I also wish I had read these reviews before placing an order on 31st Jan. As of today, 20th Feb, the goods are still to arrive. As others report, no response from "support" either by email or phone. I suspect this company is in trouble but that is no excuse for not fulfilling orders for which they have accepted payment.

This company is an absolute nightmare. The staff on the telephone lines sound like they have learning difficulties and keep you on for so long whilst they consult their manuals and supervisors. Not only that but turns out you’re paying for their incompetence because it’s a premium rate number. Avoid at all costs.

Nothing, was about to order the extending Hedge Trimmer but, thankfully, read the reviews on here. Thanks to everyone who has reviewed what seems a shambolic company and I hope you get some recompense. Off to order from Argos, Screwfix or Toolstation where I may pay more but at least can collect the same day!

So pleased I read the customer reviews before I purchased anything from them. Out of the 20 I read only 2 were ok. I will NOT be buying from them....

Ordered something over a week ago. Item still not here. Phoned them and they said the item was out of stock when I made the purchase. Still took my money though. Paid an extra tenner for next-day delivery and still waiting. There was nothing on the website to say the item was out of stock. If Argos had what I was looking for, I wouldnt be waiting for it from this stupid company.

I ordered low value item 24th January. Still not received it although they charged 4.95 for 48 hour delivery. I sent an email to support 29th about 9 o'clock but no response. I have just gone in to reviews and wish I had done this before I ordered because there are so many negative reviews. I shall have a word with the correct authorities to see if anything that can be done to stop this company from trading .

I’ve purchased an item back on the 30th Dec and paid for next day delivery, We are now on the 24th January and still be arrival. E-Mails ignored, cost of calls extortionate. Top marks to this company for inefficiency abounding. DONT ORDER FROM THESE HALF WITS

As apparently many others I have been disappointed with the total lack of response to my requests for help. My EKELV2 (MK11) garden vac built 10/09/2018, and bought probably a few months after, started to randomly cut out a couple of months ago, despite fairly little usage. I realised that there must have been a loose electrical wire contact and asked Eckman for a suggested solution. Several times. Absolutely no response, so 1) consider whether their products are reliable (I certainly have a view) and 2) once they have your money you're on your own so think twice and then again.

This is I think the Worst Company I have ever tried to deal with. Not only did we have to Cancel the Order but they Charged me £14.50 in phone Charges fir the pleasure. DONT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE. JT

Unfortunately this is the first time and my last time that I will be ordering from this company, as I have to say that I am deeply disappointed with them! When their leaflet came through my letterbox, I had never heard of this company, and although slightly sceptical, the plants seemed really nice, so I went against my instincts, and ordered some pansies on the 7th December. At the time of writing this review on the 6th January I still had not received them! There was no tracking facility available so I could not track the package, and when I called to try to get to the bottom of it, I couldn't get through for about half an hour. Therefore as a result I decided to cancel my order, and I will not be ordering from them again. I wished that I had done my homework beforehand and read the other reviews before placing the order! Please don't get caught out the way I did!

Load of rubbish .order an item 8 Dec now 14 spent 2 emails requesting where the item was from customer services . No reply getting my money back through credit card . DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARG POLE.

Terrible customer service. Ordered three weeks ago. Account debited immediately. Not advised that one item was out of stock so the whole order would not be processed. My emails were ignored. Three phone calls later, was advised not back in stock until next June. Customer service adviser was not very helpful and cut me off when I asked for an email confirmation of my cancellation. Wish I had read the reviews about this company before I ordered. Do not use.

Over charged for hedge trimmer, said additional discount applied at check out, not so. Sent photo of proof regards price. Totally ignored all communication. Would have given no stars if that was an option.

This hedge trimmer is so top heavy it is impossible to use even with the shoulder strap. A total waste of money.

Only giving it one star in order to write review. Never buy from this company!!! Very prompt in taking an order, but if anything is wrong the customer service is abominable. Even if you manage to get through on the phone (which will take determination and at least forty tries), the person on the other end will do nothing to help. I waited months for my order to arrive, was sent the wrong thing, had written reassurances from the customer service via email that customer services on the phone then denied existed, and have decided to cut my losses. Please heed the warnings. You may be lucky (I have no idea how good their products are), but customer service as it is normally understood is an unknown concept to the Eckman company. I wish I had read these reviews before I made my order.

Bought an Electric Weed Cleaner, actually via Home Shopping but with similar poor delivery to other reviewers. There is a wire brush but I used the nylon brush which is quickly wearing away. Eckman customer service did answer my email but only to tell me that replacement brushes are not available. It would appear that once this brush is fully worn the weeder becomes only fit for scrap. An expensive mistake on my part.

BEWARE! Not a good company to deal with at all. They owe me money and are fobbing me off. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOT! I bought an extendable hedge trimmer from Eckman, it was reduced. When it arrived, I realised right away it was far too heavy for me to use, and immediately re-parcelled it. I phoned Eckman who arranged a Yodel pickup. I have not received my refund. This was months ago. I have rung Eckman twice, both times I’ve to to hang on the line for ages. The first time I was told they didn’t have the money ‘GoGroupie’ has it, apparently I’d bought it through them. I’ve never heard of them and their name was never mentioned until now. She said she’d tell ‘GoGroupie’ that the trimmer had been returned, and to refund me. All good... But no refund came. I rang again, this time I was told that I would have to contact ‘Go Groupie’ myself, as it was nothing to do with Eckman, they just supplied the trimmer. I cannot contact Gogroupie online as I don’t have a ‘voucher number’. I can’t ring them, I could write to them, but I think I’d get the same response - nothing. I’m only thankful I didn’t buy something even more expensive for them. Go elsewhere. I wish I had.
