basically purposely omitted telling me that they charge 1hr labour minimum, came and checked my boiler for about 15 minutes and then boom 150 quid bill...

Was told there is only hourly rate but apparently they charge minimum 150. Additionally they were 2 days late, rescheduling the visit twice. Got only simple diagnostic (30min), no work done. Avoid.

They've charged me 150£ for cutting a drain plastic pipe and let it running in a bowl and for replacing the pipe another 200...😵😵😵

Waited from 10.30 in the morning i was told they would be with me before four hours after waiting until 5.10 no show from them i phoned and was told will be here before 8.00 so cancelled as my kitchen has been flooded all day. avoid !!!!!!

When my electricity went off I contacted ERG to supply me with a local contractor - cost £125 plus VAT. The contractor visited and found the fault within 10 minutes. I signed off that he had been less than 1 hour. Today I find that ERG have taken £300 from my account and are "looking into it". If I do not get a refund the press and my solicitor will be involved. What a shameful company !!!!!

ERG left me a week ago on a Friday with a temp 90 min repair costing £348 but I still had many sockets not working and no power to my CH system the engineer said the office would get back to me with a quote for the rest of the work ASAP. A week later the Additional Works Department contacted me saying a quote was ready for this work. They quoted £1100! The engineer at the time said a section of cable 3 feet long had a fault on it and had to be replaced. The engineer, who at the time I thought was an ok guy said in the quote it would take all day to do it at emergency rate even though this would not be an emergency call-out. This is the shocking truth – I called a local electrical company on Wednesday, he came the next morning and redid all the fault-finding and confirmed it was in fact the 3 foot section of cable. He repaired the cables cut and disconnected by ERG and replaced the faulty section of cable. He was there less than 3 hours and charged £125. This proves ERG are absolute bandits, completely shameless and exploiting.

Avoid at all costs very disappointed charge me 150 call out fee the guy was only there for 25mins. I got quoted nearly 800 pound I've managed to get my boiler fixed 300 I don't no where they are getting prices from and it's so annoying when your on low income and no help I feel I was waste of 150.

Booked for a quick response. Was promised attendance same day, then ERG rang to say they couldn't make it. Rescheduled for day after. Next day they rang late in the day to say they couldn't make it that day either, rescheduled for day 3. When the plumber arrived he could not diagnose the problem apart from saying that the wireless receiver needed replacing, and disconnected the clock on the boiler. Did not seem to know what he was doing - I had to look for a YouTube video to show him how to reset the controller. I sourced and fitted a replacement receiver, fault still not fixed. And I paid £150 for the privilege. Not using this company again

ERG's plumber wanted to charge £747. Another plumber fixed the problem for £30. My central heating wouldn't work. ERG arranged for a plumber to visit one morning. The man finally arrived the following day in the afternoon. He said the hot water cylinder had a faulty valve. Replacing it would involve three hours work to drain the whole system down. Total cost, including his callout fee of £150 for a ten-minute inspection, would be £747. I tried another plumber. He fixed the problem by pressing a button on the boiler to reset the code. Charged me £30 for his visit, which also lasted only 10 minutes. I want ERG to refund the £150 I was charged for the first plumber's visit. No response so far.

Don't use them. Paid £400 for 2 visits but nothing has been done to fix my boiler at all. Read all the reviews first!!!

I contacted the company to book a locksmith the person turned up two days later without any tools walked in and out of the property asked me what is erg charging me. Next erg took £150 out of my account. Beware they are a scam . I wish I had read the reviews Don't waste your money and time

Booked ERG Facilities to fix a dipping tap. On arrival subcontracted plumber simply took photos and said these taps can’t be repaired we only replace. Had ERG Facilities been honest at the time of booking I would not have proceeded and not then been charged £150 for 10 minutes of no work/repair. Do not use this company. They also advertise as Faversham Plumbers and no doubt over names.

Very disappointed with your service £150.00 rip-off, called British gas, came out seen f16 fault straight away replaced PCB , and replaced dial button that your engineer broke, as a priority vulnerable person it was fixed within 10 minutes, so why didn't your engineer do the same ? I will be leaving this as a review dissatisfied customer . Good Morning Thanks for your email below and really sorry you feel unsatisfied with the outcome of your bill query. ERG as a business does not charge a call out fee which is engineer’s travelling time. What we charge is diagnostic or actual labour after engineer has attended. We guarantee our work for a month so if you have any issues we can re attend for free provided it relates to the first issue. Any secondary issues will be chargeable. With regards to the charge for engineer’s first visit really sorry this will stand as engineer has attended and carried out diagnostic labour with the agreed rate of £125.00 + vat= £150.00 applied. My name is..........if you care to read my signature, I was told there was no call-out charge if failed to find a fault, as it was as soon as the engineer left the property the fault had reappeared, also after I noticed that the turn dial had been snapped of its place and put back to appear ok it is now rendered useless in adjustment for the temperature this needs to be rectify as I need to change settings regularly because my mother has advanced dementia and wouldn't realise if it scolded her . I await your response.

Engineer didnt do a full check, and said could not repair boiler because parts were not working, which was incorrect. Still charged full price for nothing. Rip off merchants, only interested in screwing as much money out of people as they can. Trading standards should be aware.

They are greedy and dodgy and they say by law it's confidential so they can take you to court for being dodgy they threaten the vulnerable people to overcharge people in time of need, they come to look for the problem and do nothing and charge you by the hour £100 and above

E.R.G Facilities also advertise as Faversham Plumbers on Yell.com. I booked a visit for a dripping kitchen tap. I described the type of tap (Flexible hose) and the problem which I said was probably a washer needing changing. They quoted £125+VAT per hour. Expensive, but they could come next day. On arrival the plumber simply took photos and filled out a form. When I questioned this he said Hose taps don't have washers and have to be replaced. He spent only 10 mins in my house for which I will no doubt be charged £125+VAT. If I had been informed at the time of booking that I would have to pay this for 10 mins and then wait for a replacement tap to be ordered plus additional £125+VAT per hour to fit I would not have booked them.

Charged £174 for a non-existent service After no-showing on two occasions, finally got a engineer in to my house. He spent a total of 5 minutes in my property, didn't even find the fault at my boiler , and been charged £ 174 . Avoid
