Review Title: eBay Withholds Payment for Successful Sales — Unacceptable! Review: I sold four iPhone 13s through eBay, all successfully delivered with satisfied customers. Despite this, eBay has refused to release my payment of $800. I provided all tracking information and proof of delivery, yet they continue to withhold my money without a valid explanation. Customer service has been unhelpful, offering no resolution. This experience has damaged my trust in eBay as a platform for selling. Sellers beware — even if you follow all the rules, you might not get paid!

eBay used to be a good company 20 years ago. No more. The fees are now more than 20%. eBay escrowed by funds for no explainable reason. The complexity has become insane and getting actual assistance for help is not going to happen. I will never use again.

E-bay is a host for fraudulent sellers. I have issued several instances/reports i.e. at least (6) of criminal fraudulent acts by sellers and each and every time e-bay responds by telling me that they find the seller NOT to be at fault. This response is of course a ROBOTIC response but at the same time tells me e-bays policy with respect and in contradiction to the law. E-bay evades any and all responsibility, even after proof has been issued regarding criminal fraudulent acts. Is this the AMERICAN way? I am coming to an end re my e-bay account and it's sad because I trusted e-bay, but no more. E-bay has lost it's personal connection with it's buyers and has developed a way to rid themselves of any issues or complaints/reports from buyers, the people who have been cast aside and whereas e-bay has dictated the buyers have lost their money and their concerns of sellers abuse is of no consequence and it's a dead end. E-bay's website mentions that any decision made by e-bay or it's robot can be challenged. This again is false and I have (6) examples to prove this. Even when you contact e-bay and speak to an agent, it must be an office in the Philippines where they pay peanuts to monkeys.

I sold artwork on eBay for almost 20 years. Over the years the fees increased steadily until they were taking about 25% of each purchase. In recent months, they also started tacking on penalties for unexplained additional shipping charges that they never explained that cost $20 to $23 on every shipment. They made it hard to reach a customer service rep, but even after you talked to the reps they would promise to look into the additional shipping charges, but the conversations were rarely even acknowledged and they never responded with a resolution. They just kept taking my money. On items I sold in the $50 range, they were taking almost all of the $50 for themselves leaving nothing for me. If you are looking to sell on-line, avoid eBay. They appear to be focused on taking all of the money for themselves.

I ordered a wrong sized watch band from Ebay and, because I was pleased with the item, requested to simply exchange it for the correct size. Ebay's apparently computer-generated solution was for me to reorder the item and they would reimburse me. The website Ebay directed me to for the repurchase is non-existent! Plus, Ebay could not guarantee the correct size was in fact available. Tiring of the dysfunctional robotics, I requested a refund but was refused. Never again, Ebay! I'll stay with Amazon.

Never buy or sell at this platform. It has horrible customer service, high fees and they can keep your money without any explication. Just horrible.

Not good company as they used to be before. I bought an item on ebay with coupon. They weren't able to confirm my order, and then they offered to ask for refund. But why? If i want an item? Customer service wasn't able to understand and explain even, why they could not confirm my order. The seller even didn't receive my order...

Happiness and Joy can't express exactly how i feel now after recovering all what i lost to this investment scammers who took everything from my retirement savings, I was even so scared to tell my children about it for almost five months, not until i met my highschool mate at the bus station near the metro downtown and discussions led me to mention my problem and she gave me solution to it. She introduced me to TheresachinRecovery INC, these guys here at TheresachinRecovery INC gave me a very amazing and professional support after contacting them with Email: t h e r e s a c h i n 1 2 1 2 @ g m a i l . c o m Call/WhatsApp: +  1  4  3  5  5  0  0  8  3  0  4  they helped me do my recovery and i got everything back even with a little extra due to the rates/inconveniences. If anyone here has the same issue, do not hesitate to reach them. Remain Blessed!

I recently bought 2 sets of tires using eBay. When purchasing the tires I was asked to give the make, year , model and trim of each vehicle. The car tires were perfect and installed locally. eBay showed that the tires I ordered for the truck were a match however these tires weren’t the right load rating for my truck. I attempted to return them through eBay and they would only send one label, Fed-ex needed 4 labels and the cost to ship back was more than I paid for the tires. I contacted Customer Service and they refused to take any action to solve the issue and I went up one level which was the same response. I wouldn’t have purchased the tires had the information been correct. So I am stuck with the loss of the cost of the tires and no resolution or help at all from eBay. I am so disappointed with this outcome. I have since seen a commercial on TV the eBay guarantees the parts will fit. NOT TRUE! The information is wrong and they won’t do anything to help the buyer.

eBay is the worst place to sell. Buyers are scamming and eBay sellers are scamming too. Being honest and trying to be a correct seller on eBay is impossible. No matter how much you pay high percentages to advertise, even if you are a top seller, eBay will screw you over, meaning your sales will decrease drastically.

eBay customer service is non-existent. They speak to me like they’re the parent with all the power and control and I’m a child, when the reality is I’m 62 years old with more business acumen and customer relationship management than all their staff put together. They repeat everything I say back to me to waste time most likely because overseas staff are paid by the minute. They lock me out of my account all the time and then provide no immediate resolution. (Imagine if this was your bank). They reduce me to tears time and time again by speaking to me disaparingly. They have suppliers selling fake goods but they don’t care and don’t refund the item, impose sanctions on their supplier, or pay the consequential damage. Yet, they thank me for being a customer for 21 years. eBay, I’m delighted your loosing money; I’m delighted your customers are leaving you; and I hope you go bust because you deserve to! You’ve had the market place monopoly for far too long and taken your customers from granted. Your customer service is narcissist. Shame on you eBay.
