“My experience with DPD has been excellent lately. Parcels are always within the hour time slot they allocate, always to my door or my chosen safe place if I'm out, and always in good condition with no holes or crushed corners on the boxes. The flexibility of their customer service team is also excellent, once when I missed a parcel requiring a signature (new phone) I called them up to ask if I could collect it from the depot as I needed it urgently. I was pleasantly surprised when the advisor checked the driver's position, gave me an estimated time for their return to the depot and said I could pop in after that time. When I got there the van had just arrived so the assistant at the desk went straight to the van and found the parcel for me! DPD have been nothing but excellent for me, I'm always happy to see DPD as a delivery option since I know it will be handled correctly.”

“Well happy with DPD. Ordered a vacuum cleaner from Shark on a Tuesday and received it Wednesday morning following day. They kept me informed about the delivery and arrived at the time stated. Delivered by a pleasant well mannered driver as well. Thank you.”

“Driver collected package 21/12/20 for delivery 22/12/20. The driver signed the manifest to accept package from ourselves and left tracking documentation. Went to check tracking of package 22/12/20 and tracking number was not recognised on DPD system. Immediately phoned DPD and met with automated response saying package delivered at 07:40am 22/12/20 and the package was confirmed as being accepted by a person not known to ourselves or the party due to receive the package. DPD have confirmed the package was delivered to an incorrect address and we are still awaiting a telephone call from the DPD manager to explain what has gone wrong and how they intend to remedy their error. The package was a family prepared presentation letter to our young 2 year old granddaughter introducing Father Christmas to her with a lovely message and colourful images of Santa, his reindeer and elves. The package did not contain any monetary value whatsoever but had sentimental value to us as her grandparents. We await further information from the DPD Manager!”

“DPD said they would pick up my parcel Monday and they did! they also said my parcel would arrive at my address in France on Wednesday and it did, it was also the cheapest I could find on the internet! This on the 14 th of December! WOW HOWE CAN YOU GET BETTER THAN THAT. HO HO HO”

“I love DPD. I live in the south west of England and here they are a million times better than all the other courier services, to the point that if a campany doesn't use them, I'm a tiny bit more reluctant to use them. DPD regularly deliver stuff early for me, for example, something I ordered from North England was passed to DPD at 7:30pm on Friday night. Initially I had an email from DPD telling me delivery was scheduled for Monday. However at 10:30am the following day I had an SMS telling me my item would be delivered between 1 and 2pm that day. Thats 18 hours to get something all the way across the country and deliver it to me. And the hour long delivery slot by text is something that every courier should use. On top of that, you get a text when the driver is a few stops away with a link so you can track their location and make sure you're ready to answer the door as soon as they turn up. For this reason I don't know how previous reviewers are saying that the driver didn't ring the bell or even get out of the van. The vans are obviously tracked, so if this was happening just call DPD and complain, they could see from the tracking data that the van didn't stop for long enough to get the parcel out of the van and attempt a delivery. For me, its easy to track the van and see when it turns up so I keep an eye out and when the van turns up I go straight to the door. Haven't had an attempted delivery message from DPD where I was in and never saw the courier, unlike most of the big courier companies like UPS or TnT. I couldn't believe the reviews on this site cos for me DPD are the best courier by a long way. Perhaps they're unlucky enough to have a jobsworth working their area, in which case they should complain to DPD who can check the driver's actions from the vehicles GPS.”
