This would have been a five star review had it not been for the two hours I had previously  wasted on hold when I called 0330 365 5000. Luckily I read some of the reviews on here suggesting people try 0330 365 5030 so I thought I'd give that a try. Long story short, answered within 15 minutes by a very helpful chap by the name of Bandi who actioned my cancelled flights refund back to Love Holidays. OH NO! not Love Holidays I hear you cry, but fear not, for just over a week later of kind Bandi actioning the refund I received an email from Love Holidays saying the £290.28 refund from Easyjet would be back in my credit card account within five days. Well, two days later there it was, so really apart from the issue with the first customer service number I tried I haven't got any complaints.

Making people wait for one hour to speak to customer support in the call center should be illegal

Horrendous!!!!!!! I accepted a voucher and they make you call up To use it but don’t answer for hours and hours!!! I waited for 3 hours on 3 straight days I couldn’t wait any longer and now my flights have gone!!! Why issue vouchers you haven’t got the capacity to service!!!! Why let customers who could of insisted on a refund go though this stress it’s ludicrous!!! I am so stressed I will remember how horrendous this was and tell everyone I know!!

Shocking customer service. You call them and are on hold for hours before the call disconnects. You fill in their online form and no one replies. You email them direct and no one replies. We will never use them again!!!

Finally had notification of refund from early April. Turns out my card has expired and replaced with new one but same number. 40 mins on hold before being told barclaycard will have the money and I must ring them. 45 min further hold ringing then to now be told that this is easy jet ruse to keep my money longer as a chargeback is taking months and all easy jet need to do is issue refund back to my card as you don’t need the expiry date. Yet another 40 mins ring easy jet back to be told the same thing, when I pointed out what the card issuer had said the extremely rude and ignorant easy jet representative just hung up the phone!!! Agghhhhhhh🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 easyJet this is nothing other than fraud you are cheating the public out of hard earned funds you absolute thief’s!!!!

Just had a 7 hour schedule change asked for refund told i could not have one. Their policy is 5 hours so i should have had a refund. The staff lie to you and say u have to have a voucher. So if your schedule is 5 hours or more you are entiled to a refund. They will lie to you poor poor service.

Still waiting for a refund (7 weeks) went on their refund tracker tool on their website, my claim can not be found! Absolute shambles.

My flight got cancelled because of coronavirus. I applied for a refund on their website and after 2 months my refund request got rejected because they say, the flight got cancelled less than 30 days before its departure day. Given that the reason for not accepting my refund request was to do with the date it was cancelled, certainly this was something they could have determined immediately. Instead, they left me waiting for 2 months so that the time window to get a voucher would expire. I am now left with no options and I can't even get a voucher or change my booking to a different flight. They proactive misled me into losing my money, which is unethical at best. I wish whoever at easyjet came up with this misleading process to have to spend the money they stole from me in medicines for an incurable, painful disease. And then some!

ABOMINABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have flown with Easyjet every year for many years from my local airport at Bristol. In 2019 we changed our mind about where we wanted to go for our autumn break so I cancelled our flights and rebooked (both with Easyjet). I was due a refund of the tax paid on the cancelled flights and during my online exchange with Easyjet Customer Service team I explained that I no longer had the card that I originally paid with and I was advised to phone the customer services team by to arrange for the refund to be paid to a different card. The person I’d been liaising with online then immediately paid the refund to the card I said I no longer had! I contacted Easyjet many times and went over this again and again and they didn’t send me details of the card number used for the original payment, but as I no longer had the card, I had no idea what card it was and no statements relating to the card number, which I explained again and again. I eventually received a call from Easyjet apologising for what had happened and asked for my bank details so the refund could be made straight into my bank account. I never got the refund and when I contacted them again they said I’d have to provide proof that I hadn’t received the original refund, which was impossible for me to do. This was September 2019 and to this day I never received my refund and I never found out which card the refund was supposedly paid to or received a statement with details of a refund from Easyjet. Until I receive my refund I will not book flights with Easyjet again, even when we are eventually allowed to fly.

