Ordered 2 items, 1 of which was an expensive piece of kit. The cheaper item arrived, the expensive didn't. According to Eckman, I received this item - even though I didn't sign for it. They are slow to reply to emails, and almost 3 weeks later, this is still ongoing. I have a troublesome tree I can't sort out, and I don't have the money to buy another chainsaw. I'm disappointed and angry.

they collected my money for 2 x 1 litre bottle of lawn weed killer, supplied 750 m bottles, which are half empty. 4 phone calls and 3 emails, no one has resolved my issue. I have had more support buying from ebayers than this company. They should not be allowed to operate on line

Ordered shears & Scissors' sharpener on 4th July 2016 and received the Item on 6th July 2016.I have seen lots of negative reviews, some of them, quite nasty, but this has certainly not been my experience!

Trimmer is working well and comes with easy instructions. Its a bit on the heavy side but I guess a male could use with out any problems. Package was damage on sides, apart from this a good all round service,

0 STARS - DO NOT TRUST! We received a telecopic hedge trimmer/chainsaw as a wedding present - our wedding was August 2015, however it's nearly our anniversary and we still don't have a reliable and safe product to use. There was a huge delay in delivery, so after much chasing we did receive it in September. Shortly after this, there was a fault so we had to contact customer support - they arranged collection and replacement, which was done. THEN...the product returned to us had a crucial part missing, a part which we did initially have, responsible for adjusting the pole length - as you can imagine, very dangerous to use without this as the trimmer head keeps falling down towards your face - UNSAFE. I voiced my concerns via email to their technical support, I sent an image of our product and a copy of the image in the instruction manual so that it would be clear what is missing. NO HELP received after 5 emails between April/May, in fact they just ignore you. When I call the customer service helpline (an 0844 number!), they are generally polite but aren't familiar with the products, hence they advised I seek help via the technical support email address they provided. They said they were prompt in responding to emails!?...they don't even reply never mind promptly. After no luck through email, I rang customer support again and a representative said she said she would kindly look into it. She called back to say she had found out what I need and would send it out - INCORRECT PART SENT. NOT SURPRISED. I am now giving myself a few weeks off to recover before dealing with this awful attempt of customer care again. They take a month to deliver then have the cheek to say it's been over a month so they cannot offer a refund!!! I cannot believe such companies exist and I will be reporting them to trading standards. There is one thing they're quick at doing and that is TAKING YOUR MONEY. Disgusting, never mind our overgrown hedges!!!

I ordered a hedge trimmer BECAUSE of the 1-day delivery option and paid an extra £3 for this. It did not arrive next day. I emailed to ask why and said I want the £3 back. I got an email but only to say it was despached ,expect in 3-5 days, viz standard delivery. I emailed again saying I had only bought it because of 1-day delivery and was going away. I was tempted to say to come and collect it as I wanted one right away. They seem to have no communication of data on the computer even within the same dept whether sales or customer services. I got very frustrated with the whole thing, got my £3 back only ( no extra compensation) and no communication that they had done so and more importantly, NO APOLOGY. Not only would I not recommend them but I'd recommend NOT to buy from them.

I ordered the 18v Li-on rechargeable cultivator and spare battery on 04.06.16 Cultivator arrived quarter to seven in the evening on 09.06.16 - No spare battery. Yes the advert is right 4 hours charging and 25 mins use, hence "purchase" for spare battery. Rang 10.06.16 where is spare battery, eckman - it's in the box, me - no it isn't, eckman - there is another parcel check label, me - label states 1 of 1. eckman - wait another 3 to 5 days. Despite many repeated phone calls as to where is the battery eckman responses: - Will order it again and get it sent, The warehouse has allocated one for you, Item despatched 16.06.16 will be with you in 3 to 5 days We will call the courier (Yodel) and advise where it is. (joke) The courier can't find the parcel. We will resend, you will have to wait another 3 to 5 days We can't send it express. This now makes if you can believe it 3 despatches of the same item - I don't. Am contemplating involving the police as to the loss / theft of my property I paid for it - if it has been despatched, and I haven't received then it must have been stolen. You get 2 stars as the cultivator is powerful and does what it says on the tin, You lose stars for the disgraceful and shambolic way you behave and operate towards your customers. Recommend eckman? don't think so do you?

