It is interesting that on seeing we are on the wrong pricing they can amend this straight away, yet when it comes to addressing our technical issues it is still not rectified after 2 years! In addition, the engineers on site are not getting any information from the company - customer service has been so bad that giving 2 stars is generous as some staff do try to help! I am not holding out much hope for a price reduction and the 2 systems fixed in the near future - especially as they now also own Avonline.... In light of this and the lack of communication we are not in a position to pay the new rates, We are happy to pay the previous rates in light of the technical issues. In relation to the technical issues, we consider that your communication between us and the field based engineers is below par. We had Sat Wave ring us 3 times yesterday to make an appointment to come back out, something we could not understand as both systems have had new cable, TRIAs and modems (the old ones are here to be collected by the way). In addition, they rang to also get a history of the issues and it appears that you had not provided any information – if you want to keep spending money on engineer visit then feel free, but not at my expense when it comes to my time and resource unless you are able to come up with a “repair” solution that will work! We look forward to hearing from you with an constructive update on the technical issues and confirmation to the pricing changes being put on hold.

I live in the Republic of Ireland and as such I would be waiting to speak to someone no the telephone at the mulling around office for around thirty minutes each time. Why then did I give europasat four stars. Well, I was put in touch with the English office and was dealt with by a lady named Katie Holmes. She was a delight to deal with, solving my issues straight away. She discussed my issues and explained in detail what action she would take on my behalf, offering to confirm them by email. I could not have asked for any more !

Europasat have one of the best customer service teams going. Our account manager, Camilo is a delight to work with and can't do enough to help us. We rely on these connections as part of our business the uninterrupted service is pivotal in what we do! Many thanks to the team

Back in the days of Tooway Direct the internet speeds and customer service was very good. However recently now that they are Europasat, they seem to be really struggling to provide a good internet service and deal with customer service or technical queries in a timely manner. It's a real shame but at least it forced me to look at alternatives. I'm now using a 4G router with an external antenna and although I only get 2 bars of 4G signal I get consistently better speeds than with Europasat and the latency is much less (around 50ms rather than nearly 800ms with satellite) which makes a huge difference to everything from web browsing, watching YouTube and using VOIP. I get 100GB per month with my 4G package compared to 40GB per month with Europasat and it costs me less than £20 a month compared to £50 with Europasat. I'd strongly suggest looking into 4G options rather than using satellite broadband if you can't get ADSL.

The service was very efficient, it was easy to set up an account and when there was a problem with the connection the technical team were able to sort it out very quickly.

The customer services manager Phillip Legge was extremely helpful. He did explained features about our Satellites internet which I was unaware of. He also helped to get me back on the net prior to our contract reviewing at midnight. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with.

Staff never respond to queries in a timely manner. Ages holding on the phone often not to get issues resolved. Very good at being in contact when selling you a system, but after sales is zero.

I have read negative reviews about call waiting times... but what company doesn't have? The bank, phone provider, HMRC etc... What is important, however, is what service I get when I do speak to someone and I have to say that the customer service manager was professional, friendly and actually wanted to help, genuinely! Thank you Philip!

Although I waited some time to get connected, both support and sales staff were more than helpful. got my system up and running and helped with upgrade to increased data package.

Phil immediately helped me with our broadband issue and resolved the problem within minutes. He was friendly, helpful and professional. We aren't sure how our broadband usage was used so Phil advised on ways to find this out going forward.

Only reason they get one star is because I had to click a star to leave a review. DO NOT sign up with Europasat. Signed up with them in June 2017 took the engineer a whole day to install the equipment with him moaning about how it should only take an hour. Since day one we have had massive issues with data, I use it for checking email and facebook NOTHING ELSE! but apparently according to Europasat I am using over 500MB data in two hours!! This company is a complete joke. Cannot get to speak with anyone from customer service and IT support just send a list of numbers for the data usage which tells me nothing. Do yourself a favour and go else where.
