Absolute liars! Their drivers will claim attempted deliveries and then leave your package at a distant depot for personal pickup (which is ridiculous in coronavirus times). I was home both times the supposed deliveries were attempted. They did not come here. LIARS! When I rang to arrange redelivery, I was told that because two attempts had been made (FALSE), I would have to travel almost one hour to pick up the package in person. WORST COURIER COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

There are 21 individual/separate properties within this block. And the photo below is what was left in the foyer. What this means is that 21 different households will need to check if this parcel is for them or for another household. Unless we are fortunate enough to have someone who is expecting a delivery by DPDlocal. That might narrow it down a bit. But SURELY a good idea would be to actually write the recipients name on it!!!!

Absolutely terrible. I waited in for my delivery only to receive a sorry we missed you. I contacted them and said no delivery attempt had been made (After a while searching i finally found a way to contact them. One by phone, that only gives an automated update on your parcel, no human to talk too. The other is Via online chat with a very long wait.) Anyway, I contacted them and said no delivery attempt had been made and that i was in, also there isn't even a card. They said sorry, the driver must of gone to the wrong address but don't worry they will be back tomorrow and that they will message me my new time slot by 11am. It comes to late afternoon the next day and still i haven't heard anything, i try parcel tracking to find it was already heading back to the supplier at 9:20 am. No second delivery, no new time, they just sent it back! So again i wait in a queue online, no real sorry, no explanation how it got sent back, no reason as to why they didn't attempt another delivery, just you'll have to contact the supplier and have it re-delivered. Disgusting service.

Terrible service the delivery drivers also lie when they can't be bothered to deliver your parcel i was waiting in for a parcel then got an email saying they tried to deliver and I wasn't in and they left a note but I received the email straight away phoned dpd and was told roadworks had blocked the road I had been to the shop 15 minutes earlier and it was open i was told he would be back later but never bothered turning up It was a 21st birthday present for my daughter and I was unable to give her a present my wife was in tears I can't relive this day I'm very disappointed

I posted a computer from UK to Poland. Elderly person signed for it and didn't note damage to the box. Contents were shuttered, computer's metal cover is bent ; hard drive, processor cooler are torn out of it's mounts; ram memory, mother board, sound card and other components of the machine are damaged by loose parts bouncing around in the cover. Courier company refused to pay out the compensation because parcel was signed. There was no obvious damage to the package. Avoid this company.

VOID INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS AT ALL COST Shame there is no zero star as one is too much.... Parcel meant to be delivered within 4 (working) days, now, end of (working) day 5 and still nothing.... Customer service totally useless.... All throughout the day just utomated service repeated "Parcel due to be delivered today" and then disconected me, did not allow me to speak to the agent.... Never again !!

If I could give them 0 stars I would..I thought hermes was bad but bloody hell!!! They was meant to deliver wednesday didnt come..changed 4 thursday am and before Thursday even came they had changed it to saturday per my request at 6.51am!! Baring in my mind I wasnt even up..customer service r 0 help and I now wont get a parcel I need..absolute joke I will stick to Hermes now!

I would give 0 star if I could! The worst courier company ever!! I waited for more than three days to have my parcel collected, originally it was supposed to be collected on Monday. No one came, no call from DPD. Then rescheduled to Tuesday, again no one came no call from them, then rescheduled again and again the same thing just repeated endless!!! I called their customer service many times during these days, they only good at apologising and guaranteeing you the item will be collected soon which never come true!! It is hard to image such useless bunch of people are there cheating all the time! Please avoid DPD at all costs!

I would never recommend using DPD for delivery. I’ve been waiting for a delivery since Friday. Every time I request an update from dpd they continue to change delivery dates. The lastest position as of to today is they have my parcel in their northern highland depot and yet they cannot confirm if and when I can expect delivery. They told me to contact the sender to investigate and cannot discuss with me any further. I’ve waited in three days looking out for this delivery from Apple. Very frustrated.

The most awful postal company on the planet. After giving them my phone number, being cued up on their complaints messaging 5 times each time for over 20 minutes, being promised that my delivery will be delivered over and over again, yet again today the driver didn't even get out of the van. He took a photo of the beginning of the road and drove on. DO NOT USE! God only knows how this company got a license to deliver items anywhere on the planet. DISGUSTED!

Parcel sent by Ikea but seemingly badly boxed by DPD. Also parcel sent recently from Sam Turners also badly boxed. Both deliveries had unsealed boxes obviously made up from whatever was available. Very unprofessional.

Delivery attempted without email advice it was going to happen, I was outside on property and only realised when I got email saying delivery failed, then four days later got email saying no room on vehicle for my small parcel and I have to go to depot and collect or it will be returned to sender, it is less than two miles from depot to my address

3 parcels missing in a week says it all really. as always customer service is beyond awful and i try as much as possible to avoid ordering from companies that use dpd as their courier.

Lost parcel no attempt to resolve issue Dpd delivered my parcel with 230 euros worth of good to "someone", not me. When I track my parcel it states "delivered". As the parcel has the eircode on it I presumed, incorrect that it would be safely delivered. When I emailed them on the website email, it bounced back, when you do a " live" chat with Barry the bolt all you get after inputting your reference number is "delivered" . After 1 hour 15 minutes on hold to the Athlone brand I got the same "delivered" after this I rang the Roscommon brand and after 45 mintues on hold was again informed my parcel has been delivered. While this is factualy correct, my parcel has indeed been delivered, it has not been delivered to me. Dpd has made no accept to trace where they delivered my parcel, currently it has been missing now for five days. Unprofessional

Shame that I have to actually rate this one star. I ordered a phone around 4pm on a Friday. Was told DPD would deliver on Saturday, I was stunned! I thought wow, that can’t be right, what an amazing service. Little did I know I was right. At 0245 on Saturday the parcel arrived in their Birmingham hub. No movement on Saturday, no movement on Sunday, no movement on Monday, I decided to contact them on Monday twice, once in the afternoon and once in the evening, and was told to contact the seller, bit weird but ok. Monday night at 2056 it has arrived, guess where... The Netherlands!!! (U.K. customer by the way). It states it will get delivered on Tuesday, fair play so I didn’t bother contacting them and assumed it was an oversight or system glitch. No delivery on Tuesday. Contacted DPD via chat this morning and had to ask three times, how it was in Holland? At first they said it was an overseas parcel. Then finally they said it had been re routed and to wait another 24 hours?? I don’t mind mistakes happen, but there is no accountability from this company, I’ve never liked their service or even the attitude of some of the drivers I’ve seen around the North London area. They could have contacted me and said they made a mistake. Absolute sham of a company

We have had nothing but a brilliant service from DPD. The driver for our area is great, she goes out of her way to provide a brilliant service. We can even call her to let her know when we are in for her to collect. I am really surprised they get such bat feedback. Maybe people whe get good service don’t leave reviews!
