“Myself and my partner recently bought a contract phone from the EE shop in Cardiff St Davids Centre. The Experia l1. We were greeted by the assistant manager who made a unnecessary comment straight away that he could see my breasts through my top! Bearing in mind we had our 4 year our daughter with us! We were then sat down and spoke to another guy who was very helpful and gave us a good deal for the contract. However we were then sent to the back of the shop to collect the phone etc. A different guy again gave us the phone in the box and bag without showing us it and said he had put the sim in there for us.
Once we had got home I tried to put the memory card into the phone and noticed that the inside of the phone was dented and paper had been jammed where he had entered the SIM card. We went back into Cardiff which is an hour drive for us and was greeted by the assistant manager again. I calmy explained about he situation and straight away the assistant manager said ' you must of done that' with a stinking attutude! He accused us of ramming the memory card in the wrong slot which caused it to dent and push the paper into the SIM card. I was more annoyed with his attitude and tone of voice towards myself partner and 4 year old daughter who was cwtched into her dad at this point!
My partner told the assistant manager that he would like to speak to the guy that entered the SIM card because he should of shown us after he had done it instead of putting it straight into the box and bag. The assistant manager with a stinky cocky attitude said ' well I'm his manager so you can wait and speak to him but your not having a refund' I said fine we will wait and speak to him. As myself my partner and my daughter sat down waiting the assistant manager follows us and said 'no point in waiting we aren't going to refund you, you've done this damage to our phone you won't have a refund.' I said well I'm sure the guy should have shown us that he put the SIM card in for us so we could check he hadn't done it correctly! With the most horrid tone of voice i have ever heard he replied 'no he wouldn't of shown you because you haven't got your memory card with you for him to Insert it'.
As you can see this was going on for a good 10 minutes before he tried to get rid of us out of the shop. My daughter was getting upset so we left.
As we walked past the shop 10 mins later doing our shopping the assistant manager and another guy was stood by the door making comments and laughing! Which personally I think is VERY unprofessional and shouldn't be working there!! I, my partner or any family or friends will most certainly won't be going with EE again and definitely have warned everyone a bought the staff in the EE shop in the st davids centre near the Disney store! What a horrid disrespect man especially in front of a 4 year old who was very scared! I am ashamed to say I even went into that shop!”
“Excellent customer service always, EE have traditional customer service and ensure the customer is happy. They call back to ensure all is as it should be and never fail to be polite and helpful. All members of staff across the board have been exemplary.”
“I found my late wife's mobile phone recently, she died in 2014.
There was a sticker on back of phone where I had recorded the amount still in her account.
So I thought I would check whether it was still available, knowing the account was probably cancelled.
Low and behold! EE have refunded me this 'lost' amount! I am so grateful to you, I have been a customer of EE for years and remain so,no complaints”
“If there was an option to put 0, I would be selecting that!
I cancelled my contract with EE several months ago, only to find out they never cancelled it and decided to keep charging me!
Because I didn't know EE had decided to keep doing this until I received a letter from a debt collection company, my credit rating is now ruined!
I have been trying to resolve this issue for several months with no success! Every time I try to get through to an individual at EE I'm constantly being transferred between different departments or placed on hold for so long that I have to hang up to call again to try to talk to someone!
The customer service for EE is one of the most pathetic experiences I have ever had in my life!
So if you want to avoid the headache from hell I suggest you avoid EE.”
“I've been a EE customer for 6yrs. Spoke to an adviser to change the business plan I'm on as its extortionate. The adviser was condescending, lacked empathy for me as a customer.....and quite frankly gave me the impression that they couldn't care less whether I remained a customer or not. If I ran my company like this I would go out of business....appalling service.”
“I phoned up to cancel my contract and was asked an obscure 'security' question about where I bought my phone which was four years old. I said it was a phone shop but I couldn't remember which specific one and was told they couldn't access my account then. I asked why don't they ask me an actual security question like my dob or address or credit card details and she said no that's the question they use.. I now have to go in store, verify who I am then phone the tramps again to cancel.. all this after waiting 20 mins on hold to speak to someone. Bullshit customer service from a bullshit company.”
“I was charged for two months of extra internet usage after the end of my contract without any reasonable explaination. Their customer service is very very poor. I was actually charged for calling them. Aviod them like a plague and think twice before you decide to donate your money to these cowboys.”
“I couldn't get EE to honour an Amazon voucher and that was the deciding factor in choosing EE; customer services just give the run-around, I'm very much regretting choosing EE”
“very bad service, not correct to the customers, not contacting on time for any existing issues to prevent anything which would affect the customer, many times are useless on the phone only wasting customer`s time and and money, an adequate in are most of the issues.
never again will be EE customer even they to be the last provider in the world”
“EE recently handled a call from me about my phone service and handset. I can't tell you how refreshing a call it was. When I came off the phone I actually felt like I just had to tell someone what a great experience I had just had in the role of customer. I work in hospitality and the service I received from EE was exactly what I wold be training my staff to aspire to. The whole call was not just efficient and professional but also Polite and sincere which is very rare these days. I have had another call since then and it even bested the first! In no way was I made to feel like just another number infact the staff took the time in both instances to be personal, and went above and beyond to ensure that I was pleased with the outcome of the call. A small comment I made about the signal not being great in my locality, at the beginning of the call had been passed on to another member of staff who then went and spoke on my behalf to the technical team, relayed the information to me, gave me a credit on my account for the inconvenience and consoled with me over the loss of a loved one... none of which was the point of my call. I came off the phone feeling lifted! Not the norm in these times! well done EE”
“Advisor cheated us! He said one price for my amd partners phone contracts but at the end bill come much bigger with different prices. On contract advisor didnt write down prices. The last step when he put a receipt we didnt check it but there was all truth! Even for insurance he said its 8£ a month but at real its 12 £. And we can't prove it cuz all information is on receipt not contract. What should we do? I dont wanna pay that money monthly....im not ready for expensive bills! Its Lincolns store on 309 High street. Sales advisor who cheated us is Raymond!”
