Waited a month and half for bike ordered online. No news. The two replies I have had from them they say the order is lost in their system but they can’t say when it will be found. When they’ll dispach or if they’ll refund. Notice there is no IT problem for taking the money. Avoid at all cost as if the order goes wrong which seems likely at the moment you will not have any communication from them.

Rubbish online store experience. Have had to load items to my basket multiple times. Adding new products removes existing items from the basket. When you finally load everything you want 'check out as guest' forces you to register for an account. When do you do register and go back to the shopping basket it has lost all of the items previously loaded after multiple attempts. Worst ever online shopping experience

Avoid at all cost. Go to a local shop, you'll get better service. 3 main frustrations: 1- ordered a crash helmet in store (no stock, but that I can understand given the situation). Can't try any helmet in store, so you have to buy them, and return if they don't fit. So bought one (far to big, returned today), and ordered one. The ordered helmet hasn't left the warehouse, so trying to cancel the order: no email reply, no phone line working, and you can't get it cancelled and refunded in store. You have to wait until it arrives (sometimes, maybe August, despite the website saying 3-7 days), and return it in store. 2- I have just been to the store in Hendon 2 1/2 hr queuing time. Plus they let a woman jump the queue. 3- phone lines were supposed to be opened last Monday. No clear communication. Nowhere does it say you can't cancel an order. No-one is taking any responsibility. And that's only a £50 worth of order. I can't imagine if I had tried to buy the actual bike from them.

Placed an order on the 24th May for 2 bikes. They advised the delivery would take 7-14 days due to Covid-19. we accepted that. However it's not the case. Received the first bike last week and came damaged. No response to any of the emails or any communication attempted. Phone lines closed. When calling the shops they cannot help as we bought online! No news on the second bike nor on how to replace the damaged side handle. Worst customer service ever! Avoid at all cost. They are now saying as the shops are open deliveries would go back to 3 days! Do not believe it! Avoid! avoid!

I placed click and collect order on 10th May. After waiting for 2 weeks when I had no communication on status of my order I tried to call the local store as all the customer sevice lines has been closed till date. I was told they will not be able to fulfill my oder as bike is now out of stock though it was in stock when I placed the order. They did have same bike with different colour in stock but they won't honour my order as I bought the bike at 50% discount. Only option povided was a refund. It has been now 4 weeks and I am still waiting on the refund. I have called up the local store numbe of times and everytime I call I am told they have emailed to headoffice and they can't do anymore. I can't speak to anyone at headoffice as all phone lines are closed. I have emailed twice through website the only option available and I have had no response whatsoever in last 4 weeks. Terrible customer service. Will never buy from them and real shame on how they are managing their customers. Unethical and shameful. Avoid if you can.

Why can't I put ZERO star? It's the oddest purchase experience. (understood the unusual lockdown situation might give certain factors of it. That's salvage for 1 star) My bad experiences include : - Incomplete delivery address thus delayed delivery. - Missing assembly tools. - Sending wrong e-bike charge of another brand. - Chasing for 3 weeks but not a single reply/feedback through multiple means. Getting less hope to find a solution to get my e-bile going.

I have very BAD and TERRIBLE purchase experience in Evans Cycles, no order record to track, no one want to help out with this matter. Is that because I live in Taiwan so far away from UK so they took my money. I have below order all gone in their system. 5/27 PO. W689696985 $225.82 6/11 PO. W703735968 £125.68 I pay via credit card on the same date placing these orders, also have confirmation mail send from Evans Cycles but seems there is no detail in their system. Now I cannot have my purchase materials, cannot have my money back. Is that the way Evans Cycles makes their money?!

Ordered bike on the 8th May payment taken, and other than confirmation email and email saying my bike was in stock heard nothing absolute joke. Turn on your phone lines. Customer service 0 Will never use this company again. None of the question below are relevant as I have no bike but have paid for one.

The worst company i ever dealt with. Order my 500 pounds bike more than a month ago and still i have not received it. I try to call the and e mail them and they do not respond to anything. I even went to one of their branches and they basically told me we keep your money and we don’t care just wait. Shame on everyone evolved with this company.

I ordered and paid for a custom bike (buy all the parts from Evans and they build the bike for you) in Feb from Evans Wimbledon store. After four months Evans advised they didn’t know where any of the parts for my bike were, couldn’t get some of the parts and they would be cancelling the order. I spent nearly four months speaking to the shop manager (he’s now left) and Evans customer service team trying to get updates on my bike order. The majority of the staff I spoke to were unhelpful, unprofessional and incompetent. Evans were kind enough to give me a £150 gift voucher for all my troubles which I do think was a nice gesture, but advised me it could take up to a month to refund me the money I’d paid for the bike. Evans are fine for buying anything standard, if you want anything custom a strongly recommend getting a delivery date in writing before ordering. Buying a new bike should be an exciting experience, this purchase was extremely stressful and a horrible experience. I will do my very best to avoid using Evans in the future and I am trying to get my company to change the Ride to work scheme provider from Evans.

