I saw the arch at my local garden centre and after searching on the internet for best price placed my order with a third party supplier. At this point all good. I didn't get the 'said' call on the day it was to arrive and I was out but luckily I had workmen in the garden who helped unload it with the single driver so it arrived altogether and strapped up. When I unstrapped it I noticed that the four upright pieces, the ones that hold everything together, had such bad cracks and splits in the wood that they wouldn't have lasted 15 minutes let alone the stated 15 years. One of the side trellis sections had a missing piece altogether and the rest of it had staples that were holding air and not the under trellis cross pieces as needed. In fact the whole thing was so poorly prepared and put together that it could not be used at all. So I called my supplier and they organised a second replacement arch with Forest. Second replacement did arrive a couple of weeks later. The delivery driver took at look at the first set and it was at this point that he himself called the office as he had noticed some issues with the second shipment. Following that discussion it was decided to unload the full arch and try and make a whole out of the available pieces. Unfortunately, the second set of uprights were also very badly split and even whilst unloading the driver commented that I wouldn't be able to use them as the damage was so bad. So, I now had two sets of the same arch in my garden - both useless. To cut a very long story short over the course of three months I have had delivered 2 complete but damaged arch sets, that couldn't form a decent whole one. A replacement side trellis panel, and today replacement slotted upright posts with half of the end sawn off and the required corner braces and rafters but NONE of them are any good. The Customer service team tried their best but they can't see what is being delivered so are completely in the dark. The delivery drivers can't collect the damaged ones as this has to be done separately even though they return to the depot empty. The After Sales Manager when I eventually spoke to one patronisingly suggested that I should expect this type of splitting as after all it is a wood product and what with the hot weather we have had recently.....! I accept it is wood, and would have expected some minor splits but not in places that would ultimately affect the structure, aesthetics and integrity of the arch itself, and certainly after discussing the issues and the patience that I have shown I would have expected a NEW arch and not something that looks like its been languishing at the bottom of the wood-yard pile. I now have as much wood in my back garden as I suspect Forest has and none of it any good. According to the After Sales Manager today 'as the arch does not meet my expectations the only thing is to collect all of it'. So after three months of inconvenience, time off to accept deliveries, countless telephone calls chasing said deliveries I am to get nothing more than a refund. What a joke this company is - their products are not cheap but if you want to pay high prices for cheap quality then go right ahead. As for me I will now go elsewhere with a promise to self to never buy from them again.

ShedsWarehouse Ltd Unit 7, Edison Rd, Bedford MK41 0HU Shed Builder Place details Nico Jane ★ 3 hours ago I ordered a summer house several weeks ago to use and enjoy this summer. I was assured by the store (Sheds Warehouse) and the supplier (Forest garden co) that delivery to a narrow Cornish lane wouldn't be a problem, as Forest garden co used small vans when requested. I duly sent 3 sets of instructions to emphasise that they use as small a van as possible and warning of the narrowness of the lane. I even had my instructions acknowledged as 'noted'. However, please can I warn everyone NOT TO USE FOREST GARDEN co as they are TOTALLY INCOMPETENT and UNFIT FOR PURPOSE - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING SUPPLIED BY THEM. Despite repeated requests for a small delivery van AND THEIR ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS THAT THIS HAD BEEN NOTED AND WOULD BE 'NO PROBLEM', FOREST GARDEN HAVE TWICE FAILED TO DELIVER THE SUMMER HOUSE ORDERED MANY WEEKS AGO. They failed to read or act on the instructions for delivery, and misled me completely regarding this being 'no problem'. Furthermore, after I waited in on each occasion for the planned delivery, they only deigned to inform me an hour before the delivery time that, although only a few miles away, they would not be delivering the summer house. FURTHERMORE - and this is beyond comprehension - despite many conversations and emails about the problems with THE FIRST FAILED DELIVERY and REASSURANCES THAT THE RE-ARRANGED DELIVERY FOR TODAY WOULD BE ON A SMALL VAN, I HAVE ONLY JUST BEEN TOLD THAT THIS WAS ALWAYS IMPOSSIBLE! The person in charge, Ash Dye, has just now informed me that delivery to this area is impossible - yet there was no mention of this when I originally arranged delivery with them! I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DUPED AND MISLED FROM THE START. I ONLY CHOSE THIS CO. BECAUSE I WAS ASSURED FROM THE WORD GO THAT SMALL DELIVERY VANS WERE AVAILABLE AND WEREN'T A PROBLEM. I HAVE THEREFORE LOST WEEKS WAITING FOR SOMETHING WHICH WAS NEVER TO MATERIALISE, WASTED MANY HOURS CHASING UP THIS HOPELESS FIRM AND HAD ALSO TO SPEND HOURS TRYING TO RE-ARRANGE INSTALLATION. MORE IMPORTANTLY, I HAVE LOST THE CHANCE OF USING A SUMMER HOUSE DURING THESE PRECIOUS SUMMER MONTHS THIS YEAR. I NEED TO WARN ALL POTENTIAL PURCHASERS - check who is supplying your order (be careful - they supply B & Q, Wickes, Screwfix, Argos, etc) and IF IT IS FOREST GARDEN CO, THEN DO NOT TOUCH THEM. They decline to take any responsibility for their UTTER INCOMPETENCE AND FOR COMPLETELY MISLEADING (that verb is an understatement) CUSTOMERS. LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT, TOO - SADLY, 90% OF REVIEWERS HAVE ALSO HAD APPALLING 'SERVICE'. SO, PLEASE AVOID BEING LET DOWN BY THEM AND GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR PURCHASE.

This company has shocking customer service and poor quality products. Avoid at all costs!!!! I bought a 7x5 Apex shed and contacted them the following day because I was painting the inside of it I noticed that the paint was seeping through the timber and was visible from the outside. Most was around where the knots in the wood were but in some areas the timber was so thin it was practically translucent. I emailed them with details about my concern and received an automated response saying that they were busy and would try to make contact between 2-5 working days. The following week I emailed them again asking for a response. Today I had to call as a result of hearing nothing from them. I spoke to a belligerent man called Colin who told me he had attempted to call me on 12 Jun but there was no response. I asked him if he had left a voicemail and he said he couldn't remember that far back. I also asked if it was normal procedure to call a customer, fail to leave a voicemail and fail to respond on email if a customer does not answer their call. He then told me he didn't have any record of my second email and asked me how he could help me. I instructed Colin to read the email dated 11 Jun, review the images that I had included and respond. I have now received the most lacklustre response where he says that the knots crack as a result of being outside and should be expected. The shed had only been outside for 24 hours when I noticed all the holes in it, and some areas where there were no knots were still translucent due to the thinness of the timber used. This company misleads the consumer and provides no information about what to expect regarding the poor quality of the timber. They also provide shocking aftercare.

Terrible service I received my summerhouse which was not worth the money I paid for it. Then constant calls and messages from them to arrange delivery despite me texting and emailing back saying they had delivered it second one dumped on my drive anyway while was out. Weeks later called me to arrange collection with no apology or explanation. Both were delivered with dents scratched and damage to wood. When put together the one we are keeping had to go out a buy extra wood to hold the floor together. Lots of gaps in the wood means rain will get in so I doubt it will last many years despite painting it. Whole experience shockingly poor!
