I don’t as a rule do reviews on things but am so angry that this company Easylife are nothing but scammers who prey on the elderly. I ordered 2 items in June and paid for them, then bombarded with pamphlets. This week discovering they took £74.99 I telephoned their customer services dept spoke to a very rude man who said I must have signed up for a supercard club which I did not and would not. He told me he was doing me a favour by letting me know I was paying for the call to which I asked for his name, surprise surprise he didn’t have to give it. Tried emailing them ...invalid email after all the time drafting a letter. He said he would put me through to another number I asked was I paying for this call he said no. Spoke to a lady rude again asked her name it sounded like Asonde and asked to spell it to which she replied ber name was Chris!!!she said I would get a refund in 5 days...I know I wont, she sounded like she was just trying to get rid of me. Asked her if I was paying for the call, she said YES. Sorry for rambling but please don’t let any of your family or friends, particularly the elderly and vunerable order from these scammers. They should be called hardlife not easylife. Will update on these people. They must be accountable. Pauline(pensioner) By the way they don’t even get one star Thank you

Signed up for rewards club which I did not agree. Will never order anything ever again. Do not order from this company you will be signed up , unlawful, and may have money stolen from your account. Dishonest tele sales staff probably bonus for sign ups. Dreadful, found out by an accidental marketing call.

My husband ordered an expensive folding table in December. It eventually arrived in January. My husband died in January, the table had been used two, three times at most. It has been behind my sofa but a month or so ago i decided i mighy as well use it myself. It wasn't stable and was really rickety just to try to eat a meal from. After a few times of use, it fell apart, the screws just don't hold it together. Absolute rubbish, expensive rubbish. I emailed easylife to ask for either refund, credit note or lastly a replacement. I told them my husband had died (had been ordered in his name). After 4 emails asking me to get HIS permission to discuss it - i eventually got it through to them he was dead so couldn't get his permission. However they then asked if I had POA - why on Earth ask that, it makes no difference after death. I offered to send a copy of his death certificate- bear in mind this is just to talk about the table, nothing else. Aftet another 4 or 5 emails i gave up trying to get a person who had any common sense so I called customer services. Explained everything to him, his response- read me consumer acts, drone on about how old it was - what, yeh 8 months and used half a dozen times- broken!! Not interested in refunded or credit note or replacement- not even a 'oh we're sorry to hear aboutbyiur loss ' or 'sorry the table is useless ' just quotes that were read parrot fashion. So i will never ever order from them even if they were the last shop on Earth. I am disgusted by their lack of concern, care and they have no empathy whatsoever for customers. I cannot believe their total blindness to the situation. Easy Life you are expensive, uncaring, have no customer care relations and your attitude stinks.

I'm not sure that even one star isn't too much! They continually bombard you with 'phone calls about "reward" schemes and refuse to take NO for an answer - "We will send it to you anyway and you can cancel it if you don't want it." The only reward is that they take money from your account, there certainly don't contribute to an easy life.

These people are scumbags! After repeated calls to join their rewards club, I finally gave in based on being told I'd get a free trial with a rewards package that I could keep, and I could cancel before the end of the free trial. Fair enough, I've got a lot on so didn't think much more of it. The rewards package arrived AFTER the free trial was over, and sure enough, Easylife had taken £74.95 out of my account. How is that a free trial? What am I trialling? Have nothing to do with these scumbags. They're scammers, they're thieves and they're parasites.

Be very wary of this company. I had bought a product from them and had no problems at all with the purchase. Around 6 months later I had a phone call from them asking if I was happy to receive pamphlets from them.( I had been receiving pamphlets and leaflets from them throughout this time) and they then said they would send me a letter- I did NOT give them any card details in this telephone conversation. Around a month after this telephone conversation I received a letter in the post saying that I had signed up to Gardening Club and that they would be charging me £69.99 a year for this. I had a 14 day cooling off period to cancel this ( although there was actually only 8 days left when I received this correspondence.) I immediately rang to cancel and also emailed to cancel and rang my bank to ensure that no money was taken from my bank account. Exactly a month later Easylife withdrew £69.99 from my bank account.

This company are fraudsters who prey on the elderly by bombarding them with emails and phone calls. My 85 year old father had money taken from his bank account on 3 occasions that he had not authorised., sending him some of membership and it was up to him to return and claim back money. Fortunately i took him to his bank Barclays who were brilliant and cancelled the payments and refunded and open a Freud case against Easylife, he also had to have his bank card replaced.

This company fraudulently took money from my bank account on two occasions despite me telling them that I didn't want their Rewards card or join their Garden club. I've created two police incident reports on the Action Fraud website for the fraudulent access of my bank account. You should do it as well if you've told them No but they've still took money.

Disgraceful company. I also get the repeated calls to join their scam Rewards scheme. They change their number frequently to get round call blocking. I gave the guy a right earful this morning - his response 'I'm only doing my job'. I advised him to get a proper job. I WILL NEVER USE EASYLIFE AGAIN. Oh, and if they really cared about people having a bas experience with EasyLife they would put an immediate stop to these scam (illegal) calls.

Utterly appalling company. Quite unsolicited they debited my bank account £74.95 to go on some reward scheme I did not want. This happened after I put the phone down as I was fed up being pestered. This is surely an illegal scam. Easy life - not in the least. It seems they make life hard for many and they should be reported to trading standards. Can Trust Pilot do that ?

They don't leave you alone after you've ordered something. I get frequent calls telling me about a rewards club, I've explained many times over I don't want to join their rewards club and I still get hassled. I've asked them to take my name off their calling list, I hope they do!

Beware! 1 star is only because it is the only way that you can write a review. Appalling company. I regret ever having purchased from them. I should have Googled them first because there is bad press about them everywhere. They have been an annoyance, aggressive, intrusive and underhand ever since. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Easy life continue to share my details with numerous other companies when I have to Them to remove any contact details of mine. Some of these other companies contact me continually even when I have told them what they are doing is unlawful. Some seem to be complete scams
