“I’m from Michigan, my items are being shipped to California, intentionally! Seller store is no longer open, Not only that, I contact DHgate customer service and was told the parcel was in route and that the seller was upgrading his store so now, I have to sit here and wait till the send my order to the wrong address before I file a claim. I will never order from this site again.”

“Scams glore and a "customer service centre" for decoration purposes. I purchased 8 items from different Sellers, only 1 actually arrived. ALL OTHER SELLERS provided me with FAKE TRACKING NUMBERS, so the "items" were all recorded as delivered. Sneaky and illegal. customer service experience was just as bad, lots of chatting---- still waiting for my 2 refunds to clear on my card. DHGate has not offered refunds on the other scam purchases.”

“Always look for a seller with 95 % or over POSITIVE FEEDBACK and atleast 5 years membership on DHgate and too cheap is fake seller so never buy from selling item very obvious too cheap. Always read product description and that it matches the Product name. When buying leave your shipping address in the message to seller box.”

“I'm loosing $206.29 on this site. Two fake tracking numbers and no order. Received a message with refund done but didn't receive nothing. Now I was said “the seller doesn't have enough funds on his account that is he reason why you didn't receive the refund”. The site says — you always get the money because the seller only get it after you get the order. JUst Lies”

“I ordered an acoustic guitar, similar to that of a Martin D45. I requested that all details referring to made in USA to be removed from the guitar and also the Martin headstock logo (Photo 1, which I had replaced with my own design (photo 2). This was agreed on and the guitar once delivered was excellent after I set it up to my requirements. This was a guitar ordered from China to my specifications and in no way can it be sold on as a Martin D45. A real D45 will cost around the $9000 mark, whereas my one was under £300. The quality and sound from the instrument is amazing for the price; and yes, you may have to make a few adjustments, but that is to be expected for the price. When I took the guitar to my local luthier, he said there was no way he could even buy the wood to make the guitar for what it cost. Given time, I think the Chinese will do to the guitar industry what the Japanese did to the motorcycle industry back in the 70's. One Chinese seller is making guitars and putting their own logo on the headstock; so you are not buying a guitar with a copy logo (Gibson/Fender etc). These models are "Starshine" guitars and have been given good reviews on U tube, check them out. Will be purchasing a semi hollow body Starshine guitar myself. When buying through a seller, you need to check their feedback; as there are some good reputable sellers who supply really good products and some not so good.”

“I have not had a good experience whatsoever with DHgate- it is a webpage full of scammers, and a Customer Service 'live chat' that only 'window dresses' the issue. Over the spam of about a month, I purchased 8 or so items from DHGate- only one arrived. It's been well over 2 months and I am still being told to wait to the items to arrive. The Sellers ALL provided me with 'used' tracking numbers- meaning the item I thought I was tracking along it's journey to me, was actually an item which belonged to someone else---headed somewhere else. Example: I reside in the Toronto area in Canada. One of my item was delivered in a town in Northen Alberta, and one other item to Vancouver. Canada Post assured me the address on those packages was in the cities they were delivered, and encouraged me to FILE A CLAIM WITH DHGate. DHGate, when I raised the issue with them, actually asked me if I had 'called my Post Office'. When I told the DHGate Customer Service person that 'my' Post Office is in the city in which I live- it was then put on me to 'contact The Seller'. What a joke! DHGate finally agreed two of my orders were actually for non-existent product, and claimed they processed two full refunds. I never received either refund. When I REPORTED IT to DHGate's Customer Service, I was told to 'contact the number written on the back of your card'. MORAL OF THE STORY: Don't buy anything from DHGate.com.”

“This is my last order from DHgate , there is absolutely no way of getting your money back . The “after sale dispute” page doesn’t work so you are unable to submit a claim . The problem is that the sellers know this and have little to no obligation to send you anything or as in my case send you a tracking number for somebody else’s parcel . You can literally send 20 people the tracking of one parcel and bypass DHgate’s child like system This is 150 miles away from my address and the post code is for the sorting office. “Do not order from this site. Damaged items are sent from seller, refunds are challenging and impossible. DHgate refuses to help in anyway other than make you go through long process before finally, directing you to contact the seller directly, despite you informing them the seller has ignored attempts to reach out. Terrible terrible experience.”

“Please Do Not Order Anything From This Site! I ordered 6 items and did not receive one of them. All items but one were sent to other states. I received only false tracking numbers for my money and time. DHGate is a legitimate site for false sellers who make money from advertising products they do not have. Please!!!! Save your money, don’t waste the Gift of time and effort hoping to get a cheaper price from a den of liars and corrupt sellers. I explained this to one representative that stated: we are just the middle man. I told him, their site is a host for thieves.”

“It's been a year since I ordered few items and still didn't get it. My first order was ok, but after I continued to order more, some I received and others not. I'm very unhappy with their service, although they have beautiful things to sale, it can't be trusted.”

“I have placed an order with Dhgate over a month ago and I have still not received my order. I went to the customer service website to make a follow up and they provided a link for me to follow. However there isn't a movement at all, only when I make a follow up status is updated. Now status reflect goods arrived in my country and was cleared out of customs since the 24 of September 2019. I made another follow in terms of when the goods to be delivered to my address and I was told they will follow up with the merchant and status was made that I need to be patient, to date I still have not received my order.”
