“I purchased a new speedometer for my Mini Cooper for the total cost of 540.00 after shipping and handling. When the package didn’t arrive and the seller refused to issue a refund, Ebay refused to stand by their claim and provided zero help. I deleted my account, and recommend others do the same. If not stick with tiny BS purchases, Ebay is not fit to handle anything greater.”

“I sold an item that was purchased the buyer paid for the item and for the shipping unfortunately I was unable to ship the item because it was too large so I requested the buyer get a refund for some reason I was charged the shipping I will never use eBay again after I called nobody could help me nobody knew what I was talking about eBay should be shut down Instead of the buyer being refunded his own money I was charged for the buyers refund can someone explain this to me”

“Sold a very rare comic finished sale with buyer, received a stellar review, eBay took 12.25 percent , then refused to pay me for a month , still haven’t received payment even after the sale was completed totally disgusted with customer support. Every answer is a circle, will not sell a high value item again! Their excuse was it’s to protect buyer. But the buyer was happy and reviewed and positive feedback was in three days. They’re banking on the sellers money. There should be a review of what interest they collect daily in holds!”

“Order a item from detriot axle I never received my order and The seller asked ebay to step and REFUSE to give me my refund and closed the case TOTAL RIPOFF I Want my refund EBAY AND DETRIOT AXLE I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO THE BBB and disbursing this with my credit card company.”

“We are a genuine company based in Spain. Even though we have provided all the formally required documents, our professional seller account got suspended with no reason. They did not even bother to give us a detailed explanation! What is this? Are we living in an era of dictatorship?”

“I ordered a product two and a half months ago. It didn't show up on the date it was supposed to so I waited a few more days before contacting ebay (it says it shipped the day after I placed the order) once I heard from ebay they told me to wait a week from the day I sent an email so they could "contact the seller". Well it's been 10 days since and still nothing. I went to look at the user their name is ShopUp do NOT use and I can't find their profile to leave a review. On top of that, I got a notification saying that the item was either removed or not in stock soooooo....where ya at ebay? Give me my money back.”

“I BUY A LOT OF STUFF FROM EBAY . THEIR RETURN AND REFUND POLICIES ARE REAL BAD FOR REAL CLIENTS. I BROUGHT A PCM FOR MY TRUCK FROM ONE OF THEIR VENDORS ON THEIR PLATFORM FLAg ship one inc. the PCM was no good and I returned it but it's been 4 months no refund or any interest from eBay to resolve the issue. shame on eBay for scamming genuine clients.”

“Awful! What has happened to ebay? Changed their system so if you sell you can't receive a payment via PayPal. So now I'm stuck unable to get the £800 I sold an item for until they send micro transactions to my bank. Customer service are awful, they just repeat the same things to you over and over, that's if you can figure out how to find them. EBay prefer to send you through a maze of "answers to questions" rather than give you an actual person. And then 12% of the selling fee!!! I get that it's their platform but honestly, that figure is ridiculous! Greed is what that is. Last time I ever sell anything on eBay, that's for sure!”

“Not only do ebay make billions and avoid tax they actively work to corrode consumers rights. Use ebay and you will get ripped off, buy direct and know who you are buying from. Ebay attracts the worse kind of sellers and does nothing to stop their dodgy dealing, driving out honest buyers and sellers. After being with them 16 years we desperately need a non American platform who does not rip us off.”

“crashma 63 I bought some motorcycle bags from eBay. the seller sent them to the wrong address in the wrong City.. don't have a clue how they got that address.. tried dealing with the seller they refused to help me. tried talking to eBay they refused to help me. they refused my refund and closed the case.”

“ebay is next to Wells Fargo Bank the most dishonest ,incompetent company you can deal with as a seller. Will automatically on every instance allow buyers to return items even though you have no return item policies with missing ,stolen pieces.Also because of covid and packages moving slowly buyers call customer service and complain get there money back and then get packages shortly afterward and seller money is never refunded. No customer service availability in USA and meant to be that way for Phillipines to handle all calls and be of absolutely no help.If you are thinking about ever becoming a seller here definetly do not.”

“What on earth has happened to Ebay?! Someone sold me illegal counterfeit apple products - ebay ignored all my correspondence and closed the case. I'm now £200 down and in receipt of fake products I can't do anything with - sales that were against Ebay's selling policy. No contact numbers available for Ebay and they ignore all customer complaint emails. Amazon far superior in this day in age.”

“eBay is a scam company. I had just started using eBay and ordered an item which was not delivered. Despite several emails which have been ignored I have got nowhere. So, I requested a refund but this to has been ignored. There is no way to make a complaint to or about eBay. Basically eBay has stolen my money. Just use Amazon who have absolutely fantastic customer service. I so wish I had never used eBay.”

“horrible customer service, difficult to contact them and they dont give attention, I received a faulty expensive item, although the resolution center got in contact with the seller, they never answred who was supped to pay the return of a non working item (DHL asked 400 euro and post 114) So I wonder where is the so called protection?”

“EBay now set the postage charges way more than they should be. They force you to use paypal if you want to sell and give them even more money since they own paypal. Then paypal keep what's left for ages. EBay makes it impossible to grab a bargain on2nd hand clothes - $5 for the item, $9-15 for the postage.”