UPDATE 3 28th June 2016 Very pleased to say Eckman have been true to their word, full refund for solar lights and the return postage has been fully refunded. They have earned another star. Also they made sure they emailed me straight back the last three emails.

I ordered a spare battery for my Eckman Hedge Trimmer on 6th June paid extra for next day delivery 7.99 today is 24th June and I still have not received the battery let alone the refund for my next day delivery charge despite many phone calls. Honestly this company is so bad I shall never buy form them again and shall let all of my friends know what kind of company Eckman is regardless of what they say in their catalogues....... ANOTHER BAD REVIEW: I ordered a telescopic hedge trimmer on Monday, paid £3 extra for next-day delivery, emailed and called and was promised immediate results and now it's Thursday evening (3 days later) and still nothing. I made time today to cut the hedge. I should sue and I might reach for my lawyer. Why can't they just be honest and say something honest: "it's chaos in our warehouse mate; our main driver just walked out after putting a virus into our computer system, the courier won't deal with us for unpaid bills and, let's face it, our customer service department is a joke. You'll be lucky to get your hedge trimmer within a week. What we need is some hard working immigrants. Best bet is to come down to the store, and if you pay by cheque the company might go bust before they can cash it."

I ordered a part via a phone call they took down the wrong house number and then just left it at the incorrect address as there was no one. Now they are out of stock. I live in France and was going to pick the part up on a weekend visit to my daughter.

UPDATE 2 Am pleased to announce I have received refund from Eckman for value of goods returned. Still waiting for refund re the cost of return and believe they will send it by cheque. It is such a shame they do not realise that communication is the key and if they answered emails when they receive them customer satisfaction would result

Ordered an item on Tuesday paying extra for 24 hour delivery. By Thursday I hadn't received the item so I sent an email. By Friday evening no reply to my email and still no goods so I phoned Eckman who only offered to refund the £3 extra paid for 24 hour delivery. Parcel tracking wasn't working on their system and the company refused to offer a full refund unit the item was returned, effectively making me responsible. Yet another bad review for Eckman, no wonder they don't use social media!

UPDATE 17.06.16 Have received email apologising from customer services saying full refund plus carriage charges will be refunded by cheque. I will update when/if cheque received. At least one of the email messages to them was read and replied to, worth another star if the refund arrives.

I Purchased and paid for a Eckman 3000W Leaf Blower, Vacuum & Shredder 17/5/16 including delivery payment, I hadn't received the item by the 31/5/16 so emailed Eckman sales team to confirm delivery. Received a reply that due to high demands of the item they had ran out of stock, and was awainting new stock delivery (3/6/16). It is now the 15/6/16 and I am still awaiting delivery of my purchase. I recommend that you Do Not order from this company, as you will not receive your item that you have purchased and paid for in good faith. Extremely very poor customer service.

I ordered Solar sensor spotlight BOGOF on 1/6/2016. Email received from Eckman that my order has been despatched on 2/6/2016 .My account was debited on 2/6/2016. The order has not been delivered as at today 13/6/2016. Email sent to Eckman with no response. The courier never turned up to deliver the order instead lied that there was no access to the property, whereas this is the 3rd time I ordered from eckman and there was no delivery problem with the previous orders. I think their courier is NOT reliable . My order number is 67484. I'm still waiting for the delivery of my order after 13days of placing the order.

i am trying to order a gear drive thats badly worn on a telescopic hedge trimmer numerous phone calls numerous emails not one reply keep telling me spares will email me be honest i dont think theres a spares department never buy a eckman tool again totally and utterly disgusted

Solar lights arrived broken, returned them same day asking for refund. Received email saying replacement goods on the way, 3 days after the returns dept signed for returned goods and after sending copy of returns note by email to Lisa in Eckman customer "care" asking for refund. No response. Telephoned customer care and was cut off. Phoned again and spoke to Sales. Was told delivery by Yodel cancelled and there would be refund . Yesterday Yodel tried to deliver the lights I did not want which were supposed to have been cancelled. I have sent another email asking them to refund and had not accepted replacement delivery. Like others no responses to all emails and have now decided if I am not contacted within a couple of days I will contact Trading Standards And surprise surprise no refund in my bank yet. What abominable customer service.
