The police took my car as they said it was not insured! Had to pay £150 to get my car from compound! Only to be reimbursed 3weeks later!! Put extra car on insurance and they have taken more money than should!!! Never again

I have been with Esure from past 6 years. I called them recently to add a car as temporary cover for a week, which I have done in the past. Before like expected and a loyal customer they provided me with a cheaper quote then independent website but this time it was almost double. The reason was additional charges which nobody has mentioned before. Spoke to their Team manner and instead to resolve the matter he made it worse by saying either get it or leave it. The next day I called them to see the difference if I permantly change my car in the policy, which came to a ridiculous price difference. I asked the lady why this much, she said it's to do with the power of the new car. I told her my previous car had double power as the new 1 and was much cheaper then she suddenly changed and said I didn't said power. Instead of going ahead with the policy She start saying sorry sir I have to end this call. It's is shocking and ridiculous to see people reading text from a computer screen where they neither can help a customer or answer any query. They don't care from how long is the customer with the firm and neither respect the value of customer service. Good to know this before renewing my policy because I don't think I'll continue with such pathetic people where they don't show any respect to their valuable customers. SHAME

i agreed policy via Quidco at the start of the year & i am STILL waiting for the cashback offer to be paid..................VERY poor, quidco said claim is with Esure but nobody at Esure bothering to respond. i always find with insurance companies when you pay their premium in full upfront, they never provide a good service...

Gave them all my medical details and found out on renewal I had not been covered for any of them.

Tried to make a claim and was given the wrong information to start off with.when I spoke to them again they were very still unhelpful and said it was going to cost me my no claims even though it was not my fault.

Took out a policy, and sent all NCN documents and even reduced it to 1 years NoClaimsBonus yet it was not accepted and I was left with no other option but to cancel the policy, or have it cancelled at any time and then could have been driving uninsured.

Change due date. I tried to change my direct debt date from 28th to 1st of each month. For Esure this seems to be a challenge while collecting two payments in 24 hours. Moreover, I give the company at least three weeks notice. It’s fair to say I won’t be taking out another policy with Esure

I am a new driver so needed cheap insurance, but it came to be a horrible experience when made a claim. Almost a year ago gone and I still am waiting for a deposit of £250. Communication terrible. I had to prompt them to do anything. It took me about 5 months to get money of the claim. Almost 3 weeks for a curtesy car... Just bad.

I cannot pay by direct debit, and they don’t care.

after i was rear ended by another driver, who accepted full responsibility,i contacted esure to inform them of the incident, giving them all the other drivers details, only to be informed that it was not esure's responsibility to make contact with other drivers insurer.saying it was for them to contact me.after many phone calls and hours on the phone,i contacted the other drivers insurer to sort things out.i am extremely disappointed in esure's lack of help with this matter especially when i found that people i know in similar situations as myself were taken care of by there insurer.also after trying to add my partner to my policy i was informed it would cost me an extra £100 for less than one years cover, according to the famous Martin Lewis this should make it cheaper due to the way the risk factor is calculated.not with esure, they are only interested in taking your money.

Needed adjustment to my policy like increasing my excess and for that reason my monthly quote should fall a little but instead was quoted higher for no good explanation. Hence wouldn't recommend esure. The purchase process was fairly easy on go compare but have not liked customer service experience with esure.

I don't give good reviews to any company who charge exorbitant fees to cancel a policy

I had a no fault incident where a med size lorry reversed into me on a very dangerous bendy hill, ! had to badger E-sure for information but actually had far better treatment from the other driver's insurance company - Aviva. They rang me to apologise, check I was OK, put my mind at rest and give written assurance that their client had accepted full responsibility for the collision. E-sure please note I still await advice on where I stand. I am very unlikely to use you again - disgracefully poor service!!!!

1st call on the 9th Jan 18: Phone up to find out about my policy premium increase for our renewal by 32%, when discuss with an advisor he told me that the price have gone up due to government tax, which I correct to inform him this is from 10% to 12% which is 2% increase not 32% then he goes on to say he can’t help on premium unless I get something better online and call back (what a waste of time), but least he was following the company rules, lively person to speak with and clear. 2nd call on the 9th Jan 18: Called again and got through to the renewal cancellation team 10 mins before they close just to be told that he was struggling to find our policy and then at 8pm on the dot hung up the phone to go home, which was very clear. 3rd call, tried again straight after that last call (frustrated) and got through to a out of hours advisor who just said it was 8pm and it is their home time so can understand that he gone home and hung up “nonsense” that’s not the way you treat paying customers. All this advisor was saying is that I can give you the number to call them back tomorrow, which I had anyway, No apology for the other person hanging up or behaviour. I would want to work for a company like that. No wonder the review one Esure are so bad with advisors acting this way, we will be placing our business elsewhere moving forward. Get a 2 star due to have had good service in the passed, what changed in the last year with them, who knows?

Hi well they are good at telling you when your insurance is up for renewal but they seam to keep putting there prices up I have over 25 years none claims but my insurance still goes up I’m not surprised people try and get away with insuring there cars but that should not be added to people who insure there vehicles it’s fair that we should pay over the top on insurance I thought that the more none claims you have the cheaper the insurance but I guess this is not the case I will be looking for another insurer when mine is next due as it is unfair on people who pay there way it seam like if you do things right you get higher bills and something should be done about this
