The worse customer service. You deal with a system that makes no sense . This company doesn't consider we are living in a global pandemic .

No one anywhere to show me to the car. Had to pay £150 to a taxi after spending an hour looking for a rep. No refund. Joke of a company

If there was a 0 star rating I would have done that. Terrible service and very misleading . I paid for platinum insurance but had to pay insurance again when I took the car and was told by the company doyouspain insurance is a scam , if anything happens to the car that insurance is not a part of the car rental company so it's basically pointless to do that

Horrible customer service, hidden fees, non existent management...I could go on and on. How do they expect people to continue doing business with them, when they're treating customers like cattle? I'm Spanish, and to be honest, I'm ashamed that a Spanish company can treat people like this and get away with it. Please don't buy from them. They need to learn to treat their customers better, or else, they go bankcrupt.

I DoYouSpain have charged me twice for one car rental and are refusing to refund me. Each time I’ve called them I’ve spoken to a different person. They all say it’s out of their hands although they also say they don’t have any manager so I’m struggling to know whose hands my case is in. Unprofessional is not adequate to describe their response to what was a duplicate payment made because of their misleading correspondence. I’m waiting for my refund.

Such a bad experience and worst consumer service ever. I have been trying to understand why I ended up paying more than the price advertised in their website. It’s been 5 weeks now. They don’t want to refund the difference because the tank was supposedly not full. Each time there is a different contact person to whom I must explain the situation all over again and send all documents again. Waste of time and money. Don’t trust DoyouSpain or Thrifty / Hertz, the compagnies they work with. I was also charged one extra day because when I returned the car, there was no one at the desk. I dropped the keys into the key box and now they are asking to prove I returned the car before 3pm. Do NOT rent from them. It's a dishonest company.

The company is just another sample of the current type of business which today rules the car rental business. Hidden fees, unexistent customer service, fraudulent transactions, broken cars, extortion of insurances... Avoid at all costs. You will regret to even get close to them.

AVOID Prebooked a hire car last year for a trip first week in March 2021. Checked details. good price and FREE cancellations amendments offered, paid up front. Figured that because of travel restrictions in place that this trip wasn't going to happen so contacted company to cancel. Now being told that rate I paid was a 'Special' one which didn't include cancellations. At the time of booking I took a screenshot of the quote page as proof of contract. Customer service suggesting that the same company I booked with WAS offering FREE cancellations at the time but MY booking didn't include that. Difficult company to communicate with, replies to emails get bounced straight back so unable to hold a running dialogue. Only contacted me about problem after I left a negative review on Trustpilot. Which allows them to answer review making them look like they have good customer service. Do Not reply to direct messages. Rep said he would get back to me, I'm still waiting. If no joy will be reporting to OCU(Spanish consumer regulators).

I booked beginning of march 20.for a holiday sept 20. They wont refund a penny which i feel is unfair. So. They've profited the full amount with no cost To them. So. Please dont book until nearer your required date of travel. Feel been ripped off when i feel. They should of. Refunded at. Least 50%.

Ive rented cars all over the world for 25 years and never had a problem....... until now. They have a tiny clause in the small print (I found out) whereby if you are 6 hours or more late they will not give you the car but will keep the money for the entire rental period. The pick time was set (without our knowledge) for 930 am, we were too late. They wouldn't budge but were happy to keep our money. Ive never heard anything like it, disgusting company, DO NOT USE THEM. After reading multiple review it seems we were lucky, people seem to have had far worse experiences.

DoyouSpain car hire is a scam. Keep away! They offer low prices to get your interest and then the rent a car company adds more and more hidden fees until the value becomes the double of what you would pay if you booked directly with them. You have to pay a fee for fuel even if you deliver the car with a full tank. I booked the car under my name and I only have a debit card, so they didn't accept it as a deposit. My credit card is in a joint account with my wife and her name is on the card, so, even presenting proof of this, it wasn't accepted. They also didn't accept the deposit in cash. I would have to pay an insurance of 120€ (for a 30€ rental) in order to be able to pay the deposit with our joint account. Also, they will hold the 1100€ deposit for 30 days, even if the car doesn't have a scratch. I honestly don't understand how these companies manage to operate in the E.U. I have rented cars all over the world and never had a problem. I end up being scammed right next door... I imagine all these 5 star reviews are fake and ordered from some online pay for review company. #DoyouScam

Paid for a vehicle to pick up at Carcassonne. Arrived only to be told by Enterprise that the only vehicle available was a huge transit van. We had to wait over two hours and pay extra until they could find us a suitable vehicle. No help from carjet/doyouspain when emailed to complain and ask for refund of the overpayment. Scammers, avoid at all costs. Hopefully they will cease trading soon and do the world a favour.

Not helping and fixed the problems, they just wanna keep the money that you pay and NEVER admit that they wrong and give your money back. They sells you an assurance that you don't need because when you rent a car you will also pay the same and they know it!!! NEVER NEVER again!!!
