“over all good ,was booked for wed van broke down wanted to come following Monday but I said no so came Thursday all done in day BUT scaffolding did not come down till following Thursday”

“Pretty well faultless. The scaffolders thought to erect on the wrong side of the house but were quick to agree to the back! Faultless is faint praise since the care to help us to understand all the aspects of the proposal and then the concern to keep us informed at each stage was exemplary. If only all contractors performed as well. From the start Paddy Hill explained the process, the costs and benefits very clearly; and with no pressure to decide, asking if he might phone after a few days and assuring us of the availability of help and advice on the freephone number. Thank you.”

“From first contact to installation and follow up support, I have been most impressed with the professional attitude of EEC Solar. The way they conduct their business is probably the main reason I chose this company above others who I had also asked for quotations. They offered value for money and a service I felt complete confidence in. I thought each person I dealt with, in person or on the phone, was knowledgeable in their work, courteous, competent and trustworthy. The work was completed very quickly and efficiently and I was kept well informed of progress and the stages of the process throughout. The installers consulted me regarding where the various "bits of hardware" should be sited inside the house, which I really appreciated and after a full hard days work, left without me having to do anything. I would like to sincerely thank EEC for all their help and exemplary service and would have no hesitation in highly recommending them.”

“Your blurb was seen on the internet; I responded and you got back to me quickly. Within a short time an appointment was made for your representative to view the house for solar panels. On his arrival he quickly got on with his part of the assessment. He patiently went on with explanations 'of the paperwork'. As their was nothing untoward we agreed a time for the installers. They were late arrivers having misjudged the time of travel from their place of work to my address and subsequently could not complete the job on the same day. They returned the next day and completed the remaining work. As I am not in the country I am assured by those at home that everything expected has/is happening as expected”

“I we generally very pleased with the service. Quick and efficient. We was surprised to have the panels in and working so quickly. A couple of points that would have helped the overall feel good factor. Firstly - one of the reasons for choosing EEC was because we felt that a good job was going to be done on the fixing to our slate roof. I had been told fixing to slate roofs cost more because of the time involved in cutting the slate and adding the lead flashing. We was fine with this and felt that it would be down well and it was something that was important to us. When the guys came to do the fitting they used solar limpets. This did not match to our expectations. The fitter explained that they were a new and better method. He explained how it worked and suggested that I look at the website which I did. The reason for saying this is because it is all about customer expectation. Getting what you thought you were paying for. It would have greatly helped if we had been told about the change rather than us feeling a little concerned on the day that we were getting what we paid for. Secondly I think it would have helped if we could have had a definitive agreement on where the invertor would go before the installation. The place that we were expecting to put it was not big enough. The back up plan was not big enough either. I felt put on the stop to make a decision which could have been thought about before the installation. I would therefore recommend that the survey ensures that the invertor will fit in the proposed site rather than leave it to a rushed decision on the day. I hope that you find these comments helpful. “Phoned today to ask EEC can ensure that the scaffold required for our PV installation next week is removed by Friday, as it will be in our neighbour's garden, and we want to minimize the inconvenience. “Quick easy and competent survey, arrangements made for fitting which were hampered by the weather (high winds) as soon as weather improved final fitting and commissioning took place swiftly. “Professional approach from start to finish, first class installation completed in a professional manner, panels up and running and excellent assistance given with the form filling required to register for FIT payments. I also had the Iboost system fitted to use any excess production of energy into my hot water tank, great idea. Thanks to the team at EEC I hope to be reducing my energy bills considerably over the next few years.”

“Knowledgeable rep called who knew his stuff and gave me a price then and there. Turned out to be the cheapest although all three companies I contacted were within £250 of each other. Turned out when the installers came that because of the size of the slates and the method of their attachment that the job was more complicated and time consuming than had been thought, such that it took two days instead of one. However the guys doing the job just got on with it and there was never any question of the price being affected. At all times the backroom staff at EEC were at great pains to ensure that everything was by the book and that I was happy and understood fully what was going on. I also had help when I needed it in filling out the feed-in-tariff application, which went through no problem. All in all a very professional installation in all its constituent parts. I would recommend EEC to anyone contemplating having solar installed.”
