We purchased a Dining Table at the beginning of September with an understanding of a 11 - 13 week delay due to COVID-19. This was ok at that time. since the 13 week delay had passed (LAST MONTH) we have received No contact of information, No paperwork, No Updates, NOTHING.. We have called a couple of times with an answer of.. "someone will call you back" Guess what.. NO ONE HAS!!! Our request for a refund was denide as they aloud to be late on delivery. Our frustration is that no one is competent enough to make a phone call to update us on our dining table or an apology for its EVEN MORE DELAYED DELAY!!! To spend a large amount of money on a purchase and have no updates is terrible service and defiantly will not be buying from this company again! I hope management read these reviews to have an understanding of how bad service has effected customers. At this rate my family will be eating Christmas dinner on the floor!

Ordered our products in August , paid in full and were told 8/9 week delivery, now in December and still no delivery date. The store manager Rugby Dan Hughes was unwilling to take any responsibility and quoted consumer law. Unacceptable way to treat customers the owner Peter Harrison talks about customer care and his staff being important well this store needs significant training.

Ashley Smith at furniture Village Bolton is employed just to tell a pack of lies, suppose to be customer service, she couldn't care less about customers. Bet she doesn't buy anything from this awful place!!

Bought a leather sofa and two armchairs 2016, after only a few months the leather on the centre cushion on the sofa began to split, the technician came out and filled it in with colour match pen, this didn't last long, was told he wouldn't be fixing it again, knowing it would keep happening. After weeks of complaining they finally agreed to repair it and sent email to verify it. Now they are saying it can't be done, the warm brown leather is no longer available. We are left with a awful looking sofa.

I worked for them and was told to send damaged goods regardless. Lazy managers that only want to hit targets.

Please don’t order from these guys. I’m so upset as ordered Aug for delivery in Oct, 10 weeks later. In Oct told will be another 10 weeks, due Dec. With no contact at all rang to check when due and told will now be mid Jan. Had told would be here by Xmas and now feel so let down. I can’t even cancel as they want to charge 25% which we cannot afford to lose. Feel so let down. Please try elsewhere as I would hate for you to go through the same frustration.

The worst customer experience I have ever had. I would give less than one star if I could. I don’t normally write reviews but felt I had to voice out my frustrations with this awful company. I bought a bed in May 2020. They damaged my item (didn’t even care to phone me to tell me about it!) and said I had to pay for a different one and a headboard separately. Took them FIVE months to deliver the bed and having to chase them at least 20 times - absolutely ridiculous (they advised me it would take three weeks - what utter rubbish). Customer agents behaviour was despicable, rude and unhelpful apart from one guy called Nahid. Still dealing with the issue of a missing headboard SEVEN months later - had to pay for that separately even though the initial item I had bought included a headboard. Delivery man came today and delivered a table by mistake instead of the headboard and said that I had to sort out a new delivery date. The warehouse never picks up. Customer service is astonishingly bad it is laughable. I have given up with this company and will never buy from them ever again. Shame as I spent thousands here after moving to a new flat and the products are decent- definitely not worth it with the awful customer service. Would not recommend anyone else to buy from this company unless they want to have a stressful seven months chasing your products!! Nightmare!!!

I bougt a leather Sofa. after a few months it collapsed in the middle. I complained by email and got no response. Called the store many times. They then asked for photos. I sent them and the reply i got was that this was not normal ware and tare. They didnt even send someone out. All i did was sit on it. Surely that is normal ware and tare. I will never buy from Furniture Village again. There quality is awful and customer service even worse !

As with other reviews I have been waiting for a delivery from furniture village. I wasn’t told on 30th August delivery on my item was 8 to 9 weeks and the paperwork states “ in the unlikely event the furniture is going to be delayed, I will be advised at the earliest opportunity”. Nine weeks in with no delivery date, no contact and no response to numerous messages, needless to say your call is never connected and your messages are not replied to. This is a dreadful piece of customer service and this company should never get any customers through their doors as they do not deserve customers. They are quick enough to take full payment on date of order but as a customer you get little in return.

23Weeks and counting.......... Ordered desk 24th May, still no sign of it 23 weeks later (26/10/20), still. Disgraceful communications that i always initiated, constantly fobbed and mis-information provided time and time again, to buy them more time. Global Pandemic or not they should simply be truthful and honest if they cannot fulfil orders. Would not use again, be warned before you order from this company. The company clearly has no grip on its suppliers and that combined with an appalling level of customer service not give a great experience. So still waiting.....

