“Ginger Bug Good product with a tasty end result. Be patient with first Ginger Bug which took quite a few days to get going. Subsequent batches have fermented better. Instructions could be improved. Teaspoon (heaped or level?) do not match suggested grammes weight. Was not sure if I should stir the Ginger Bug solution before filtering. I called Freshly Fermented and they were helpful. Be prepared to drink 3 litres a week or stock enough empty bottles as the Ginger Beer keep on coming!!”

“Great service, despite the current COVID unpleasantness the product arrived safe, sound and in line with the other ingredients that I needed to make raclette cheese!.....I’ll let you know how it turns out in about 3 months!”

“The 1l misfit kombucha arrived promptly and was well packaged. To my pleasant surprise, it was not wonky and was perfectly round. As marketed, the scoby came with a good amount of starter liquid and it worked well. I have already made two batches of kombucha with it and they taste better than store bought kombucha :) Would like to try out Jun for my next fermentation adventures!”

“Good idea, well packaged, easy to refer to instructions online and starter worked well. However, I bought the rye starter because I wanted to make rye sourdough. Fed up with lock-down, wanting a good result and not being terribly patient turned it into strong white organic wheat sourdough. Now using it every week. Tastes good and everyone likes it. Great toasted.”

“Bulgarian yogurt. Very good. I make 2 lts every 5 days. As long as I am meticulously about the temperatures it is very easy. I use a Crock Pot multi cooker.”
