Download speed is acceptable however upload speed is very poor and makes skype calls to landlines virtually impossible - can hear them but they can't hear me properly - if I needed significant uploads I would not use this system.

Have been with Europasat (Tooway) since over three years now, and I can only praise their customer service. When you are isolated (remote) like we are it is a delight to have to deal with them, as always we got efficient and best quality support. True that the system works great so little support is needed, but does not influence the quality. Thanks.

It's a good service and I'm very happy with how reliable it is and the speed. The only niggle I have is that any spare bandwidth I might have at the end of the month is not carried over to the next month.

I do think that sending out 4 emails monthly about the Monthly fee for the Internet/Satellite connection is a bit over the top. It gets paid automatically from my Credit card. all I need monthly is a receipted invoice !!

Never (so far) achieves suggested maximum down / up speeds (best has been 16Mbps down). After around 4:00 pm speed drops off dramatically, sometimes / often below 4Mbps download, unacceptable. Customer services just stick with the get out that the maximum speeds are maximums and they don't guarantee them. Customer service also problematic, take a long time to answer questions, sometimes don't even reply to emails. Would personally not recommend unless you can't get landline based broadband or your landline broadband is generally below 3Mbps download speed.

I've been quite frustrated with the service, which seems patchy, especially when watching streaming video. The slow latency rate makes simple surfing seem a bit slow and I'm not usually getting the full download speed I should be getting. For a while the service was interrupting multiple times daily and when I repeatedly contacted the local Intervision office here in Nerja Spain I got no support whatsoever. I don't know if my experience is common but I'm not satisfied and I'm hoping I can get out of the lengthy 2 year contract I foolishly commuted to.

Ordered system on a Saturday and scheduled delivery for the following Tuesday - very good but courier couldn't find the house and didn't ring contact number so day off work wasted. Eventually delivered on Wednesday after more explicit directions given to courier firm. Waited a week for the installer to contact us for an appointment (after several calls to Eurosat) and then he wanted to come the next day as he was in the area. This was a bit short notice but luckily we could arrange entry for him. Installation was very well done and system works perfectly so pleased overall but delivery/installation a bit slower than expected.

As I live in a remote area, satellite broadband is the main option, at least until we get decent 4G cellular. Europasat SES advertised high speed internet links at reasonable cost and so I went for that. So I started with the basic package which gave 4MB download speed. While very occasionally, this has been achieved but in general speeds have been WAY below this. I re-pointed the dish to make sure that was not the issue but no change. I took screen shots of what I was getting and then e mailed Europasat to say that: "I am someone who would upgrade to a bigger package but there seems no point unless I can get better speeds. What can you recommend ?" I got the usual short reply "Our quoted speeds are UP TO ...." Since they didn't even seem interested is taking more of my money, I can only assume that their system is not capable of delivering guaranteed high speed internet. My kids describe our internet as "s***". However, for e mails etc it is always there.

The speeds you are receiving could be due to the amount of people on the network at any given time as this is a shared network and for this reason, we cannot guarantee any kind of headline speeds. This is also why your speeds may be lower during the late afternoon till late at night simply due to the amount of people using the bandwidth. Please also be aware that the services is an up-to service which means the 20MB/s is not a guaranteed speed. I'm not completely satisfied with the quality of the signal and the speed of the connection to the end of the month. Earlier in Belgium I paid 45 euros for perfect internet, TV, and telephone. Now I pay 74.95 euros just for the Internet, and in the last half of the payment termein we can barely work, or skype. I already called two times, but it is said that we use a lot. There I also pay a lot for, once for 45 euros which was all the time the same quality. I think this is unfortinate, because I have always very important committing phones via Skype, and people find it annoying that the connection is lost and interupted. In the beginning of the termein the compound is good, not such as in a solid line, but acceptable. Greetings and thanks.

The speed varies massively and is quite often intermittent. Also the range of tariffs is very poor. Overpriced too.

We have only "fallen off the cliff" of monthly data usage once in nearly three years - but it was not a "throttling back" of access - but no access at all even for basic e-mails. How about a day or two of minimum access before cut-off.

Excellent flexible service, transmission practically continuous with a UK ISP number giving access to BBC Iplayer and many other UK restricted sites to a French resident.

Very poor service, would not recommend my worst enemy to use this source. Reception is only moderate for a few hours a day, and often there is no reception at all ! The company is very keen to tell you that you have used up your allocated amount, but does not appreciate, or allow, that a lot of time is spent re establishing connection in order to finish a task. As soon as I am able I will change my supplier Michael Parry

Your staff are all nice. I was mislead over the necessary packages and had to go from the £9.99 to £24.99 very quickly. I only use for Gmail and Facebook very little surfing. You are therefore VERY expensive. The fitter should have showed me how to reset. I had no Internet at one point until I could call you

Advice can be given during the initial Sales call regarding potential data usage but it is extremely difficult to be absolutely accurate as we can only go by what is discussed. Occasional loss of internet connection don't seem to be picked up in the events section of the website. Otherwise the system is easy to use and reliable.
