I have many dresses and fun tops which I purchased a few years back. I recently bought a dress that didn't fit me well and filled out the request for a return label that should have automatically generated the label. The label never came. After a few days and checking spam folders I tried to request another and could not. I emailed them. I was reassured they would look into it and told how they hoped that resolved it for me. It did not. I gave them four more days. Sent another email. Apparently my request for a return label has been advanced to an investigatory committee. Unbelievable. I tried chatting with someone. No resolution other than a pat phrase of we're working on it. How hard can it be to email me the return label? I'll never shop here again. Hope I don't take a financial hit on the dress.

Used to love Fat Face my go to store. Unfortunately since Next have taken over seems they have lost their style and quality. So sad they once had brilliant designs and styles

Purchased the white Nora lace up trainers recently. They are so very comfortable, it feels like you're walking on cushions! I find it hard to get footwear that is comfortable for my feet, but these are amazing 👏

I am a regular customer and usually love Fat Face clothes for my children. I normally buy online so I’ve never had an issue. However buying a top for my son a few days ago I noticed a small hole while ironing it. I had a photo and copy of a receipt but Fat Face refused to do anything because it wasn’t bought online. I repeated I wasn’t local and my petrol wouldn’t cover the exchange. I suggested a gift voucher to cover this which they refused.

It used to be a great company on so many levels, great designs, clothes that washed so many times before started to look tatty, and flattering, natural materials used. Sadly been going downhill for the last couple and finally, with NEXT taking over, it's worse and I see in the news that their sales have also dipped since. Clothes now made with eco fabric that shrinks several inches or cheap plastic knits. They also have really strange choice of patterns of materials used too for tops and dresses, dresses that have become incredibly frumpy and so much shirring used leaving little choice for consumers. All their winter scarves are unwearable, due to the fluff that sheds into your eyes and nose and their coats have pockets that are ripping easily and not as much warm lining as it once had, always cutting corners but putting up prices.. Nearly every top, jacket or jumper for women too is incredibly short and on the rare occasion they list something longline it is sold out quickly.. Dare mention that most women prefer longer length on social media and get your comments deleted! The ability to leave and even read the reviews on their website too has pretty much been taken away for most. I would've thought feedback welcome, esp as they still have tops in their sales section that were their season offerings from 1 -3 years ago. I've never seen a retailer still selling stuff that is so old and people are simply not buying their clothes anymore. Perhaps if they figure out what their customers want a bit better then they'd not have been in financial trouble. Sack the buyers and the designers, go back to what they were good at and use decent material, stuff that isn't chucked into landfill after one wash - there is nothing 'green' in that, ever.

I ordered a scarf online they said it was going to be delivered on a certain day and it wasn't. I phoned and they said it will be delivered tomorrow and it wasn't. Then I had an email saying that will be back in stock in five days time. I phoned customer service and asked for a refund she said she will process it as we speak and she sent me an email. As I paid with PayPal I didn't receive and notifications saying that the refund has been processed so I rang them again the following day and they said it definitely has been refunded, again no notification from PayPal. I rang the following day and they said sorry we haven't process your refund yet we will do it now. Well, I won't be holding my breath as I still have not had a notification PayPal about to refund. Tomorrow I will take it up with PayPal and make it complaint. I certainly do not recommend shopping from this Mickey mouse company they are absolutely dreadful.

I made a purchase for £90.20 in the Cardiff Fatface store this morning and they said that they would email me my receipt. This receipt has never arrived in my inbox (or junk folder), so I have no proof for purchase for the items. I emailed customer services this afternoon to ask how long it would take for the emailed receipt to arrive to be told that they only provide customer service for online orders only. It was suggested that I go back to the store and raise the issue with them. I asked customer services if they could phone the store and ask them to resend my receipt. Apparently they can't resend copies of receipts, so I still have no receipt and my details have been sent to someone else - a GDPR issue now. I asked if the customer services team would pay for my travel and parking back into Cardiff but they said no! I asked for a head office contact to take this complaint further but the lady on the phone wouldn't give me any details and just said that customer services was for online orders only - look out any instore customers with issues!

I’ve bought trousers from Fatface Southwold store , these are very badly made , stitching is terrible when you see underneath . The dye also is terrible, faded in certain areas . Also dresses bought from their store .,badly made - mostly made in India

They keep advertising items on sale that once you have purchased they then inform you that it is no longer available. Aside from this being a waste of everyones time they then take 5 days to refund you the money. This has happened 3 times in the last few months and it is everytime I have ordered something. I complained to Customer service who just told me the item is not available which I did guess! It really is a waste of time ordering items from this company.

Fat Face should make their returns policy clear. I returned an item to the store straight away as it didn't suit me at all..I now know that a refund can take 2 weeks, plus up to another 5 days to clear. This is not good enough. Most stores refund much quicker. I would not buy again from Fat Face.

Items not delivered ! A 105 pound coat saying delivered by royal mail at 8.30am on a saturday....iv not even gotten up x no knocks on the door x item photographed as just a label with deliverers hand in photo ! Item not delivered to me ! This company does not deliver ! They steal your things and say delivered ! ...NOT RECCOMENDED....NEVER ORDER HERE....NEVER RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE....BEWARE !!!!

Shipping takes way too long. I order from other companies in the UK and Europe and shipping to the US does not take so long. Might be able to justify if shipping was free, but it is not. Will not be ordering from this company again. More than 2 weeks and I still have not received it. In the US but going from one place to another. Too frustrating to deal with when there are so many other choices

I purchased a cardigan today in your keswick branch and was served by a very pleasant assistant called Caroline and then Ria . Both ladies were extremely helpful ,kind and patient as I am disabled and find it difficult to move around. But they helped me and had a cheery smile which was most appreciated. 3 cheers for them many thanks. Yours sincerely daveenia dorling.

You keep marketing products that are NOT for sale. Not just once, but many times. When enquiring to availablity, you dont know, and continue to add more items, with the lets say 'skirt' being worn, but not available for order. 6 weeks of marketing and not available. This is frustrating and poor business delivery.

Loved the store , purchased a lot . The cotton quality is amazing . The staff was very friendly. It’s a unique store! Will definitely buy again. I travel all over the world and like to see different items n clothing from around the world .

Tried to return a dress bought in a recent sale on 26.7 and well within 30 days most shops returns policies. On presenting my receipt I was told because it was a sales item it couldn’t be refunded. I had checked my receipt beforehand and there was no information about returns on it at all. The assistant pointed to a notice on the counter stating their sales returns policy is within 15 days! She seemed very well versed in this scenario especially as it appeared that 90% of the stock floor was sale items. When I bought the dress this had not been brought to my attention at all. I wonder how many more customers have been caught out on this trick? This is very deceitful and will be contacting Trading Standards for their views. Last time I ever buy from FF again.

The Manager at your Cabot Circus branch needs training quickly on the art of how to interview young people that apply for jobs and when they are unsuccessful (Which is a fact of life and everyone moves on) the fact that she doesn't even have the common courtesy of not only adhering to her promise of calling someone back but then doesn't call at all. How do you have Managers like this leading a team, it is beyond me. I will be taking this much further.

I enjoy shopping in FatFace stores and like the clothing, but I will never place an online order with them again. I ordered some items on June 19 and my credit card was promptly charged, then the shipment information was not updated. I finally reached out to customer service and they provided a USPS tracking number as 'proof' that they had passed the shipment to USPS. USPS has confirmed that the tracking number was created but that the package was not received - now it is a week later and there is no sign that they actually physically shipped these items. I am hopeful that this was an error in the warehouse and I will be refunded for the disappearing package, if not then I will not be shopping at Fatface again.
