I am currently going through the process of claiming my money back via my bank. After being promised a refund since Agust last year. Please do not book with this company and read what so many other are saying. With a bit of luck enough be reviews will cost them the custom they don't deserve and put them out of business.

Terrible!!! I am still waiting for my refund after a year of emails and phone calls. Please do not use this agency if your flights get cancelled you will never see your money.

Booked a flight to Bangkok last June cancelled in August.have tried for 9 months without success to get my £605 back after being promised back in March of this year I would receive a full refund. Please believe all you read on the different sites. So many unfortunate people have been scammed out of there honest earnings and these thieves continue to keep hold of customers money. Nat west have now taken up my dispute. I should get a refund if not I'm prepared to file through the government web site for a full refund plus interest. Do not use this company!

CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR AND FRAUDS I purchased tickets from Dream World Travel in March 2020. The flights were cancelled and a refund request submitted in September 2020. I finally received the refund at the end of April 2021 after Dream World Travel using every tactic possible to try and not pay. They claimed to have not received the refund until March 2021, which is highly unlikely given the airline is Etihad who were obligated to refund the flights within 7 days of cancellation. I highly suspect that Dream World Travel received the refund in September 2020 and simply delayed paying until the last moment possible. I only received the refund after sending them a completed N1 Claim Form for initiating proceedings against them in the County Court Money Claims Centre. They paid me the day after I sent them that. In my opinion, Dream World Travel acted like criminals and are fraudsters who should be struck off Companies House. For anyone still out of pocket - don't waste your time with them any further - just submit a claim against them using the link below. https://www.gov.uk/make-money-claim

10 months and NO refund - I have tried my best to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt but 10 months!!! I have been reasonable, polite, understanding, all I get is the same tired spiel - 'the delay is with the airlines', 'another 2 weeks', 'end of the month'. I don't know what else to say for this firm to offer a refund. However, I have decided that I am going to pursue whatever legal or statutory mechanisms that are in place. First port of call is the CMA (can be found on Gov . UK for all those who wish to do so), after that it will be any of the aviation authorities and then small claims court. If I could give a 0 rating I would - as for getting a refund thus far it seems not applicable

The worst company ever! Avoid them! I brought a flight tickets for me and my family last year to go to Brazil. Due Covid national lockdown not allowed to fly. They paid £2000 they want to refund only £800 they said it’s the fees !??? I try to change the dates and guest what on website it’s £2.200 to book the flight but they want to charge me 1.400 + to change the dates , cost me total £3.400! Absolutely ridiculous shame on them.

Booked flights for June 11th last year and they were obviously cancelled. After a multitude of emails (when they can be bothered to respond), finally 5 weeks ago after I told them I’d put a complaint in with Barclays they admitted they’d had my money off the airline and I’d get it between 2-4 weeks. Yet here we are 9 months on and despite several more emails no reply. They truly are awful. Book direct with the airlines guys, avoid these middle men crooks at all costs.

Let me share our recent experience with Dream World Travel . We have booked 5 tickets for the whole family to travel to Bali for Dec 2021.Few days Later after we made a payment via website we started panicking as didn’t receive any e- tickets for the flight , just a confirmation with our ref number . My husband contacted Singapore Airlines directly to check if our tickets are booked with them. However , to our great shock Singapore Airlines said that our booking was cancelled and we needed to contact World Dream Travel agent . Just imagine our feelings, guys! We started contacting them , after several attempts we spoken to Sumera and she explained patiently that that’s the way they work . They create one ref number with the airline and change it for another one later on closer to the date of travel and the rates are still remain the same . They have explained that there is urgent option to have e- tickets earlier that that , so we asked for them and Sumera issued e-tickets for us in a short time . So , if you have the same situation don’t panic and don’t think it’s a fraudulent travel agent . Just try to contact them( sometimes it takes time to get through) and explain your problem .This is sometimes there to help! Thank you very much Sumera and the team .

