“I bought a bike from them and within 200km the whole thing started to fall apart. It wouldnt work in the rain. Bolts sheared off. Gaskets failed. Exhaust fell off, i could go on... This was all after it had been to an approved garage! When asking for warrenty claim they fobbed me off by blaming their own recommended mechanics. Eventually took them to court and got my money back. Stay well away from these people. They want your money and then they vanish.”

“I got a bike on Aug this is a follow up sent in papers to dvla got them back over the nova number well thanks to direct bikes they sorted it got a email of dvla saying it's done after 2wks paper work gone in for reg this week I can say direct bikes have helped me throu out this thank you”

“we brought a bike for my son to go to college, after trying to regester it with the DVLA they sent all paper work tell us we needed a NOVA ref number before we could continue, after 2 weeks of try to get this from direct bikes , we have got nothing no help.. so we have a bike we can not use unhappy to say the least”

“Having ordered a scooter, we decided to cancel five days later (before the scooter arrived), and so cannot rate the quality of their scooters. However, having cancelled our order by email, we received a full refund two days later. Some reviewers have said they struggled to get a refund, so we thought it only fair to point out that our money was refunded promptly. Direct Bikes get four stars as communication could be a little better. Also, the website says three day delivery, but reading the small print it appears delivery could be anything up to 30 days. We didn't want to wait that long.”

“Direct bikes is the worst company ever. Do not purchase a scooter from this organisation. The after care is non existent. Under the terms of your warranty you are required to get your scooter serviced after 300 and 1000km. Most scooter/motorcycle centres wont touch DBs because they are rubbish so you have to use the list of authorised agents provided by DB. Several times I have attempted to contact my DB mobile scooter service person and they have been unavailable. DB simply say they aren't responsible as these are independent agents. Bish bosh. Not interested”

“I placed an order with this company without doing my research. Not like me. I first became alarmed when they would not confirm a delivery date, despite me asking 4 times. When I tried to call the number on their web site, it is not connected. So I did some looking into their registered company. There is a different number linked into this. So i called it 18 times over 4 days, with the longest time i left it ring out was 25 minutes. I tried both the customers service and order line. No answer, not even a voice mail option. Communication by Emial.. They must be on a quota, as no mater what time i Emailed them it took them over 24hrs to reply, and you get absolutely no reply to your question they simply do not answer it or go around it. They constantly asked me to give them information that was supplied on the original order, like contact number, Land line etc. Each time delaying the process by another day. The best is that they MUST have a land line.Without one they can not deliver. I do not have one. So they said it did not mater it could be any Land line even work. SO WHY DO THEY NEED IT if it could be any.... I add that there is no mention of this during the ordering process or in their Terms. In the end I gave them my works number. In the end after 8 days (bearing in mind i payed for 3 day delivery) i decided to cancel the order before i breached my 14 day period. After this i got a lovely Email saying "You had failed their security test and they had canceled my order......." I have had bikes 4 times this price delivered to my home. After reading reviews on this company I am glad, I will not go into to these but do some digging before you buy form these, there where investigated by the BBC in 2015, and there is a string of worrying safety issues. I would not do business with these nor recommend them to anyone.”

“My wife bought a scooter from here some years ago and loved it. The scooter was very good for the money and reliable, cheap to maintain and run. She then did her CBT and got a 125 and again - it's done the business. They are always super helpful and flexible and now 2 other people in my wifes office have got a scooter from here and they seem v happy too. Would recommend to anyone.”

“I was ordering my first bike and over here in Belfast there wasn’t a lot of choice. After a very rude experience in a local store i came across the direct bikes. I was a bit dubious to say the least ordering online for a scooter but i took the risk and did it, only to have all my fears cast aside. They were an absolute pleasure. They contacted me about picking a better bike as the Viper 125cc was out of stock. They suggested the Cobra 125cc and i can honestly say I’m glad as i absolutely love the bike. They kept in contact with me throughout, nothing was ever any trouble and i would like to say thank you for helping make my first bike purchase go smoothly. “Very happy with my new scooter! After being really impressed with the scooter my friend purchased in early 2015 from these guys, i decided to buy one for myself, and having passed my driving test before 2001 i could hop on a 50cc scooter without having to take any sort of test! The company is very friendly and helpful and explained everything i needed to know, and also recommended insurance companies which turned out to be much cheaper than i expected! Having covered nearly 300 miles on my new 50cc retro bike i can honestly say i'm delighted with both the way it looks and sounds and am very impressed by the overall build quality. I would certainly recommend them to anyone considering buying a new bike or scooter, and will certainly be buying my next bike from them when i decide to upgrade! Great stuff!”

“We spent hours looking for a scooter for our 16 yr old son. I came across direct bikes website and was very impressed with the prices. I would recommend any parent looking for a scooter to give them a call. They were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. I ordered the 50cc Sports Scooter on a Saturday morning and it was delivered on the Wednesday. Very easy stress free service. They also recommended an insurance company. Our son is delighted and all his friends are asking where we bought it. I have peace of mind that it has warranty as my brother in law bought a 2nd hand scooter for his daughter and has already spent over £500 to get it back on the road and it still keeps breaking down. If you need a scooter don't look anywhere else these guys are brilliant.”

“First Found Them In T&G Magazine When Was Thinking About Getting Back Into Riding. Midlife Crisis !!! Honestly Have To Say Really Can't Recommend The Guys Enough Really Great Friendly Service Purchased My Sports Scooter 50cc Then A Year Later Cruiser 125. Had Both Bikes Regularly Serviced And Any Teething Problems. Nothing Was To Much Trouble.