Shocking - Putting Wealth and Sales Before Safety Shocking ! Ordered a bike on 24th April. It arrived on 14th May. When I opened the un damaged box and began to take off the inner packaging I discovered the rubber on the handle bars was badly damaged and was crumbling away. Reported it on line to Evans customer service as all phone lines due to Covid-19 we’re closed and as at 13th June still no response. I understand this could be Covid-19 related. However, still rode the bike as it was just the rubber grip damaged - wore gloves. But after 3 weeks of not all that much use, the whole entire crank and pedal fell off at a very busy roundabout. The pedal went flying into the road into the middle of the roundabout and numerous cars drove over it before I could safely retrieve it. I was ok, but that could have been so much worse !! It’s frightened me. Luckily I could coast onto a pavement/gap off the roundabout and wasn’t wearing Cycle road shoes !! Very angry, I took the bike down to the shop closest to me (27 miles away). Expressed my displeasure and was told by the mechanic there that the crank hadn’t been torqued. Despite having an Evans Cycles check list in my delivery pack which was clearly ticked and signed that the torque had been checked and set correctly 4 weeks prior. Evans, Sutton Coldfield took pictures and reported to their HO. But heard nothing from them as at 13th June. Sutton Coldfield repaired the bike and just put the old pedal back on. Yes, the damaged scratched run over pedal crank back on my bike. Didn’t even repair the rubber on the handles bars until I asked them to return the bike and repair those too ! So now I have mis- matching rubber handle grips and a scratched damaged pedal crank on a 4 week old bike! I’ve written to Evans, the manufacturer - Specialized and heard nothing from either. I don’t know if this is a Specialized issue or an Evans Cycles issue. But entire crank pedals should not be falling off a bike of 3 weeks old. Certainly not one that cost £700. Nor would one expect it to be delivered damaged. It can’t have been the delivery company as the boxes on the outside we’re fine. The rubber was rotten and fell into a kind of dust inside the bag in the box. So obviously packed or stored like that somewhere. I wouldn’t recommend Evans Cycles to anyone at the moment, I also wouldn’t recommend a Specialized bike either based on my experience. The proverbial happens , I get that. But not to a 3 week old £700 bike displaying no evidence of being loose anywhere! And zero response from Evans is disgusting. Is this company taking advantage of the current Covid situation and churning out bike sales to meet high demand, but lapsing safety measures? Be careful ! I’m a 40 year old woman. This could have been a child’s bike that this happened to . Be careful

Ordered on 14th May. It's now the 13th of June and still haven't received it despite a 14 day delivery time being stated on order. Can't get through to them on the phone and they haven't responded to my email sent over 2 weeks ago

I placed my order on 26th May, still haven't received it. After being listed as "Stock Allocated" for 2 weeks, it changed on Monday to "Picked" and I received an email saying that it would be delivered in 2-4 days. I checked the status of the product yesterday and it said "Waiting", today it says "Stock Allocated" again, and of course the product has yet to be delivered. Add that to the fact that it's impossible to get any contact with them, it all amounts to an awful customer experience. Avoid at all cost.

ZERO STARS Wish I had never dealt with Evans Ordered a bike 2 weeks ago with a 3-7 days deliver 2 weeks later nothing. It is impossible to contact them after spending a lot of money. The phone lines are down due to covid so they say use email or web chat I have sent 2 emails no response, web chat I have monitored for days it goes from not available to busy at 9am then back to not available at 5pm. I even tried facebook messenger and nothing. This company are using covid as an excuse for shocking customer service. Even the staff at the shops said it was a disaster but they couldn't do anything as it was an online order. Absolutely shocking and I will be sharing my experience with as many people as possible.

I ordered a bike from them in May and it's not been dispatched within the timeframe stated on their website (3-7 days), it's now been three whole working weeks and I've been unable to get in touch with them to find out what is going on. An email to their customer services states that responses will be received within 14 working days and their other channels seem to be unavailable. I appreciate that this is a very busy time for them and can sympathise with delays but the lack of updates and ability to contact them is very frustrating. They also need to set realistic expectations about delivery of orders on their site - unless I've been very unlucky the stated derlivery time is very misleading.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! Ordered my bike on the 22nd of may (trek roscoe 7) stated in stock, checked website for any delivery delays as i expected in the pandemic, on their website they state bikes are delivered within 14 days and click and collect would be faster, i chose this option and 16 days in and my bike hasnt even gotten one stage further in the process, also contacting them is impossible, they are also continuing to lie on social media and on their website now stating bikes are dispatched in 3-7 days, this is a complete lie, avoid at all costs, i have had family and friends all ordering bikes during the pandemic which all had pleasant experiences with other companies, if their order was late it was by a couple of days and they were kept informed, evans does not do this.