Flights cancelled due to covid. Refund request raised in July 2020 and now its March 2021. Waiting for refund (£3500) for over 8 months now. Numerous calls made. They always say 'asap' and keep dragging things every week. They confirmed they received funds from airlines/suppliers in Dec 2020 but still they haven't refunded me yet. Being taken for a ride. BEWARE.

This company is a scam. Bunch of lairs and cheaters. Its been a 7 months and my Refund is still pending. They disconnect the call when you talk about Refunds. I will sue this company very soon

I would like to share my experience in reading so many reviews here as I have been dealing with dream world travel for the past five years travelling to Peru Brazil . Every time I was given a remarkably fab service . Fares are great and the service is always very professional . Last year I booked my December 2020 tri again in April but due to the Covid situation the flights got cancelled and.I immediately applied for refund and I was told it will take 3 months . Checking with them after 3 months I was told the refunds are not released yet therefore check after six months .As I was their regular customer I waited and I was happy to receive my refund on 28th January . I am very happy with the service and absolutely grateful to the Dream World Travel for all the cooperation during pandemic and I am booking my December 2021 trip again with Dream World .

My flight was cancelled due to COVID I waited 9 months for my refund only to be told that they will be deducting £190 off my total refund for administration fees from themselves and airline. I am so upset

I wish I had read the reviews on this company before I booked through them, it would have saved me the headache of now having to contribute one of my own. Like everyone else, I had a flight booked through DWT that was canceled due to COVID. It's been nine months now and I still have yet to receive my refund. What angers me the most is that I happen to know that Iceland Air has refunded its passengers for this flight, which means that Dream World Travel is holding my money hostage, and charging me a £35 admin fee for the trouble. I have been patient and understanding of their 'unprecedented volume of requests', for nine months, but it's simply not a good enough excuse anymore. 16 other airlines and travel agencies, who also faced 'unprecedented volumes of requests', managed to refund me in a reasonable amount of time. Why is Dream World Travel so inept and incapable? Nothing reveals character like a crisis and I believe DWT have revealed their shameful true colours. They've lost me as a customer, and, after reading all these other reviews, I'm certain I'm not the only one.

The kind of company you see on Rogue Trader or Watchdog - do not believe them, do not book with them. On April 3rd, I paid Dream World Travel (DWT) £881 for an Emirates return ticket for Chile, before coronavirus kicked off. The flight, from Edinburgh Airport was due to leave on 4th December. However, the course was cancelled and "cancelled" the flight on 28th September, and have since been trying to get my money back from DWT, to no avail.. However, I have since discovered Emirates cancelled all flights from Edinburgh Airport on the 26th April, and DWT didn't even tell me - in fact, I have still never received a formal communication to tell me my flight had been cancelled, more than eight months ago. It transpires that Emirates didn't even take the money, so it has been sitting with DWT for eight months. Dealing with them is a nightmare - they just send out boilerplate emails and they do not answer their phone, they have made zero indication that they are planning to refund my money. I have now applied for my money back via the small claims court. The single most depressing consumer experience I have ever had. PNR: 2MULYI

Apr 23, 2020 : booking with DreamWorldTravel (PNR 3ONWXA, Reservation 5NEFQN) Booking reference # : 3999981 Total price : 705 (= 348.74 + Taxes : 353.68 + Booking charge : 4.70 Charge : 2.35 ) Jun 15, 2020 : I did “cancellation request” and refund, because my flight had been cancelled by the airline. I have waited for refund since June. The Nov 30 was due for the refund, in trust and patience. But nothing happened, and there was not any response to my many emails and calls from abroad here. I contacted the airline, which couldn't find the booking number with this company. I requested a credit or whatever, so as to buy a new ticket with the amount unrefunded. Still no help and response. I have to do ATOL claim and small claim... to protect customers like me. Am I not patient to understand this Covid 19 situation? Other companies seemed to do their best with prompt replies. Do not lose your pease and dignity to save some pennies. Avoid please
