I am giving this one star as I cannot give minus figures Stay away from this business!!! we paid over £4000 for a 100% leather suite. The first suite was returned as the mechanism was bent. the replacement suite has started to peel, after less than 2 years. when we complained the fault was 'diagnosed' immediately from 10 miles away by the sales person who sold us the suite coincidentally, as being down to my medication, the same person who sold it to us in the first place but failed to mention it, and who now advises me that it is still not their policy to warn people of this despite the fact that there are 19m blood thinner takers in the UK. after some reluctance the sales person agreed to send out a technician, and he has diagnosed the same issue and FV have advised it is not their fault, but have not provided any authoritative evidence to back the assertion about medication up, nor is it covered by their product guarantee , despite the fact that they have identified it as an issue it is not an exclusion in their guarantee. unable to find much information on the internet I discussed this with more reputable furniture manufacturers in the UK, who have never heard of medication as an issue , and suggest that this is most likely due to manufacturers not adhering to UK standards, this is what we get when we import rubbish from China. AS I suggested at the beginning, stay away from this company. The quality of the furniture, the Furniture Protection Plan, (warranty) the information given by sales people, the customer service are all the same rubbish standard

Beyond awful customer service - Never again! Pay extra elsewhere. Placed an order on 21 August 2020 for delivery within 11-12 weeks. Today marks week 20 and still nothing. Whilst I appreciate covid and Brexit has impacted the world - FV continue to claim that they are making deliveries. - I received emails saying deliveries were still being made and expected my order in Nov 2020 - delivery date came and went - I contacted FV who advised it would be early December (no apology) - Early December came and went no communication from them so I contacted them and was told to wait an additional week....nothing - Then I receive an email saying due to Brexit it was estimated and they would contact me 4th Jan....again nothing - I email on the 5th and now I am being told maybe by end of January 2023 (23 weeks) for a sofa which to be quite frank is nothing special - I could have had a bespoke sofa made in this ridiculous period of time. They provided a slap in the face of £110 refund which whilst is better than nothing, it doesn't compensate for this absurd delay and terrible/misleading/non-existent communication. Never again

Ordered a sofa and matching chair beginning of September with a twelve week delivery time, this came and went with no contact from FV whatsoever. So we made numerous phone calls to the store we where finally given a date for delivery of the 22nd December, after going into store (as no one returns your calls), On the 21st December we checked that our ordered was still due for delivery the following day we where told yes everything is in the green and we should receive a text with the time slot. Well the delivery came the next day a loan two seater sofa not our order god only know when we will receive that sometime in January 5 month after they had taken our money disgusting service first and last order I will ever place with FV how they have the nerve to advertise on TV is behind me. You can see from the attached pictures what we ordered to what actually arrived

Supplied and installed slider wardrobe one door glass no issues second door is wood and is very light. The wooden door vibrates and rattled when pulled open or one walks nearby the unit, they claim it’s because my floor moves ! New laminate floor does not move, the door has lateral movement and not fit for purpose. After installing soft close units they claim they’ve done their bit of goodwill gesture and fobbed me off. I’m looking to take them to the local county court and expose them. Have made many purchases in the past no issues will not buy from them again after this.

Not even worth for one Star, there is no option not to select STAR. Warning!!!!!This company(Furniture Village Staines) is selling poor Quality, QC Unapproved Approved , Safety Critical issue and Health Risk SOFAs and the store management are cheaters. I can't believe, How he can sell an faulty ex-Display Sofas to a patient. First instant, It shouldn't be displayed on the retail floor My Wife is Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohn's patients. She wanted to a recliner and A relaxing Sofa. I went to see Sofas Furniture Village Staines and Brought one Ex-Displayed five seaters. The price was advertised as £995. I checked the external martials fibric and looks fine with me. I've asked the salesmen in details on any faulty the magnesium or issue or even ripped. He told me this is an ex-displayed one, its close to brand new. Since I was in a rush, I told my wife to ask them if the management is happy with Sum of £900. The Store Manager in Staines, with out any hesitation he agreed. She paid full amount. We were so happy about the sofa and collected the after a week. When we started to place the sofa in our drawing room we found number of holes on underneath each sofa set. The fibric underneath the Sofa has been ripped by a person. Mainly on the relaxing Sofa, when I had a look through the hole I found the springs are hanging on the balance, there is not support. Lucky me, I only the person sat on the sofa and found Safety critical issue. Imagine, what happen if my daughter sat on the sofa? She should have injured herself.

Excellent service from point of sale to delivery. I searched online for the perfect fit, corner sofa for our lounge, then paid Funiture Village, Southampton a visit on Aug Bank Holiday 2020. I knew the suite I wanted & had triple checked the online measurements, but needed to visit store to test the comfort. I was met by Victoria, the store manager & WOW what a lovely individual she is. She was able to answer all my questions i.e. “when’s the cut off date for pre Christmas delivery” amongst others & I left the store feeling happy, positive & equipped with lots of knowledge but knowing I’d need to place the order by the following week end for a pre Christmas delivery. At no time did Victoria push me into signing on the dotted line, to the contrary, following all my questions, she wanted to be sure I was buying exactly what I wanted. So, the following week end, I returned to see Victoria, placed my order, which arrived 2 weeks ago & the two delivery men could not do enough to ensure, the service was executed with the greatest of customer care too. They provided their own tread mats to ensure my new carpet wasn’t dirtied & ensured to adhere to the present social distancing measures. As a family, we are all so happy with our lovely cosy new lounge & the customer care received from The Furniture Village team is second to none! To top it all, Victoria called me after delivery to make sure all was well! I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more! 😊

