“The flowers I ordered ( the day before that I requested delivery)for my daughter arrived on time and looked exactly as described. I was very pleased with this experience and my daughter was happy.”
“I sent Mums to my Mom on her first wedding anniversary after my Dad died. The plant was absolutely beautiful! Not only was it blooming, there are tons of buds! My mom was very pleased.”
“What an absolute disgrace. I ordered what I expected to be a classy bouquet of 18 pink roses in a gold and glass vase. What was actually delivered was a typical grocery store arrangement of white and pink roses with baby’s breath. I definitely did not order an arrangement with baby’s breath. Nor did I want white roses in the arrangement. They couldn’t even add a different shade of pink!. I have never felt so robbed in my 63 years. I will never order flowers from ftd and will be sure to tell all my friends and family too go elsewhere for their flower delivery needs.”
“Horrible experience. Friday I ordered flowers for a co-worker's 1 year anniversary of her husband's death, which was on Saturday. I put in the delivery date, they took my money. Saturday comes, I track the shipment, and it looks like it's all on track. Come Sunday, no delivery. Then I'm told they can deliver on Monday? NOT okay. They blew it, failed to deliver, failed to communicate and failed as a business. Go to Bouqs - WAY better quality, much more professional and their selection is incredibly better. FTD lost my business.”
“I am beyond disappointed with FTD Flowers. I placed an order several days in advance for my sister’s birthday, trusting them to deliver on time and make the day special. Not only did they fail to deliver the flowers, but they had the nerve to email me the day after asking if I would mind if they switched the vase! You missed the entire birthday and then expected me to settle for a substitute vase like it would somehow fix the situation. It’s baffling how a company that specializes in delivering flowers can’t manage such a basic task. Needless to say, I will never use FTD Flowers again. If you want your special moments ruined, this is the company for you. By the way, there was no apology, just a guarantee of a refund.”
“Would give no stars if I could..
My original order was supposed to be delivered on a Monday to my Mom on her birthday. It was NEVER delivered. The next day when I called they said that they would redeliver it. The driver called my Mom and said they were at a completely different address then the address that I have entered into their website system online! HOW??? Now the flower shop is saying that they are unable to deliver my Mom her flowers! This is completely ridiculous, it was her birthday! And now she didn't get my flowers on the actual day of her birthday and you are making it stressful for her to even receive them, LATE! It is completely unacceptable.
DO NOT ORDER THROUGH FTD FLOWERS!”
“I ordered flowers for a sick friend, next day delivery. Received notification they could not fill until 5 days after the online order. That is totally unacceptable.”
“FTD did not fulfill this order and it was placed on Monday with the flowers to be sent to a memorial service scheduled for Saturday in a church . They did not even attempt to deliver the flowers to the service, instead I received an email notice of "incomplete delivery " after the service was over. The delivery time could and should have been verified ahead of time by either calling me or the church. This is the last time I will use FTD for any orders .
Sent from my iPhone”
“I ordered a bouquet for a friend's birthday online and opted for next day delivery. The flowers were not delivered. I called four times the next day to find out what happened, and I spoke to someone at corporate who assured me that she was going to make sure the order was fulfilled. Well, it wasn't fulfilled. When I discovered the original order had not been fulfilled, I requested a specific florist in the area because I knew they were in the FTD network. The customer service agent told me they could not tell me whether or not the order was sent to them. I hung up the phone, called the florist I requested, and they had not received the order. Corporate stated they sent the order to a third florist, and they didn't fulfill the order either. There was no communication as to why the order was never filled or delivered - this was not a complex bouquet either. I had to make another order with the preferred florist on their specific website - which displayed the ordered bouquet prominently - at twice the price I originally paid. The customer service agents were rude, combative, and constantly talked over me.
I'm glad this wasn't an order for a funeral because it would not have made it.
I will not give FTD.com any future business. For a company that has been in business for generations, I'm disappointed to see what it has become.”
“Do not use 1800 flowers or FTD. They will surely take your $$$ and not deliver what you ordered. I placed the order with plenty of lead time and they still screwed it up. Then a customer service rep I spoke with but could barely understand kept saying "its delivered"..... nope it wasn't. I spent over a 150.00$$, I purchased the "exquisite" arrangement with add-ons such as balloons and a card, none of it arrived. I called my CC company to dispute/cancel the payment. After haggling w/ the csr rep who I could barely understand I was able to get my $$$ refunded. Do yourself a favor and avoid FTD and 1800 flowers. Buy from your local Mom & Pop florists instead, you'll save yourself a bunch of aggravation.”
“Placed an order for a sympathy plant for a friend who just lost her husband. This morning I received a email that the delivery would be made today. This afternoon received another email saying that they were unable to secure a florist for delivery. Asking if I would like something sent out of their special gift box instead. Called customer service could not understand a word the gal was saying. Asked to speak to someone different. The second person was not any better. Asked for a refund. Was told That the refund was made. I immediately get another email reordering my original order.Customer service should have people that can speak good english that you can understand. I now need to contact my credit card and dispute 2 charges instead of one. I will never use them again.”
“Flowers were never delivered, yet they sent me an email that the delivery occurred. I ordered the flowers on Thursday for a Friday delivery. The delivery never happened on Friday as requested, and I followed up with an email. On Saturday, I received an email that the delivery had been made, but when I confirmed with the recipient, she mentioned that she had not yet received the flowers. So now as of Sunday, there was still no delivery made at which point I requested that the order be cancelled and requested a full refund. Why would they send an email that the delivery was made when in fact it had not? It's very disappointing to receive this kind of customer service, poor customer service from a business that I always considered reputable. I will NEVER provide my business to FTD and I will spread the word to as many people as possible within my network to NOT use FTD.”
“I ordered a sympathy arrangement for a loved one to be delivered, it was never delivered when I called to ask where it was they tell me your order was not available do tou wanna choose a different arrangement...OMG!!!..I didn't recieve a email telling me this or nothing!!....I am HIGHLY UPSET.!!!...this could've been avoided had they had the common decency to inform me of this in an orderly manner...I will not be using them again”
“Ordered flowers a week prior to date needed. They are going to be delivered the day after I requested. They have the audacity to charge $120+ and then not even get things there on time. I know flowers are not life and death, but you would think you would get your delivery dates on time.”
“Beautiful flowers but they delivered late TWICE. They got it wrong the first time so they redelivered it for me promising to get it on time and it’s an hour late so far and no word. Don’t expect them to follow your delivery notes.”
“I ordered a same day delivery order for a friend who was having the 1 year anniversary of their death. The company didn't do the same day delivery and emailed me that they could deliver it in the next 3 days... Maybe don't even provide this feature then?”
“Horrible don’t get flowers from them .. there’s your warning ‼️ these were $92. And they look like they will die in one day .. nope 👎🏻 and they were delivered late so ya I’ll stick with supermarket flowers!!”
