Our Ford Maverick hybrid truck broke down at 11,000 miles and we have been waiting for a repair for almost 9 weeks. Romeo Ford does not provide loaner cars. Corporate office tells us to talk to local dealer and local dealer tells us to talk to corporate office.

Horrible experience with ford edge 2017 model . Engine liner failure within 3 year of purchasing and there was no engine warranty even after replacement. Spare part replacement was extremely delayed and high cost . It’s better to buy Chinese or Indian cars which are more user friendly and more reliable.

We just had to replace the engine block in our 2018 Ford Escape. It had 84,000 miles but that is not enough to warrant a new engine. We paid $7000 of the total $11,000; Ford paid $4000 but refused to do anything else. There was a design flaw that allowed coolant to leak in the EB engine, and Ford knew about this problem. They offered a replacement but that expired in 2022. After 50 years of owning Fords of various models, we will NEVER buy another Ford. They no longer produce quality vehicles and they do not stand behind their product. An online search showed many owners of 2018 Fords had the same problem, and there have been class action suits related to the issue. A much smaller complaint: the paint around the windshield is flaking off, also experienced by other owners of models with blue paint.

It’s easier to say what went right since I bought my 2020 Ford Escape than what went wrong!!! The service manager has been excellent and the car was wonderful for 1.5 years until…….electrical problems, recalls and more recalls, car not starting over and over again, long, long, wait for parts to arrive, lights on dashboard, in for service longer than in my garage! I’ve had it!!!!

Bought 2024 F-150 XLT with many problems and Ford says it is not warrantable. Fog headlights no warrantable. I had many trucks and never got problems as this one. I just trade in my GmC Sierra, which never gave any problem, for this one that in a month made lost 2 of work. I call manufacturer already, called the dealer twice, called ford bank and nobody helped me. I don’t want to have this truck anymore.

My Ford Ecosport broke down because of a recall part on 3/4/24. The recall fix was (and is) not available. It is now a year later and I still do not have my car. They finally replaced the engine in December, I got it back in the middle of January. Drove it 2 days and it broke down. It was diagnosed at the local dealership and is going to cost $450 to fix. Ford offered to pay $140 of it. Remember this is a brand new engine but I do not have a warranty on it, because my original engine warranty was expired. Let me add, that this new engine still has the 'bad' recall part. I will say that they have provided me a rental car but of course I have to pay upfront and am usually about 3 weeks in the hole! And I am not made of money! I have spent HOURS on the phone with Ford and get a different story each time. Plus after my car sat for 10 months and didn't get driven, the battery is acting up. If I ever get it back, that will be the next fight. I do not think I will ever own another Ford!!! Of course I haven't had my Ford in ONE YEAR!!! I will also say the service people at the 2 dealerships I have worked with have been wonderful!

Ford Mustang Mach E doesn't charge above 287 miles, which is to charge to 321 miles! That being said, the actual miles achieved are less than 287 on the road. This vehicle has been in service twice for these issues and still no change in charging or mileage!

We have a 2015 explorer with 78,000 miles and the water pump went out. I read a class action law suit against him for the faulty water pump that was going out on all explorers because it was cheaply made and should not be going out with that many miles. They also have it where you have to take part of the motor out to get to it. It also comes with cost of a whopping 3400.00 !! Ridiculous! My husband is a ford man but my next one won’t be!!

DO NOT BUY FORD EXPLORER EV EXTENDED RANGE WITH 77kw battery. It will not return more than 160 miles on a motorway trip… Ford claims 375 miles range… Be careful 👍

This platform proved to be a nightmare, even though I had assumed I had made a wise investment. My account was frozen, preventing me from accessing my personal funds. The anxiety and uncertainty were too much to handle. However, after I discovered *reaintell.com, their staff put in a lot of effort to get my account back. I appreciate their knowledge and am relieved to have my $60,000 returned

My 2021 F-150 Lariat ($81K, with all service/warranty packages) is already on its 2nd battery in just 3 years. Now Ford refuses to cover the battery they replaced in 2023! Their warranties are a SCAM. Buyers beware! #Ford #F150 #WarrantyScam #TruckProblems"

Ford has had an outstanding safety recall notice (24S02). A-Pillar dislodges from the Explore SUV 2011-2019. They have known about this issue for over 13 months. They have done nothing to service this issue at all. I recommend that people stay away from purchasing this or any Ford vehicle as clearly the company has not no desire to resolve safety issues after they sell you a car.