I have ordered my corner sofa bed in October 2020. Sales person assured me that sofa will be delivered in pieces and put together in my flat as the sofa I have ordered is quite big. Delivery was arranged first week in December, so I got rid off my old sofa. Delivery came, furniture in only two pieced so will not fit through door. After many calls and left messages, following delivery date was cancelled on the morning, rearranged for following day. Just to be cancelled again. I was assures that sofa was taken apart and will be delivered in two days time. When 4th attempt happened, delivery guys came with sofa as previous, so ofcourse didn't fit again. Was told manager will call me the same day - never did. I have left number of voicemails for somebody to call me back. So I am left without sofa for the last two weeks, and on Christmas and my £3000 sofa in warehouse. I am very upset and disappointed with Furniture Village customer service and approach to the whole situation.

I ordered a lamp online at the beginning of October, still hasn’t arrived and keep being told it will arrive by this date, then another date but still no lamp. I was also told a month ago it’s in transport. Constant lies. I have now asked for a refund so we will see.

Ordered sofa 8th August delivery date end of October so I sold my sofa it was 18months old had to many cushions but was a lovely sofa ordered leather from FV. So waiting for sofa spoke to a woman very rude she was just to make sure my sofa is coming as I hadn't heard anything. She couldn't tell me a thing wasnt interested in finding out spoke over me. I rang back complained and while doing that she rang me back to say the 15th November. So I wasnt happy I emailed the ceo to complain. In the meantime early November I had a call of the man who sold me the sofa 15th November and its in the country. OK so with me e mailing the ceo I get told the manager will phone assistant one rang said the 24th November now. Following day manager rings tells me that I hadn't spoke to his staff. Yes I did they both told me the 15th he argued with me kept saying where are you getting the 15th from, your staff thats where I also got a loan sofa to tide us over off them. So I wouldnt pay any more until the day before the sofa arrived 26th November the sofa arrived with a dent in the back. Told them to take it away and bring loan sofa in. I got my refund back bar 250 they wanted to keep 500. The loan sofa is nothing like what I ordered in the mean time I've found all this upsetting they have lied and even made me out to be a liar. I've asked the ceo to explain why I have been spoken to in such a manner and lied to. No reply was told area manager will get in touch. No phone call so left another review on trust pilot to say if I dont get a call im taking them to trading standards. I also want compensation as they went over thier time limit as you can claim for that and the rest of my refund. I got a call as soon as I put the review in I get a call on Monday.

Awful service, ordered a lamp. Said it could take 14 days to deliver, 18 days pass, no sign or any emails (oh other than spam mail trying to sell me other stuff) called to find out what was going on, after paying £10 for delivery. Was told by the first rude customer service advisor, she had spoke with her suppliers (didn’t realise I was dealing with middle men) it would be with me end of the week. Still no sign a week and half later. Phone to cancel the order after finding the lamp online, cheaper and with free next day delivery. Second rude customer service advisor tells me it will take a week to find out if the supplier has despatched my item yet and cancel my order. 1 month and two days later I’m still awaiting for my money back. Wouldn’t use this company again if you paid me!

We purchased a Dining Table at the beginning of September with an understanding of a 11 - 13 week delay due to COVID-19. This was ok at that time. since the 13 week delay had passed (LAST MONTH) we have received No contact of information, No paperwork, No Updates, NOTHING.. We have called a couple of times with an answer of.. "someone will call you back" Guess what.. NO ONE HAS!!! Our request for a refund was denide as they aloud to be late on delivery. Our frustration is that no one is competent enough to make a phone call to update us on our dining table or an apology for its EVEN MORE DELAYED DELAY!!! To spend a large amount of money on a purchase and have no updates is terrible service and defiantly will not be buying from this company again! I hope management read these reviews to have an understanding of how bad service has effected customers. At this rate my family will be eating Christmas dinner on the floor!

Ordered our products in August , paid in full and were told 8/9 week delivery, now in December and still no delivery date. The store manager Rugby Dan Hughes was unwilling to take any responsibility and quoted consumer law. Unacceptable way to treat customers the owner Peter Harrison talks about customer care and his staff being important well this store needs significant training.

Bought a leather sofa and two armchairs 2016, after only a few months the leather on the centre cushion on the sofa began to split, the technician came out and filled it in with colour match pen, this didn't last long, was told he wouldn't be fixing it again, knowing it would keep happening. After weeks of complaining they finally agreed to repair it and sent email to verify it. Now they are saying it can't be done, the warm brown leather is no longer available. We are left with a awful looking sofa.

Please don’t order from these guys. I’m so upset as ordered Aug for delivery in Oct, 10 weeks later. In Oct told will be another 10 weeks, due Dec. With no contact at all rang to check when due and told will now be mid Jan. Had told would be here by Xmas and now feel so let down. I can’t even cancel as they want to charge 25% which we cannot afford to lose. Feel so let down. Please try elsewhere as I would hate for you to go through the same frustration.
