“I'm reasonably pleased with Eir products & service to date for decades. I would recommend them. I was extremely pleased today because a complex TV problem was resolved within minutes over the phone by a Staff member.
Technology is changing so rapidity that it can be hard to keep customers informed on new info. & hard for service staff members to keep up to date on these changes & information they need to know & provide over the phone. A staff member couldn't resolve the problem yesterday. I got it fixed today.
Finally, Eir have over 2 million customers and I reckon they get a hard time with service reviews becauses 90% would give them 5/5 here but they bother to review. A very very small portion gets poor service & you see it here. . Don't be discouraged I would recommend them {A Genuine Customer}”
“I had occasion to contact Eir re activating an old landline number. Having almost given up I decided to ring sales on 1800773729 and waiting 30 mins to talk to a person I was put through to a gentleman named Robert ( I suspect in the cork office). Well he couldn’t have been more helpful , explaining the process, answering all my many questions and generally being a nice person.
However to get to him I kept getting an automated request to put in the phone number & then to be told there was no record of that number. …

“Hi I was reluctant to change with notice required from Virgin and hassle etc.
From the Eir sales to the installation it all went 100% on date and time.
It was an awkward installation 50M in old blocked ducting etc for the new Fibre cable . I wanted the Router in the centre of house as I had existing data cables to plug in etc .
Sean Keenan the engineer explained everything and the Router setup etc he had it all completed in a few hours.
Set it up and tested.

Broadband costs have increased a lot I opted for 24 months €39.99 a month including phone of peak calls.
I hope Eir keep 24 month disconnected contract to avoid having to change providers.
I am looking at the €9.99 sim only plan no limits.
I would recommend changing should have changed last year.

“As this survey is dated 1-11-17, regards purchase etc., at that time, I will use this survey in relation to recent enquires to EIR, about changing existing phone bundle, to a more realistic phone package. So on 13- 8-18 when speaking to EIR operator Chelsea, and she understood, that my existing phone bundle, was not suitable for the use I was making of it, she changed existing phone bundle, to a new Off Peak Bundle, covering Landline - Mobile Phone. In doing so, this in turn reduced my phone bill at that time, of which I am appreciative and thankful for that. I would like EIR to know how helpful and interested, Chelsea showed in doing something about improving, what was a totally inadequate phone bundle I had, and how expensive it was costing. It did not make any sense or value in any way whatsoever, which I had been on, for quite some time, not knowing, that this could be changed and improved. When Chelsea realised this, she was able to change from where I was to a new phone bundle, and if I had not rang EIR, I would have been left on a totally unsuitable expensive phone bundle, that I have been on for quite some time, that there was completely no need for, which could have been changed long before now, instead of I ringing and enquiring, to know is there anything can be done, to make this phone bundle - phone bill, more realistic and proper value, for the way I was using it. Again I say well done to Chelsea, in making the improvement to this, and I wish her well in her career with EIR, of which I am sure with her skills and determination, Chelsea will go from strength to strength, in every opportunity that will present itself, of which, she will find the solutions. I say well done to you Chelsea, and good luck and thank you. ------ On 16-8-18, when I had to ring EIR in connection about accessing voice-mail etc., the operator Barbara, from Brazil, a most helpful, courteous person, explained very simply to me how to do this as it had been some time since I had used this facility. It was purely by accident, I happen to mention, that I had only been talking to EIR recently, in relation of phone bundle etc., that Barbara immediately took complete control of my now existing phone bundle, and turned that in a totally new direction, of which I was just mystified, that this was possible ! But this is what this amazing girl Barbara did, of which I am more than thankful. Barbara was now able to create, I believe a Rolling Contract, covering landline - mobile phone, now at a further reduction to a phone bill, that I have tried everything down through the years to rectify, but Barbara certainly took major steps in correcting that, and again I say thank you to Barbara, for her Trojan work in doing this, and committed determination to improve, in any way, that was possible to do this. Barbara is a remarkable girl, of which EIR, should be so proud of her talents, skills, determination, and confidence in dealing with any situation, that is no problem to her.
