriered up in the nick of time.

I bought a bike from Decathlon and although the delivery was fast my bike turned up with no peddles, the handle bars put on backwards and the wires pulled out from the back dynamo light. The bike is otherwise quite nice but I was a bit disappointed for the price.

The website and items available we very good but delivery took a week to the store, I thought this was very poor as it was fishing bait so nothing bulky.

I ordered some fitness equipment online and when arrived in store (Walsall) they were delivered. I collected the box and when I got home and opened the box all of the balls (10) were damaged. I was disappointed with wherever the equipment was brought from to get to the store. I was disappointed as I got them on the sunday ready for my class on monday which was then disrupted due to a lack of care and attention on packaging! When I went back I ordered another lot online in store but had to wait for these to come in, I then received an email saying they were out of stock! I then had to wait even longer for replacements which I have now received almost 2 weeks after I got the original delivery. I just think that if the service and care was taken the first time I would not have had to order them twice, the Walsall store apologising as it was not their fault and my class on the monday would have gone ahead, I had to cancel it and therefore lost income! Mixed experiences. I placed an order and received the wrong parcel. Then, the collection service did not arrive on two occasions and I had to take the wrong parcel to the local store. The customer service, however, is quite good and polite sorting up all the issues quickly.

Poor info on sizing. Many products do not show UK size so guess work needed. Return products apparently not received meaning replacement items not despatched and online account only says order "under preparation." Suspect disorganisation and poor tracking systems in returns dept. Online system requesting proof of postage by uploading scanned receipt does not work. Phone operators helpful and resolved issues quickly but many problems with online systems. Reluctant to purchase again.

Range of colours for Fitbit and available sizes was very small (2 colours for charge hr and only one colour in small size) Took a week to dispatch which meant my delivery was over a week til it was delivered

I was very pleased to find an excellent entry level bike for my wife in the Triban 520 however the customer experience at Decathlon could be improved. We made the order online together and paid with her credit card. I received a confirmation that the order was placed and waited for the item to arrive in two days. When it didn't arrive after 4 days, I rummaged through my email to find one saying "Request information for your order DCUK2361551" that then informed me "We regularly carry out checks on the identities and billing addresses that we are sent. This is in place for the purpose of protecting our customers from fraud." request two pieces of ID. When I called up to find out the problem, there was a mismatch between my name and my wife's name on the credit card, fair enough, but why email something that is holding up a £500 order...wouldn't you phone the person? Couldn't change the credit card so then had to cancel and reorder and was told "Your estimated collection date is the 11/06/16". We live a distance away from Croydon so can only get there at the weekend, arrived at 2pm on the day to be told the bike hadn't arrived....the collection date was only 'estimated'. Fortunately as we were leaving we took a look at the bikes, got chatting to the mechanic and discovered that the bike was in but hadn't been assembled....he was working on it on the stand in front of us! The mechanic and the till staff were excellent but the process of managing the customer by email could be improved and brought into line with other online operators. Nothing Decathlon did was technically wrong but because the style of communication I presume is adapted from the way they do it in France, it is not suited to UK users...I would expect a problem with my credit card to be flagged in big red letters not 'request information', I expect the delivery date to have a time on it, otherwise I expect it to be the earliest the store opens on the said date, otherwise only tell me when it is in, particularly for click and collect when you know people are making a journey.
