Driver turned up Wed 18/12 in an unmarked transit van with a large dent in the side and a foul demeanour. Initially gave my parcel to my elderly relative who was in the house in my absence, then snatched it back off him and said he couldn’t have it. Have tried two phone numbers (automated), two emails (automated), a chatbot (automated) two customer service chats (99% sure AI masquerading as humans) over the past 24 hours and yet to receive a resolution, or indeed my parcel which is being held hostage by an aggressive courier! Everyone I’ve dealt with so far has been rude and dismissive. Be wary of positive review farming on here too: they’re coming in thick and fast from bots. Update: DX said they would re-deliver Fri 20/12 but nothing came. First they said that the sender had initiated return of the item which they could not override (a lie: I have written confirmation from the sender that they did no such thing). Next they said that a delivery attempt had been made but I refused it (a lie: I was at home all day and nobody from DX appeared). Finally they decided that - despite their earlier advice (i.e. lies) - they could actually arrange a third delivery attempt for Sat 21/12. They made sure to tell me this was going through their priority service at no extra cost to me, as if they were doing me a favour by engaging the bare minimum to attempt to fix their failings?! Well anyway, in a surprise to nobody it’s now Sun 22/12 and nothing has appeared. Meanwhile this is a perishable consumable item that is likely ruined anyway after 6+ days of being held hostage by DX. I have escalated my complaint to the Chief Executive Paul Ibbetson and Managing Director Martin Illidge because where the initial issue may have been written off as a rogue driver with aggression issues (though speaks to deficits in their courier commissioning processes between that and him turning up in a vehicle that looked like it has just fled the scene of an accident), the many clear lies I have been told since by employees throughout the business is clearly indicative of a dishonest corporate culture. At least the shop I ordered this parcel through is cancelling their contract with DX and I hope more follow suit.

I received an update saying my order had been delivered to Andy at my address. Me and my wife were in all day and unless there’s something she’s not telling me there was no Andy at the house. In the unlikely case of infidelity it seems even more unlikely that Andy would then happily sign for parcels addressed to me, (Peter). Andy seemingly then realised that he was A) not me and B) didn’t live in my house. Because the parcel was then returned to the Bristol depo a few hours later as shown on the order updates. It is now impossible for me to rearrange delivery as the parcel has now done a Schrödinger and is simultaneously delivered and not delivered. The only plus side is that having gone through all the incredibly useful AI programs. (Who doesn’t like repeating your tracking number 15 times?) I have now had a good half hour to write this review while waiting to speak to an actual human. Perhaps it will be Andy himself?

They were supposed to deliver something today. While I was eagerly awaiting their arrival, I received a “sorry we missed you” email. They didn’t even bother trying to deliver the parcel. Even though it’s a busy time of year, skipping deliveries is unacceptable! It was my partners Xmas present and I was relying on DX express to deliver this on time. We’re going away from tomorrow morning until mid January, so there is no chance at getting the parcel before hand. I tried calling their helpline, only to be put through to a machine and then hung up on. All options given when calling result in the same outcome - you can’t speak to a person. I’m beyond upset with their service. I’ll never use them again. 👎

Today my parcel was delivered at 11:32 and the driver dumps my parcel on my doorstep and takes a photo and then leaves. He did not ring my doorbell or even knocks the door. My Ring doorbell camera caught the delivery. There is a4 size notice on the door say where to leave it as I was at work and he didn’t even look at it . The parcel is a high value item and I have had parcels stolen in the past as you can see my doorstep from the public pavement. Luckily one of my neighbours seen it and took it in. This delivery driver needs training on how to deliver a parcel properly. I do NOT recommend this company.