My engine needs to be replaced after a well known recall issue that Ford had known about for 8+ months and have been waiting on parts for it to be made. It’s ridiculous and concerning that it’s taken close to a year for a product to be made that is a serious safety concern. Now that my engine is finally blown, I need to cover the remaining cost of a rental car- Ford covers $42/day while it gets fixed. Although I’m thankful I don’t need to cover the cost of the engine, I don’t believe I should be putting ANY money towards something that is a result manufactured error. Good thing I had CAA as I was out of town when all this happened.

It just keeps getting worse with this company. I had to bring my Truck to 3 different dealerships for the same issue. In that time they had my truck for over 2 months in days. The last time they had to put a motor in it and the dealership said they had no rentals. I ask if ford pays for a rental since its still under the 5 year 60k power warranty. For the first 2 1/2 weeks they wouldn't approve it because they need to know 100% it was with the motor even though they have tried fixing it 7 times before that. They finally approved the rental and I had to pay for it and they would reimburse me after. I need the rental for 10 days. Told me to go to enterprise for the rental. This was in September 2024. It sucked that I only got it for 10 days but it is what it's. End of story right...... nope called the dealership and ford headquarters couple of times because we were in December and haven't heard anything. Told I would get a call back 2 times in the last month. We'll today Jan 13 2025 I called back and it's sounding like I'm out the $800 plus because the rental car enterprise gave me wasn't a Ford. Never was told anything about what kind of car I needed to rent from ford. I've gotten rental cars over the years from ford dealerships that weren't ford's. This company is horrible and as someone that has owned 6 ford's personally and 5 through my business. I will never buy a ford vehicle again and I won't let any friend or family members buy one. This is completely nuts. Wish I could give it zero stars. 1 is too many

I would give zero stars if it were an option. My $50,000 2022 vehicle has had multiple issues from brakes, electrical, drive train, and interior cosmetic issues. They have no interest in figuring out how to solve my issues. I've had to take it to my small town garage to find out what's wrong. The leather on my seats is cracking. I've owned the vehicle for 2.5 yrs! It is passed the 60,000kms (because I drive into the city for work) and because of that none of the issues are covered, even the seats. To note, my partner has KIA that is past its 60,000kms and has a cracked leather seat and they didn't even hesitate to offer a replacement. Ford could care less about providing a quality product and does not stand behind their product. No customer service as well. With the drive train/braking issue, I took it to the dealership. They drove it around and could not get the intermittent issue to present itself. They did not remove the tires to look at the braking system (I know this because when I took it to my small town garage they did, and said that it was obvious if the tires were removed.) The dealership tried to charge me over $150 for a diagnostic fee for just driving it around and not actually doing anything! I can go on, but the point is that I thought it was just the dealership providing questionable service, but when I called Ford Canada they had the same kind of response that left me feeling like now that they have my money they really don't care whether I'm a satisfied customer or not. To note, I don't usually leave reviews for anything because I find hashing it out again online to be too much focus on the negative in life, but I have to leave this because I do not want anyone else to waste their money on this company. I'm a single mother with a single income (no child support), putting one kid through university and 2 in highschool. I can't afford to have unexpected repairs, which is why I buy new so I have a reliable vehicle. The way I've been spoken to and treated by the men of the dealership has been degrading (of course only after they had my money). If you are on a restricted budget, a woman or just don't want to be screwed by a company who has no consideration or customer loyalty then DO NOT BY A FORD!!!!!
