“i ordered basketball shoes, and go socks only(?). there is no customer service in DHGATE. they have "live chat" option, but it never works, and you only get to talk with very poor BOT (most questions it will answer the same answers, or completely irrelevant answers). only after this happen, i found out that this seller has done this scam to several other customers. which brings the question - why does DHGATE let's scammers sell "products" in their website. bottom line - beware of DHGATE! most chances are that you are being Scammed! Update - as you can see below, the reply just keeps saying the same things... the live chat is not working, and no one from customer service is answering my messages... clearly you put the effort in responding bad review... zero care for the customer itself. shame on you.”

“Placed one order with them for a total of $55.20 they charged my card the $55.20 and then another $110.40 double the amount they wont return money had to cancel card and file claim then found out today another one of my credit cards that I dont use was also charged $55.20 from DH gate ..and had to close that account as well..not sure how they got that credit card info..checking rest of cards in morning..BEWARE!!!!!!”

“Had a great experience with DHgate. I almost didn't order based on the bad reviews here, but took a chance because price was great and I couldn't find the item (World Baseball Classic jersey) elsewhere. Figured worst case I'd lose $31. To my surprise, nice quality jersey arrived ahead of schedule. I guess one's experience depends on the seller, but my seller (Milkjerseystore) was excellent.”

“The shipper Utakata took my money and never shipped the item. I ordered shoes November 29, 2018. It is now January 7, 2019. I still not received the shoes or the money back for the order. Scammers. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!”

“Really cheap bad quality merchandise. Misleading by buying New but qhen the seller send me a message they sated copy. I asked for refund as soon as I got my stuff. I took pictures and email them. But if you don't submit sufficient evidence they would close the dispute immediately. I was mislead. They are a third party for sellers in China. I contacted the seller too as the company asked me to. He requested for me to send pictures but there waa no option to submit them to him. It was just a long process. I contacted my credit card company which they back me up with in 24hrs and refunded the credit. The company email me and asked me to ship back the stuff. Do they really think I'm going to be paying to ship these stuff to China? Specially for something that went straight to the garbage. This was back in October and they still disputing with my credit card company. I know better next time. January 2019”

“This was the worst service I have ever experienced with any order I have ever placed! I had ordered an outfit for Xmas. When purchasing it stated the package would be delivered within 2 weeks. I received it a month after the order was placed. Then when I received the order, the outfit ran sooooo small. I ordered an xtra large and it could have fit a child. When asking the seller how to return the item, he never responded. Big waste of money. Beware of this site!!!”

“Tried to buy something and at checkout it said my card info was incorrect. Reentered info and same message. Then i get text from bank detecting fraud. They ran my card 8 times and even though website sd it had faiked it had not failed. They had withdrawn charges 8 times. I got on phone with bank and they were still charging for different amounts. 4 times more than my purchase”

“STAY AWAY FROM THIS BS SITE!!! I ordered a pair of boots from this site and I've gotten nothing as far as a tracking number or any communication what so ever.. they took payment on my credit card though.. I'll be canceling that card asap”

“So, I have been fighting with one of the sellers on Dhgate for almost 2 months now. I'm over it! They sent me a "prom dress" that first off is made for someone who is 6ft tall, it is sewn very crooked, the top is to large! I gave my measurements and they still botched the dress! I have been trying to contact the seller and also managers, but they keep dodging the situation! I tried cancelling the dress before it was even shipped to me, and they told me if I cancelled I would have to pay a material loss fee?! When I asked how much this would be they ignored me! I'm so disgusted with this company! It's going to cost so much more to get it fixed! Very unprofessional and the customer service is a joke! I will never shop on this site again! I will not reccomend this site to anyone! Dont get ripped off by company's like this!”

“I would give them a negative stars if it was available. I ordered 3 pantsuits. They were horrible to deal with. The pantsuits were the worse made clothes I have ever seen. They charged me twice for each suit. The quality was awful. I’m still trying to get my money refunded. Take my advice... don’t order clothes made in China... I would order their stuff even if it was free.”

“I ordered from this website e-cig atomizers from what was a so called highly reputable firm. However the items we received were broken and not manufactured correctly as the bases would easily separate. To make matters worse the items were not marked as fragile and most of them are damage from shipping. We have tried to get a refund but the company does not provide us with one so far (over 3 weeks now) and i would recommend NOT doing business with the website. The reviews appear to be FAKED! Save your money and aggravation and DO NOT DO BUSINESS ON THIS WEBSITE!!! Unsatisfied Shopper”

“I order 5 items in November 2018 for $100 aprox. By the 1st of January i have received 1 item in December 16th which was not what i ordered and have heard mothing of the other items. This site is fraudulant due to suppliers. Buyer be very ware! This is not a trusted site”

“My young son ordered a $465.11 USD motorcycle fairing from a DHGate seller (Charles auto parts) 11/15/2018. The sender sent the wrong (graphics) item. He has been trying to return it and get a refund for 3 weeks all he gets is the run around from DHGate and the seller. They refuse to resolve the issue. Their customer service "Chat" is not functional. The seller responds with things like "You nice man. You keep, we send you free gift and $50 USD. Or "too bad box too big, look very nice, you make fit" It is an obvious SCAM! NEVER DO BUSINESS with DHGate! I wish he would have seen the 81.94% 1 star reviews before he did business with them. It's a very expensive lesson for a kid. We finally took it up with our bank. We'll see.”
