“Ordered the part that I needed and picked it up with a quick turnaround”

“I placed the order to click and collect with the Isleworth branch. I received an email stating that the order was ready for collection a few minutes after placing the order. I sat in a crazy amount of traffic in Worton Road in getting to the branch. When I walked in, it was full. My perception was that nothing was moving. Eventually the orders were coming through. Very slowly. Staff was very disinterested. No management anywhere to ask why are so many customers waiting. The whole process of waiting to collect the goods at the branch took longer than searching for the items on the internet. Going into the ECP website. Selecting and paying for the items. Getting into the car and then driving to the branch and sitting in traffic in Worton Road. The items I ordered were small. I was on my way to a job. The shocking service at ECP made me late and my customer wasn’t very happy with me. Apathy personified!!”

“I ordered what I though was an H11 replacement fog light bulb for my Mini R56 online. I went to the store to collect and was greated by an overfamiliar shop assistant who was "yeah mate" to everything. That's a bit of an aside, but seriously, what's happened to customer service? A customer is never your mate unless he's actually your mate. Have some professionalism! Anyway, having specifically asked the assistant to double check whether the bulb was indeed compatible with my car, he insisted "yeah mate, that's the right one". Having gone to replace the bulb, it's not the right bulb. A disappointing experience!”

“Told I could pick up 10 tomorrow morning arrived at 10.30 to be told 10 the next day when I got there told not there yet and to come back in an hour ! Very poor service .3 visits and a complete waste of my time. Luckily the customer understood and was OK.”

“Local motor factors are usually cheaper, on this occasion ECP were. I have used their click and collect a few times now and every time they have one person on the counter and I end up having to wait a long time to get the part.”