Telephoned Easyjet obo my parents as their flight was cancelled due to the CD19 pandemic. They had been trying to get through for over 4 weeks and had lost patience (they are both over 70). I completely understand that Easyjet are extremely busy during this unprecedented period but the attitude of this company is unbelievably arrogant! The Customer Service rep who I finally managed to speak to (after nearly 2 hours of constant redialling) confirmed that Easyjet have received my parents refund claim but stated that they my parents claim will have to wait up to 90 DAYS (ie 3 MONTHS) to receive their full refund. When I informed the customer service rep that they are acting unlawful stating this and my parents may have to ask their bank to charge back the refund from Easyjet, he said "if your parents do that, they will then owe Easyjet the cost from the banks chargeback and will not be able to every fly with Easyjet again"!!! With an attitude like that Easyjet do no deserve to come out the other side of this successfully and carry on being able to operate. I was flabbergasted. I only hope that customers of this wholly unprofessional outfit remember the way they are currently being treated (awaiting for their hard earned refunds for cancelled flights and services they are not receiving) and go elsewhere. As I stated to the customer service rep (before I left the call), with an attitude like this, Easyjet will be lucky to still be around this time next year! My parents have already experienced bad form from this company (due to being victims of Thomas Cook) last year, they were left stranded in Turkey and had to resort to paying £1200 for 2 return flights. RIPOFF EASYJET - profiteering from poor customers who were desperate to get home.

Your avoidence to refund your cancellation, YOU, left me no choise except section 75, credit consumer act 1974, thus my c.c provider refunded me , and they had to endure your breaking the law by it refunding in 2 weeks , lay staff off and say too busy , right who ever is foolish enough to rely on a refund for a provider who can't deliver , for futhure cancellations by EASY JET , will have to implement a section 75, so please any booking remember EASY JET , SECTION 75, OR YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES

Slow to refund , they cancelled my flight the day before it was due to leave , ( no flights for weeks previously ) showed my flight as “ Full “ not cancelled causing delay in refund process. I know they are busy but when I pay them it’s instantaneous, money moved , doesn’t work both ways apparently, though they did get hacked and allow my details to be taken 4 months before they told me .

I booked 6 x flights only, to fly 23rd of July costing £1650 from Easyjet and I booked a separate private holiday let in Spain costing £1750. I have explained to Easyjet that I must cancel or rebook my holiday one month before we travel or I lose my money if we do not go (£1750) but Easy jet only offer 7 days notice as to whether the flight will fly. So if they cancel 7 days before I lose my holiday money and if i cancel my holiday and Easyjet say the flight is going ahead and i don't fly i lose my flight money (£1650), catch 22. I tried to work with Easyjet asking for a credit note or 6 flights next Summer both of which or not availabel to me as the flight has not yet been cancelled. So basically if easyjet cancel (because of the way they have behaved) I will demand a refund and never fly with them again. All other Airlines have advertised next summers flights to help out the situation but Easyjet are holding back until the end of this summer to limit their customers options thus capitalising from peoples misfortunes that this terrible pandemic is causing. Talk about kicking people while they are down and whilst capitalising from misfortunes, pleading with the government for handouts. But my biggest gripe is, in my 50 years of life I have never been made to feel so insignificant and angry as I did when the supervisor/manager at Easyjet who I was talking to just said "bye" and hung up the phone whilst I was mid sentence. They should show a little more respect and professionalism knowing that people are worried and have spent days trying to speak with them. could possibly be lost and Easyjets customer service supervisor/manager (supposedly a person of responsibility) just hangs up the phone as if you count for nothing. The big winners here are Jet2 who will undoubtedly pick up a huge chunk of Easjets future bookings.

Terrible customer service. It has been over 50 days since I request a refund from EasyJet for my cancelled flight on 29th March. They have advised that I need to wait 90 days for a refund which is just ridiculous. I applied for the refund online before EasyJet revoked this option from customers, they are now claiming that they have a backlog of refunds that were requested online and customers that called into the helpline afterwards were given priority. I will never fly with EasyJet ever again. They have made it nearly impossible to receive a refund. I have tried to contact their helpline 100 plus times and only managed to get through to them twice. This is putting me under an immense amount of stress which I do not need being heavily pregnant and with the current pandemic
