Great price for supply and fit. It was explained clearly and very efficient. I paid for it on the phone and the kit was delivered two days later and fitted on the third day. Installation team were great, took care with our property. And we have faster broadband than BT (we live in the countryside) and hopefully it will prove to be reliable, and perhaps the speed will increase in the future which would be fab.

I was put onto Europasat by a friend. I found the website very helpful and clear. Having fond what I wanted, I then phoned. The person I spoke to was very efficient and friendly and I was able to place my order there and then. The satellite dish arrived as promised within three business days and the whole thing was up and running quickly afterwards. Whenever I have had questions subsequently, I have been able to speak to someone without any difficulty and my questions have been dealt with quickly and successfully. I am extremely satisfied and so is a friend to whom I have recommended Europasat for his own internet connection.

Very Very expensive for what are just mediocre speeds - even when working well - and despite being on the 'unlimited' tariff - bandwidth is severely restricted to almost dial up speeds - every evening at 5 PM. Once I am out of contract - I am out of here! - and I am counting the days. Anybody asks me - and even if they don't - my advice - leave well alone - in my opinion - service is simply not worth it even at half the price.

Although, your system is not registering a speedtest since September of this year. If you can run the test and perhaps contact our Technical Team on 01869 356166, option 3 if you have any concerns. I have been having problems lately with my europasat broadband. At 11:00pm I suppose to have unlimited usage but sometimes it is very slow past this time. Before at 11pm it use to be very fast. The only time my broadband seams to get fast is at 1am recently this started to happen. And during the day it can be slow to

very disappointing to find data disappearing at speeds faster than you are supplying [your own figures emailed to me from S E S by Carl at Europasat]. Apparently we down loaded more than 1.3 gigabytes in a 5 minute period during our freezone time. Not only should this not have been counted,[ freezone ] but it would have meant we were downloading at 35 megabits/second when the package we are on only operates at up to 20 megabits/second. I have phoned repeatedly but so far no explanation of your accounting is forthcoming. we now disconnect our modem until we need to use the computer. I will not be recommending you to anyone I care about. nigel@byzantium.force9.net

The supplier/installer responded quickly to my requirements and made a tidy jpob of the installation. I am however disappointed with the performance of the satellite. I work from home using a laptop on commercial programmes and while I find the connection is more robust than domestic BT Broadband, the linespeed is abysmally slow. I had looked forward to both a good connection and a much improved speed. I remain unable to use many of my employers programmes effectively and for this reason cannot recommend others in this rural area to install Europassat ."DISAPPOINTED"

This is also why your speeds may be lower during the late afternoon till late at night simply due to the amount of people using the bandwidth. Please also be aware that the services is an up-to service which means the 20MB/s is not a guaranteed speed. I have been with Europasat (formerly Tooway) for years. They are more helpful than previously. It is great to have a service not tied to one of the national providers. It is with regret that I am leaving as I am using more data than before and paying an extra £10 per Gb every other day is prohibitive. If you live in an area with poor service this is the answer.

We are in a very poor area for receiving signals and too far from the exchange for the copper wire to conduct broadband signals .europasat is the best internet connection we have had ---so far.

I have to say that I am disappointed with the internet service in the evenings. It is not possible to watch TV without it buffering. I have been told to run some tests at this time, as they think my service is OK. They did say the service can deteriorate at peak times, but I am paying a lot of money for unlimited access and I feel I am getting poor value. We live in the middle of nowhere, so options are limited, but I'm not happy.

It's slower than bt. The ping latency is to long can't use my soft phone Snr forget webexs I don't rate it very disappointing

The system is excellent but I have to say that by today's standard, it's very expensive to use, and so if I could find an alternative provider that equals the service, I would change.

Satellite will be more expensive that standard ADSL broadband due to the amount of funding that has been ploughed into the new Technology. Europasat as a company is fine but watch out for the marketing, like many other telecoms companies they sell their products by quoting the maximum 20mbps download speed and not the real world speed which can drop 90% to just 2mbps and become very slow during peak demand periods such as in the evening just when you want to use iplayer or suchlike. The staff are helpful and friendly but prospective customers should be aware that satellite broadband works but it's not a panacea!

A good system when there is nothing else available, but a little expensive especially when you go over your limit, and want to buy extra Gb at £9.99 for one Gb. We had nothing else available here in Spain, so I suppose they can charge what they like.