Pathetic. Parcel didn't turn up, had message said I rescheduled I DIDN'T. Awaiting in on the second day and tracked the delivery on the map, showed up within a mile of me and tracked all the way back to Stafford. Can't speak anyone. I tried to get a phone call back. You have to fill in all the fields, I don't work for a company so couldn't get pass the fist page. THEY ARE A PATHETIC COMPANY

My wife organised to have the day at home so that she could await the parcel that had to be handed over in person. We got an email to say "Sorry we missed you, we tried to deliver your item at such and such a time" however they never even attempted to deliver it. Even our door cam shows they didn't turn up. Utter waste of our time.

Absolutely horrible company, no one turn up and will keep rebooked for the delivery, I have proof which is my camera on the front door. Waist of time

I received an email and text to say that a delivery was attempted. I was at home at the time they attempted to deliver. They did not ring the bell or knock on the door. They dropped a card through the letter box but did not complete any of the details. They would make a lot more money as a company if they did not waste time and effort on having to deliver to an address twice just because their drivers can't be bothered to ring a doorbell and wait. Not the first time this has happened either.

I received a text message this morning to say that my package will be delivered by DX between 08:00 and 18:00 today. I sat in all day and nothing has arrived. I have just checked the tracking app and it still says out for delivery and it's now 22:45. Thank you DX a full day wasted and my Item has still not been delivered. I will get onto the seller in the morning and see what he says and the thing is it's not his fault. It's a shame that I can't swear on here. DX TOTALLY HOPELESS. If they were to receive a fine for late or none delivery I would guarantee that every delivery would arrive on time.

If I could have negative stars I would. First attempt, next day, to deliver went to the wrong house even though I was on the same road. They managed to write off a petrol generator and completely dent a 20 litre Jerry can !! Second attempt, again next day .... not delivered and here is the best bit .... I wasn't in there area for a delivery on a Tuesday. What a bunch of wasters.... close your business as you suck at it.

Good Evening, I hope you're okay. Sadly you've claimed that you tried to deliver the parcel 2 days in a row, you also claim to have left a calling card, which isn't true. It's obvious that the driver couldn't find the property. This has caused us a major issue as we needed the parcel yesterday from Morplan for our retail shop. We won't be able to buy anymore products from Morplan as we can't be let down by there choice of couriers. We've now changed the delivery address to a farm so they can't say they cant this time. What a shower of s**t this company is. Told delivery would be on 12th - none. , tracking states card left - None. same again a week later No card left, and then by coincidence the package has been damaged and cant be delivered a third time . Only found that out from the supplier , score deserved by DX . None.

If I could leave zero I would. The worst delivery company ever!! This is the second time a parcel I’ve ordered is meant to be delivered by them and for the second time I’ve waited in for them to arrive and they don’t turn up, no communication nothing. Then the next day get an email to say your order will be delivered today only for the same thing to happen. It takes them days to reliever after they tell you your delivery will be today. I’m so disappointed in them!! Honestly I think in the future if I go to order something and find out they are the delivery company I just won’t order it or cancel my order as the service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.

As soon as you are informed that DX will be the courier for your item, I suggest you cancel immediately as DX NEVER DELIVER! They are a bunch of con artists and their drivers must be professional thieves and liars given that this is a nationwide issue across multiple retailers! There is no consideration for people waiting at home day after day for an item that inevitably will never arrive. Excuse after excuse and appalling customer service with excuses that do not even make sense. This company should be shut down immediately as poor management and a culture of deceit means year after year they fail their customers. D stands for DECEIPT X stands for HAZARD (WARNING DO NOT USE)!

Promised delivery on Monday 16th Dec. Waited in all day but nothing arrived or notification. Called Tuesday to check why delayed or no advice. No reason but now promised delivery on Wednesday. Not good enough. Better to use Evri or Parcel force next time where the parcel is tracked step by step.

Absolutely useless!!! Still waiting for a delivery a week later. Been on hold for over an hour on their helpline. An absolute waste of time company. NEVER USE!!!

They managed to lose two 3m long metal poles, then failed to deliver the replacements that the vendor sent via a next day service. Useless!
