Normally Decathlon is one of my favourite shops! The actual processing of orders is efficient, informative & rapid. However ordering footwear is a real problem as two of my orders blipped back to the smallest possible size in the range. Order a size 8, get a 2.5? There is no 'edit order ' function so twice I have had to collect simply to return the items. I gave up at that point with staff simply stating they would inform online sales team. Pity that was as far as it got, lost sales for Decathlon.

The swimming robes were delivered quickly but mine has faded badly in patches

I have seen a bike i would like but you have sold out on my frame size you say you will e mail me but it has been months now and still nothing how long does it take off you to get new stock in the summer will be over soon

I found the sizing very different from anywhere else and therefore ended up sending my item back twice before getting the correct size. Returns is not the easiest I've ever dealt with!!! However the tennis clothing g that I bought was good quality and I'm very happy with it.

Recently bought a triban 540 road bike. Mixed service in all honesty. Ordered online and delivered to store. Went to store to pick up and guy on checkout dragged the box from a room nearby and back to till. I was then told I had to take the box to a guy at the back of the store to be put together. I don't think he smiled once and I don't think he should be expecting the customer to drag a box through the store. The guy who eventually put it together was quite helpful and knowledgable. Unfortunately I had a problem with the gears not being indexed properly - ie chain slipping and not sitting cogs correctly. Took bike back to workshop and was asked to leave it and call back. Again no smile and just got the feeling I was causing an inconvenience. Any picked bike up from workshop and no attempt at an explanation as to what the problem was and was passed off as 'oh it just needed a slight adjustment'. Turns out it STILL was not satisfactory and I ended up paying £20 at a local bike shop for the bike to be properly indexed and to have a new cable (as the one on the bike was frayed - yes, on a new bike!). The bike itself is now great, really pleased, which is more than I can say for certain aspects of Decathlons customer service.

Nothing extra-ordinary. Rather inconvenient in that if you pay online with Amex, they cannot make any refunds on your Amex card in store. Nothing to do with online, but the physical store is seriously understaffed so if you click and collect, it takes forever to collect and if you should need to make a return then you are there for an eternity.

I brought a camouflage hoodie from you store near to lakeside but had a question about the product as to wether they did the matching trouser to match and no one was really any help and was told to look online, after purchasing item and getting it home 100 miles away the site didnt show anything similarand so i had to message someone via facebook who told me that there was a matching pair, so i brought them and they dont even come close to matching, so i now own a jumper and trouser set in totally different camouflage styles... Never again will i shop there agian..... Lesson learnt..... No help what so ever

Ordered a pair of Aigle wellys that turned out to be too small so had to send them back to exchange for a bigger pair. Unfortunately, I had to pay the return postage of over £8. Neither pair came boxed, just in plastic post bags. I ordered a similar pair for my wife from another online store. They came in a proper box with a free return slip.

I ordered bike online.came to pick it up with reference number.as soon as they have heard my foreign accent they called another guy and I was asked another documents to proove I order that bike and it took very long. I felt very uncomfortable as a thief.

The staff in store certainly DO NOT go out of their way to provide good customer service. I find most of them less than helpful. The website, however, is good with the phone line staff being as helpful as possible. It is a shame that the web stock can't be sourced from stores when items are out of stock.

Excellent website, although I'd improve on explaining what the items are. For instance I bought some panties, but these were way too big. Also I bought some flip flip "uppers" but I thought these were "whole" flip flops. It costs too much many to sent back, so I didn't. Hence I'd buy again only if I am sure about the items, for instance I have used them/same size before. That is why I only put a *** review, not for the quality of the products, which would deserve more - if only you could buy them easily.

The product i ordered was very good and of value, but the guide for how to measure for sizes and then what i received were correct as on the site but far too small for the size of my foot. I appreciate for it to work its got to be tight but it was even too tight to get half way on, i showed the site, dimensions to a physiotherapist who agreed that i had ordered correctly as directed to make sure and she couldnt get it on either, so in the end i told her to give it to anyone it would fit. To make it clear i have to point out that i had a stroke last yesar and thought it woulld be ideal, but i was wrong on this occasion, the product is good, but the sizing to me is what should be looked at especially if partially restricted as well by an illness.

Quick delivery. Trainers as described except the laces were a different colour as on site. Called and spoke to someone and I could have returned them but more trouble than it is worth. I will buy some more laces.
