I'm not sure of the legitimacy of the 5 star reviews. I know for a fact they removed my one star review so here I am again to put it back.
They are bullies and harass costumers with threatening messages given them deadlines to do certain things that they are not obligated by law to do, they are using fear tactics to scare people.
My family is vulnerable with disabled children and even that doesn't stop them.
Even when you're proving endlessly your in no position to be able to afford the utterly ridiculous prices they don't leave you alone.
I honestly think they want us dead, the anxiety and stress they are causing could very easily push some people over the edge.
Just because the prices are lawful doesn't mean their morally justifiable. That's something customer service needs to take on board and not talk to people like it's okay to be putting their families through poverty, anxiety, stress and using intimidating, threatening techniques on people!”

“Bad customer service I was recently called out to a customer who had no heating after checking it out noticed she had no hot water or heating being an elderly lady needed to get sorted asap problem was with the smart meter not turning on off peak heating took two hours to get them on the phone to be told its not urgent as the electric was still on a further 30 minute's managed to get them to understand the urgency they agreed to send out an engineer with in 4 hours he turned up and changed meter saying everything was OK I phoned the customer next day Sunday morning to check was all working no was the reply went straight round to check problem and they engineer/meter man had connected it up wrong got in touch with customer service to explain and send photos of the mistake as I think they should pay for call out and time to rectify they said to send account to customer and they will credit her I disagree she should have to pay communication with them for 3 months now got a reply I am not named on her account so that is the last of it so i would say stay clear poor service robbers”
“E-on blocks your phone number - you can't call then!!!
I want to tell, that I was impressed that if E-on doesn't like you - they block you))) you can't call them any more.
We made a contract with them, later should put counter readings in their App, but my mum forget about this. It's our mistake and we agreed, that they canceled our contract (for me even ok, that they sent the letter, dated 08/02 with info, that they canceled from 01/02). And yes, we were as a Client only one month, they spend time for us, preparing contract and consulting.
But BLOCK then?)))) firstly my daughter couldn't call, she told, that there is no call. Then me- I could call and communicate, but then call was interrupted and other attempts were unsuccessful- no possibility to call any more. The same has my mum. So they put in system our telephone numbers and made block)))) it's so funny, act like children)))
For this company Client is no important!”
“Incompetent on many levels. When I had a problem I spoke to 6 or 7 eon employees. All said they’d resolve my issues, would pass on to the relevant department blah, blah….. I had to chase every one of my concerns up. I get the impression they just want to get rid of you and say ‘they take my issue’ seriously etc. All eon are interested in is making money, you don’t really matter, but your money does.”
“Multiple issues over the years. Forced onto them after my energy provider went bust. Tried to have smart meter fitted, and they did not turn up. Once they did, they say they could not fit it as in an apartment block which smart meters could not be fitted to. Then when looking for a refund after leaving the property, have failed to refund credit built on the account after 2.5 months of trying.
There’s no complaints department, no manager that her back to you, just call handlers who state they will get someone to contact. This never happens. Avoid this company.”

But incompetent to sort out problems!
Been trying to or six months to sort out Invoice for in excess of £6000,- for uses of electric for two weeks? Impossible as my average uses is around £90,00 a Month's!
They do not read Emails, if they respond, they come back with everything else except the answers you are looking for. Have now after six months passed everything on to the Ombudsman. Never had a Meter reading carried out by Eon since the begining of 2020, even Ofgem says that they have to carry out a reading once a Year, which Eon denied .
If you believe your invoice is wrong, stop the direct debit and contact the Ombudsman before Eon will ripp you of, and uses your Money to invest in there Bonuses.

“Eon has got to be the most stupidly expensive gas company, with the price cap I still pay over 165 for electricity for a tiny flat while my previously larger flat was a £100 a month with British gas.”
“Agreed to installation of smart meters on offer of £100 for gas and electricity. Two fitters later, EDF claiming that I would need to have an electrician present at my expense to ensure safety because of car charger, I compained to E.on and was offered £20 for inconvenience and agreed to cancel installation. They did not cancel it, which I had to do myself having spent £180 on car charger service visit. Whole process including eon compaints procedure absolutely dreadful”
“Tried to join Eon. Asked what their unit rates are and standing charges are. Reply, we can't give you that information as you aren't a customer. You have to go online, put in your postcode, sign up to a direct debit. Then you will get the figures. If you aren't happy you have 14 days to cancel. What a whole lot of hassle from a company that seeks to hide it's costs from you.”
“Disgusting 2 days charges. Stealing peoples money. Estimating prices every two weeks they just adding in to customers account and charging them. This is robbery”
“Eon people are real thieves, very dishonest and apply very high tariffs without warning you or giving explanation. They robbed him of hundreds and hundreds of pounds until i had to switch to another one. I have never left a bad review before.. but these guys deserve the worse. I am a surgeon and take care and save people lives. I have never encountered such a dishonesty.”
“DO NOT use EON Next - In dispute since I bought this mobile home in Nov 2021 -August 2022 I had managed to run up bill of £4500 plus
Mobile Home Brand New , New Boiler etc.
I’m a pensioner and this is utterly exhausting and bully boy tactics - No one listens they just go through the motions like repetitive robots
I’m now dealing with the Energy Ombudsman.”
“A debt collector from eonnext left a final notice an threatened to come with a bailiff and enter in our absence next. The bill was to 'current occupant'. As the occupant is not an eonnext account, this may be related to an outstanding bill of the previous tenant. Why not contact the person who owes money? How does eonnext not take into account the occupier has changed?”

They not count how many energy I spent , they not put into government support , they just put the amount from AIR !!!! And ask me to pay !!! 450£ - a month I have no GAS , 1 room !!!!! I put my meters every time in account!!!! Horrible company if you have a choice don’t use EON never !!Disgusting working!!”
