“Worst experience ever. I found this company through Kayak and rented a car prepaid with full cover insurance. My flight was delay, I missed my connection flight and had to sleep at the connection airport, the whole time I was calling them to let them know about the situation which they told me it was no problem that whenever I find out my new arrival time to let them know... i did. When i arrived to the airport i went to the kiosk and they said they have a car ready for me, they took me on a shuttle to the rental place then the told me my reservation was cancelled for no-show and they couldn't do anything about it because i didn't reserved with them, it was prepaid and they only hold prepaid reservations for up to 2 hrs of reservation time. I had to call CS to get it validated then they told me they didnt have the type of car i reserved and gave me downgraded car because thats all they had when i saw plenty of cars but they said they where assigned for other reservations for later. I got treated as they were doing me a favor. When i got the car it feel like it was blowing hot air and i told them, then the air started working, i had waisted so much time arguing that i just wanted to get to my destination since i had and event that day at 4pm so i took the car and 15-20 min into my drive the air quit. i drove 2 hrs w/o ac in a 90 weather. Called them and they told me they will have a car at 5 pm, I explained my event was at 4 and i could not make it so they told me to go to the place at 8am the next morning that they will hold a car for me to pick up. I get there at 8 and they said they don't have anything for me and on their notes they have i was supposed to pick a replacement the day before between 1-5 and i didnt show up (lies, i was never told 1-5) so they will have something similar until 5 pm. I got call at 2 pm to pick up the replacement car. The car was so beat up, scratches all over the body, dents and damage. 2 microcracks on the windshield and no fuel cap. i took video and pics and used it w/o incidents. On the returned day i stopped to get gas then got to the facility, the guy asked if it was a different car i said yes. he said its all good, go to the side to wait on the shuttle. when i got to the airport i got and email with pics and marks saying i caused damage to the car. I tried to call CS but no answer. I had to open a ticket claim, they replied saying no damage charges were made (imagine if i didn't have pics to prove i didnt cause the damage. they would have charge me for a new car... BIG SCAM!!) but the charged me for gas they claimed i didn't returned the car with the gas i got it which is a lie! unfortunately i didn't take a pic of the gas when i parked the car. On top of the extra gas and time i wasted trying to exchange the fisrt car. i COULD NEVER GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE OVER THE PHONE IN CS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WHOLE SISTUATION. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY (HERTZ-DOLLAR-FIREFLY LOS CABOS)”

At the airport they claimed that the insurance that I bought via Booking, is not acceptable for them, then I had to buy a new one (tvery expensive!!!!!), then they charged me more for the insurance that they told me when I bought it, and now I had to pay two times for some undefined fees for the fine that I already paid. This was the worst customer's experience I've ever had. The worst.”
“I rented a car through Carjet and prepaid the hire and platinum insurance. I collected the car from Firefly in Valencia airport. I explained I already had the extra insurance. The car was ok, but upon arriving home, I have been charged approx £150 for their own insurance. I cannot get hold of them as there is no email address and the number I call For Firefly Valencia airport, rings and then the staff at the office hang up before answering. I thought the bad old days were gone but it seems I have got it wrong.”

UWAGA NACIĄGACZE !!! Pracownik firmy na lotnisku w Maladze bez informowania mnie o tym dopisał do umowy ubezpieczenie Super Cover .Rezerwacja była przeprowadzona przez Booking gdzie wszystko było opłacone łącznie z extra ubezpieczeniem, umowa była tylko na dodatkową opłatę za fotelik dziecięcy i kaucje.
Po kontakcie mailowym firmą Firefly nie poczuwa się do odpowiedzialności za nieuczciwego pracownika podpierając się tym że umowa zastała podpisana .
Nie polecam tej Firmy a jeżeli dacie się skusić korzystną ceną wyjściową zalecam zdwojoną ostrożność

I booked car from Malaga airport. I already bought full cover insurance and the lady in the counter confirmed this.
When I got my deposit they charge 200 EUR for incurance..... I complaind but didnt get this back. This people are profesional fraud, stay away!!!!”
“This is the worst disingenuous car hire company and I’ve tried a a lot. They said my credit card pin wasn’t valid at 11.30pm and that they were going to close leaving me without a car so I had to pay 280pound extra.
They then took €450 from bank. This was on top of £350 car hire cost.
So paid over £700 for one week.
There was no issue the next day with my PIN number at different company.
So they conned me to get full insurance.

I travelled to Malaga and on collecting the car told the sales assistant at the desk I didn’t require the extra insurance cover and they could block €1043 from my credit card and that would be only used to cover the excess if we had a accident I agreed and signed the forms that clearly showed 0.00 and couldn’t believe it when I checked on my return home to UK they had charged me £300.00 on top of the original £230.00 I paid to doyouspain.com I instantly contacted Firefly to ask what was going on ? and couldn’t believe their response saying I had signed for it and nothing they were prepared to do.Please avoid this company as it’s plain to see they are ripping off people and all staff are well aware of their illegal business practices!! “We have been fraudulently charged 418 euros to out credit card the day after we arrived back from Málaga following a car hire with Firefly from Málaga Airport. Still unsure what it was allegedly for as cannot get through to them and they have not explained this to us. This seems to be common practice judging from the reviews here. Would avoid at all costs and will never use them again.”
