“We bought a magic band less than 2 years ago, we used it 2 days. Now we have spent thousands of dollars to go back to Disney world and 1 of our magic bands has a manufacturer defect. Disney stores refuses to replace this magic brand. To spend that much money at Disney world and that much money for a magic band that lasted 2 days then went bad is ridiculous. If you don’t live in Florida and you only use your magic band when you are at Disney world how would you know it isn’t going to work until the next time you go. I understand a 30 day replacement for everything except manufactured defects. It is still under what we thought was a 2 year warranty. The amount of money this enterprise charges people is outlandish and to replace 1 magic band out of 15 doesn’t sound unreasonable. Where is customer service? Seems like they only care about stealing customers blind with highly inflated prices and who cares about the consumer who has been cheated out of hard earned money.”

“Bought Disney's 'Nightmare Before Christmas' 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from Florida Disney World Magic Kingdom Main Street Store in July 2023. Given as present in November, took several weeks to complete. Only at end did we realise there were missing pieces so very unhappy. Pictures taken and sent to merchandise guest services to get missing pieces, complete replacement, or credit note. Was told that as outside 30 day period and I could not take it back to US store no help would be given. I live in the UK, it was a present given some time later, and it took a long time to get to the stage where we realised it was defective. No understanding or leeway from Disney at all. Dreadful quality control that it should be defective, and an appalling lack of understanding from a multi-million USD company in refusing any help. Do not buy from a Disney store if you are not from the US and don't want to have to travel back, or your purchase is a gift and will not be checked until after 30 days.”
“Zero star as it’s possible! I have ordered the doll set limited edition. My order status showed that it has delivered but I did not receive any package. I cannot file a claim from the UPS because the shipper which is shopDisney need to do. However, shopDisney told me to contact UPS and file a claim myself. The package is lost and no response from shopDisney. No refund or replacement. It’s so terrible ever.”
“Ordered 2 Halloween Costumes on Oct 16th. Shipping quoted 5-7 business days. I contacted customer service on the 7th business day and they could tell me nothing. I asked to cancel the order because I needed it in 2 days and they couldn't do that either. Got notification on November 5th that the items were out of stock and it would be cancelled. It took 3 weeks for them to figure this out. Thankfully I was able to purchase from Amazon and get the costumes in 2 days.”
“Live in Canada. 2 small items cost me $200 in the end! Pay the shipping fees and exchange rate only for ups to call me saying I owe them another $50 for them to deliver! 100% dont recommend! “Ordered a UP! cookie jar and hoodie 18/08/23 to accompany other gifts for my first wedding anniversary for my wife, hoodie cane over a week later after chasing this, chased up cookie jar as not received 2 days later and sent email complaining, I get a refund without any provocation on 06/09/23, I ring on the 7th and they don't specifically state the reason and only surmise issue with warehouse and stock, I tell them the product is still for sale and I've had no response to my complaint.
They said they would escalate, I was annoyed to say the least.
I've spent time and effort on calls and chat and no one has come back to me and no explanation.
I am posting this on various review sites as I gave Disney until midday ro resolve, this being same price for the cookie jar along with some form of compensation due to the delay, my time chasing and the unprofessional way they refunded without reason, I will also be pursuing with trading standards

“I've used the shop Disney online shopping twice now. Both times were extremely confusing. Both times I ordered E gift cards. Both times I was confused on whether the cards were actually being mailed to me or sent to the email I indicated. The first time I was at least able to choose a date for it to be delivered via email. I held my breath, and eureka it was sent. But the second time, the store notified me they are mailing me the gift card. So I'll hold my breath again and hope that I receive the card in time enough to mail it to my niece and hope she gets it in time for her birthday. What a mess! I could have gone to Target and purchased the gift card myself and mailed it. Very disappointed, especially since it is affiliated with a company as successful in professional as Disney.”
“NON US BUYERS BEWARE - Same as one of the previous reviews, which I didn’t see until it was too late. Ordered online, paid the expensive international shipping fee of $39.50 USD on an $80 USD Disney item. All seemed well until I received a call from UPS stating I had to pay $48.00 CAD for import fees. So, for an $80 USD purchase it ended up being $212 CAD. Ouch! DISNEY - You should be warning buyers of these other charges and making it very clear your shipping and “handling” does not include these extra charges, which by the way only $5.38 CAD consisted of actual import fees. I paid more for shipping and handling than the value of the item I purchased.”

Placed an order about a week ago for a Christmas order: Tinker Bell Barbie, Nick and Judy plush, Encanto playset and 3-3 packs mini brand Disney.
First off transaction went smooth. Used two different gift cards I had laying around and topped it off with credit card for the balance.. no issues or concerns the transaction went smoothly. Email said the items were being processed. Great everything as normal as it should be when you’re making purchases online.. was not impressed with the price tag associated with shipping and handling of $50 for a total order package that cost $160 but whatever it’s being shipped by UPS and 50 bucks is what it is. Few days later email confirmation the order has been shipped. Then few days after that I receive a UPS phone call and email stating that $100 was now additionally required for duties and fees so in total my items totaled $160 (items)+$50 for shipping and handling and now an additional ($100), in taxes(which isn't even correct on shipping manifest) and fees, you have to be kidding me how does shipping handling fees and taxes and an imposed import fee/ UPS BROKER FEES all total almost the exact cost of the items I am to receive. This Review doesn't even account for quality / delivery times / correct order etc. I tried to request a refund via chat and the process wont allow you to multiple items and or 1 big order you are required to submit a refund request for each item (Ludacris.)
Let’s be honest folks you can buy all of this stuff at Walmart or Amazon at half the price and probably the same quality definitely less in shipping charges. I was planning a big Disney world vacation. I’m glad I cancelled it. I will not be going there. I have done many reviews and I’ve also read many reviews and the Walt Disney corporation is price gouging everybody they can when they can as quick as they can, and it seems it flows at all different levels. Lesson learned about ordering across the line specifically Disney store. I will not be excepting the package. I don’t care if I get a refund or not but I’m definitely not paying an additional $100 for fees the Disney stores carrier charges. Absolutely ridiculas.”

I returned it was told it would take 2-3 weeks to get me a new one sent then I never got a confirmation email of this without calling 6-7 times being on hold for long times. They sent another one 1 week later and again the top was cracked and again poorly packaged. I’m not pursuing a return/refund because of the hassle in dealing with the customer service.”
“Placed a preorder and disney tried to authorise a payment and my bank rightfully stopped them from doing so. I contacted the bank to let them know it was okay and then disney cancelled my order. Customer service was false advertisement as they offered no help just a bunch of templated messages and didn't want to do anything to help as it would have consisted of them being helpful or productive! “An item from this company ruined a bunch of clothing in the wash. Over $100 worth of clothing that were dyed blue by Elsa pajamas bought from this company. I reached out to them and sent photos of everything. They offered me a $25 e-gift card. I sent screenshots of the prices of everything ruined and they stated they can't help me without receipts of every item. I advised them they are christmas gifts with no receipts. Disney refuses to assist with reimbursement of the items they ruined. It is complete bullcrap. They are a rich company and can't reimburse the $100 of clothes that THEY RUINED. Ugh. I tried to cancel my order which is haven't been shipped yet and the customer rep told me they can't cancel anything because the order was being processed. They told me to do a return after I receive my order but I probably need to pay for the taxes and duties since my package is shipped to Canada. I ended up need to pay more on that stupid shipping than I paid for the plush toy, and even I wanna cancel my order before shipping but they forced my to take that?