Took pillows back next day as do not fit a standard pillow case. Not then fit for purpose. No returns policy enforced and spoken to most abruptly, left feeling most embarrassed. Awful way to talk to anyone, let alone someone who has purchased a dining table, six chairs, a lounge suite , a super king bed , headboard, two pictures, a mirror and a rug. I'll keep the pillows, buy extra large pillow cases no problem. But go back in to the Rugby store, not a chance. So embarrassing.

absolutely terrible service!! sofa arrived, had back cushions missing, they attached different legs to the base of the sofa, leaving it completely unstable. advising me to use a book to keep it stable !!! They then made a whole in my wall and have been nothing but unhelpful to repair, pay for the damage. They say they have ordered me a new sofa, but cant provide proof that its been reordered. i have been told this happens all the time and i need to look for a new sofa!!! shocking, unprofessional, unhelpful!!! DO NOT USE!!!

I paid £2950 for a so called leather sofa this being a recliner, after a couple of months the leather started to split on the middle cushion near recliner, I had a guy out from Furniture Village, he just filled the split leather in and said it was due to friction from the recliner, they aren't prepared to repair it again. The sofa looks like a cheap one now, I was never informed that a recliner could do this to so called leather. I am going to take things further, I'm sure you shouldn't need to replace your sofa after four years.

Ordered 2 designer armchairs for 2,000 GBP with estimated delivery 11-12 weeks. 13th week called them (many times over many days before I was able to speak to someone) only to hear that our armchairs will be delivered likely on week 20 without guarantees. I asked for clear explanation what happened and why and they promised to call back. They did in 10 min and on the line which was perfectly clear pretended they can not hear us. We could not call back, lines are down. No one called again. We wish to request refund as we can not wait 20+ weeks (if we lucky) to get delivery but in t&c it seems they charge 25% for those occasions. We are stuck. After reading 400+ negative reviews, I wish I never ordered anything from them... considering legal action...

order a sofa 12 weeks ago, i was told it wont be as long a 12 weeks, they now tell me after calling them for the last 5 weeks, it going to be November which means 17 weeks so a 3rd of the year spent waiting, i understand Covid but lets stop hiding, so i now have nowhere to sit. this company is rubbish especially the Thurrock branch, dont call them as the woman i spoke to was one of the rudest people i have ever spoken to, she would not let me talk.

At the 1st delivery attempt the sofa was damaged so we sat on the floor for 2 weeks until they checked it over and delivered it back with temporary feet. Good news after that though as we got three weeks before the arms fell off. Literally fell off. I started noticing wood chippings after a couple of days so I rang and in fairness to them, they arranged a replacement. It was when the 1st arm fell off that I rang to cancel the next sofa. It turns out that this "premium" £2k sofa is made out of the finest chipboard hardwood. Not hardwood hardwood! The main body of the sofa is held up by 3 bolts through that unicorn of woods... the chipboard hardwood. You only tend to get this material when you pay 2k for a £100 sofa. After saying I'd be sharing this on social media they offered me the use of it for 8 weeks but asked me to take care of it as they will repair and sell it.... what!? Its junk. Throw it in the bin.... dont pass it on to some poor unsuspecting family. They then asked if I'd be interested in keeping it at a reduced rate. Wait for it..... £1300!🤣 "Sir, it is a 2k sofa" I would of had it for a couple of hundred quid as I now have to sit on the floor until Jan 8th 2021. I did mention this, they said we are out of "contract" now so you are on your own. Like I said... they offered me this one for 8 weeks but I declined on the basis that I'd still be paying for it until it is returned. Unbelievable. Needless to say, I wont be going back. Look on the bright side... at least I'll have space for a big xmas tree this year. Have I forgotten anything🤔 they have nice cookies in the showroom. Everything else is shocking.

I purchased some sofas after finding the ones in store very comfortable. As soon as they were delivered they did not feel as comfortable. I thought maybe we just needed to wear them in a bit but no, they got worse over the next year. So bad that I complained and they kindly agreed to replace them, with exactly the same sofas which have again become uncomfortable so much so that you feel a bar of wood in your back. I went back in store and sat on the set that sold us and they are extremely comfortable as I had remembered. I told the person in store this when they asked if they could help, they said call customer service. I won't buy a sofa that I cannot check first as I feel stores like this put high quality versions in their stores and send you cheaply made replicas.
