“First time ordering from Freshly Fermented. The prices were very good (unlike some other similar companies who have chosen to raise their prices during the COVID-19 crisis). The website was very easy to use so making our choices was quick and simple. With thoughtful packaging and a fairly speedy delivery what’s not to like? We will definitely be placing further orders.”

“I ordered the freeze dried soured cream, buttermilk and creme fraiche starters. Each came to life as described in the instructions. I am from Germany and the buttermilk is exactly as I remember from home, slightly tart and thick - not at all like the stuff you can buy in the shops in the UK! The soured cream and creme fraiche are also wonderful, and it's nice to be able to make these at home as & when needed (especially in the days of COVID!). I have been using all three for six weeks for so now and they get better, thicker and tastier with each new cycle. Very pleased!”

“Fast service and good quality. I am really pleased with the heirloom yogurt especially. I've been looking for some time at buying an heirloom starter and saw this company recommended in a Facebook group. It has a great flavour and I've already made more batches than would have been possible with shop bought and it's still going really strong.”

“I am writing to say how much I love the range of products and the clarity of the recipes and instructions. Thanks to lockdown I have a DIY pizza oven, thanks to Freshly Fermented, sourdough pizzas are being created in it! I have also been using the Ginger Beer Plant and experimenting with flavours with syrups from my allotment in cocktails and mocktails, it has been going down a treat, very well received by everyone. Can’t wait to try the ginger water crystals too. After sales were really quick to reply, helpful and informative and happy to give advice. Great products and great people, 5 stars from me!”

“Great service and very speedy delivery. My gains have quirked really well but are growing so quickly :)! The only additional information I'd like to see on the Web site are FAQS. For example what to do with extra grains. What happens if my milk splits etc. But would recommend!”
